This is the 18th episode of MMRR. Sorry for the delay, but school does that. Comic, next time your on Yahoo/AIM, try to IM me. Also PowerRangerFan7, I cut out the thing that I mentioned before. I know there is a part of two that might not make sense, but I hope it does. The next episode is Jason and Hunter, and I don't know if it will be up monday or later, but just enjoy this one.

Wes was in his room with Jen, while Wes was on the computer. On it, was a picture of the Q-Rex, and a ton of numbers representing different things. Wes was never the best at math, but he needed a way to beat the Q-Rex, and he needed to learn now. Later in the day, the Time Force team was going to have a pool party, since they never had any in the future.
Jen slowly got out of her bed, and walked up to Wes looking at all the numbers. "Wes, you aren't going to beat Eric with this, you need to use your mind."
"I know." said Wes. "But I need to make sure my plan works." Wes really wanted to impress Jen by showing her that he could win with his tiny zord. He also had Alex on his mind. Wes still felt like he had something to prove to Alex, but he also didn't want Alex to feel that he was the best while he was a first round loser.
"I got it." said Wes, as he took a small CD out of the computer. "I have to go talk to Andros, see you in an hour." Wes didn't know why, but he felt that Eric might be spying on him. He was surprised when Eric didn't say anything about his improved fighting skills, and he knew Eric wasn't positive that he would win, even though he'd never admit to that.
Wes arrived at Andros room, and was invited to go inside. Wes whispered something in Andros ear. "Yeah, that's fine. Lets do it now so I don't have to worry about it later."
"Okay, thank you." said Wes. The two walked to the stadium, and had Wes only zord come out of it's panel. Both rangers went inside the zord and Wes inserted the disk. The rangers left and the zord returned. Andros went back to his room while Wes stayed in the stadium. He knew much of the battle would be mental, so might as well get an ahead start with that now.
Eric was also in his room, worried. When he was little, he always had to work his way up. Now that Eric got up to being a power ranger, and one of the best, he didn't know where to go from there. He knew he wanted to win in his battle, but why. He proved to Wes and everyone else that he was an excellent fighter.
Eric did know he wanted to impress someone, and that was Taylor. Eric wanted to spend the rest of his life with Taylor, but how? He couldn't just go up to her and tell her, could he? Eric just stopped thinking, he couldn't.
"No." said Eric out load. He couldn't get soft before the battle, or he would get his butt kicked. Eric decided then that he would ask Taylor to go with them to the pool party, and he would do it his way like he always had.
Eric looked himself in the mirror and made sure he didn't have any drop of emotion on his face. Eric then walked to Taylor's room and knocked on the door. Taylor opened the door, a little started. "Hi Eric." she said.
"Hey Taylor." said Eric. "The guys and I are having a pool party and they were wondering if you wanted to come."
Taylor looked away from Eric trying to avoid eye contact. "Why would the other guys want me to go?"
Eric didn't know what to say, but normally he could handle these things so he said whatever came out of his mouth. "Okay, I was wondering if you wanted to come."
Taylor turned so Eric couldn't see her face because she didn't want him to see her smile. "Well I don't want to get you distracted for your battle." replied Taylor.
"Yeah right." said Eric. "Wes will be distracted enough from seeing Jen that his little chance will turn into a zero chance."
"Fine, I'll think about it." replied Taylor.
"Okay Taylor." replied Eric. "You do that." Eric left the hallway and returned to his room, happy that Taylor was probably going to go spend the day with him. He knew the rest of Time Force wouldn't like it as much, but to bad for them.
Eric decided to make use of his time and went outside. Eric ran away from the stadium, and entered a forest a few minutes away from the stadium with many trees. "Quantum Power." yelled Eric. Eric took out his Quantum Defender and started shooting at leaves. After an hours time, all the red and brown leafs were off the trees or destroyed, leaving all the green and yellow ones.
Eric put his blaster back in it's holster and powered down. He ran back to the stadium, and found the rest of Time Force, including Taylor, waiting for him. "Where have you been?" asked Taylor.
"Just training a little." replied Eric. The rangers walked to the pool that Andros told about and that they reserved. Wes walked with Jen, Eric with Taylor, and Lucas went with Nadira. With little talking, the rangers arrived. Wes had planned the event, mostly because everyone from the future never had one of these, but also he wanted to have fun.
"Let's see who has the best cannon ball." said Eric to Wes. Wes nodded his head, and the two red rangers headed to the diving pool. Katie, Trip, Lucas and Nadira went into the big pool, with a small ball to play catch with. Ransik lied down by the pool on a chair, while Jen and Taylor watched Eric and Wes.
Wes and Eric continued to jump off the diving pool. They decided whoever could get the girls wet first would win. Taylor and Jen were both wearing their regular cloths over their bathing suits, so both the red rangers wanted to change that.
After an hour with no success, the red rangers stopped. They were having a good time, but weren't sure if their girl friends were. Taylor and Jen were talking a little while they were in the pool, but not much. Wes and Eric dried off a little, and then sat down by Jen and Taylor.
"Having fun?" asked Wes.
"Yeah." said Jen. Jen then took a drink from her soda.
"What about you?" asked Eric.
"Sure." replied Taylor. Taylor moved towards Jen, and whispered something in her ear. After Taylor said something, Jen nodded her head, got up and walked to the diving board. She took off her cloths till all that was left was her swim suit.
Jen jumped off the diving board, and made a perfect dive into the pool. Jen got out of the pool. "How'd you like that Wes?"
"Nice." said a nearly speechless Wes. He had no idea that Jen knew how to dive.
"O yeah." said Taylor. "Watch this." she also went into her bathing suit, and got on the diving board. She did two back flips and went gracefully into the water. She came out and saw Eric. "How'd you like that?"
"I could do that." said Eric. Eric went back on to the diving board, and had his back facing the water. Eric jumped off and tried to flip, but he barely moved. He landed flat on his stomach into the water. Eric exited the water, but Taylor stopped him before he could get back to the board.
"Eric, I did this for years when I was a kid, you can't learn this in a day." told Taylor. Eric rolled his eyes, took his bag and walked away. He quickly dried off, and left. Slowly everyone else got ready to leave and did.
While walking back, no one talked until Taylor did. "Do any of you know what his problem is?" asked Taylor.
"Eric probably felt that he had to be better then you to impress you. I think he really does like you, but just doesn't get it." answered Wes. Taylor spent the rest of the walk home thinking about Eric.
"I miss Alex." said Trip.
"We all do." replied Katie. While Wes and Eric were diving, the other rangers were talking about Alex. The rangers returned to the hotel, and went to their rooms for the rest of the night. Instead of going to his own room, Wes went to Eric's room to see him.
"Hey Eric, you okay?" asked Wes.
"Yeah, fine." answered Eric. "Good luck tomorrow." Eric pulled out his hand.
Wes knew that if this was two years ago, Eric would never do this kind of a jester. "You too." replied Wes. "You're going to need it."
Both rangers smiled at each other. "Yeah right." said Eric. Wes left and went to his room, where he'd practice a little with Jen till they slept.
The rangers woke up the next morning(I spelled it right :) ) and quickly arrived at the stadium. Eric and Wes wouldn't say a thing to each other. They got to the point that for the next hour, they could fight each other like they hated each other. Once it was ten, Joel went on to the stadium to do his normal announcement.
"Hello everyone and this is yet again the sky cowboy. Today we will have the second battle of the team mates fight. We will see Wes and Eric both use there Time Force powers against each other, and the winner will fight Andros. Good luck to Wes, and begin!"
Wes trained for a few years now, and he was ready for his biggest fight since 2001. The only thing Wes had to worry about is defeating his rival, and he was willing to do whatever it took to win. Eric stood at the other end of the stadium also ready to fight. His only motivation was Taylor, but would be enough for him to defeat Wes? Both rangers needed to prove that they were the best of Time Force, and they both intended to do it.
"Time for, Time Force." yelled Wes, as he again morphed into the red Time Force ranger. He reminded himself that Alex was also a red Time Force ranger, and that Alex didn't approve of him at first.
"Quantum Power." said Eric, while he also morphed. The two red teammates starred each other in the eyes. "You've always wanted the Quantum power, come and get it."
Eric expected Wes to pull out his Chrono Saber, but he didn't. Wes sprinted right in front of Eric until Wes jumped up and above Eric. Eric slowly turned around, but was kicked by Wes while he was still in the air. Wes landed while Eric was stumbling. Wes grabbed Eric's arm and started running, dragging Eric on the ground.
Eric tried to get out of Wes hold, but couldn't. Wes eventually got to the wall, and crashed Eric's head into it. Wes wouldn't be able to stop right at the wall, so he started running up it until he flipped off. Eric slowly got up from the ground, but Wes was right there facing him. Wes took his fist, and jammed it into Eric's stomach, making him slowly fall down again.
Eric was lost, and didn't quiet know what he was doing anymore. He looked into the stands and saw Taylor, worried. Everything came right back to Eric, why he was fighting. While still on the ground, Eric pulled out his Quantum Defender and shot at Wes, hitting him in the arm. Wes was too busy being proud of what he accomplished to really notice.
Eric jumped back up and shot a few more times, one hitting Wes in the head. Now Wes had to do something, so he pulled out his Chrono Blaster, and shot at Eric. Eric did a hand stand out of the way, and again shot at Wes. Wes got hit some more, and continued to shoot back. Eric put his Quantum Defender in front of him, first blocking a shot to the stomach and then one to the head.
Wes knew that he couldn't go on like this. Wes also knew he had the advantage with the hand to hand combat, and that he had a lot more weapons, so he decided to use them. Wes got onto his Vector Cycle and also got out his Electro Booster.
Eric continued to shoot at Wes, but it was no use. With him moving so fast and a hugh blaster to block the shots, Eric couldn't hit Wes. Wes turned his bike and faced Eric who was ready for anything. Wes shot at Eric twice, both missing, while he was running towards Eric. Eric waited for Wes to arrive, and when he did both rangers jumped.
Wes was in the air first, flying towards the wall. Eric was under Wes, so he hit Wes with the end of his Quantum Defender. The bike crashed into the wall and exploded, while both rangers landed on their side near the crashed cycle. Wes quickly got up, and ran as far away from Eric as he could. Wes still had one blaster left, and he wanted to use it well.
Wes had his V-Weapon out, and shot a strong blast at Eric. Eric got hit, and knew he couldn't let Wes get any bigger lead, so he wanted to finish this small weapon fighting as soon as he could. He set his Quantum Defender to sword mode, and charged at Wes. During the sprint, Wes shot twice more at Eric, both times the shot getting knocked down by Eric's sword.
Once Eric was within yards of Wes, Wes knew he had to do something new. He threw his blaster at Eric, forcing Eric to swerve out of the way. This made Eric trip and fall to the ground, while Wes could get out his Chrono Saber.
Wes had spent a lot of time preparing for the battle mentally, and used these few seconds to remember where they were. Wes finished the hand to hand combat, and the blaster contest, and now was at the sword battle. Wes remembered his strategy for this part, so he broke his sword in two.
Eric got himself back up and attacked Wes chest. Wes put up his two swords to defend himself, but both broke in half with ease. Wes stood their with two broken parts of swords, and he knew Eric could easily break those if he could break them in half.
Wes ran as far as he could so Eric couldn't get him again. "Battle Warrior Armor." yelled Wes. Wes wanted a lead now just in case his plan for the zord battle failed, but wasn't sure if he could get it. He had almost no memory on Eric's armor, so he had to do whatever he could.
"Mega Battle Armor." said Eric. Both rangers flew up in the air ready to fight. Wes got his hugh sword in his hand, and wanted to do the final strike move now. Eric decided to play along, so he flew right up to Wes, and started to his final strike move. Even if he got badly injured, he would soon be protected by his Quantasaurus Rex.
Both rangers finished moving their swords into a circle, and attacked. A hugh ball of energy and fire flashed in front of both rangers, forming a hugh explosion. After the explosion ended, both rangers were on the ground, out of armor but still morphed.
"Quantasaurus Rex, arise." said Eric. His hugh megazord arose from the ground.
"What about the Strata Cycle and TF Eagle?" asked Wes, as he had plans for that part of the battle too.
"We all ready found who was faster." said Eric. "And you don't want them to find out, do you?" Eric jumped onto his zord and was ready to fight.
Wes also called for his zord, and got inside Time Flier 1. The zords faced each other for a moment, until the Time Flier started fling extremely fast in circles around the Q-Rex. Eric could see Wes jump out of his zord, but he didn't know why. Eric was very tempted to just smash the Time Flier into the ground, but it could be a trap.
Wes landed on the ground, and then got onto the Strata Cycle and flew up slightly in the air. With his Chrono Blaster, aiming for the Q-Rex's Trixyrium Crystal. A continuous beam on energy fired at the Q-Rex until it hit the crystal. The Q-Rex shouted out in pain once it got hit. Eventually Wes flew higher, and continued to shoot at the Q-Rex.
Eric knew he had to stop Wes now, so he got into his TF eagle. Wes didn't seem to care, and continued to fire. Eric flew his ship towards Wes, and eventually ran his ship into the Strata Cycle with enough force to make both of them hit the ground. Before they hit, Wes had jumped off his Strata Cycle and continued to fire. Eric's ship was still functional, so he flew it back up.
This was Wes big plan, and it looked like it would work. Wes knew he was about half done bringing down the Q-Rex, but Eric was out of the Q-Rex and ready to fight. He knew that even if he couldn't do much more, the Q-Rex shouldn't be working as well.
Eric had to think fast. He could attack Wes, but Wes could still fire. Eric could use some stronger attacks on Wes, but he didn't want to kill him or anything. Then he got an idea, force Wes to surrender. If he could get Wes back in his Time Flier, he could take it into the Q-Rex mouth and force him to quit.
Eric got out of the TF Eagle and got on top of it. He quickly got down to Wes, and grabbed him. Wes didn't struggle at all, he just continued to fire knowing that the Q-Rex would soon be down. Eric knew he wouldn't make it, so he knocked the blaster out of Wes hand and onto the ground.
Wes got out of his trance, and started to struggle, but Eric had a good hold on him. Eric jumped from his ship to the Time Flier, so both rangers were now on the moving Time Flier. With his leg, Eric opened up the cockpit to the Time Flier, and dropped Wes in. Wes tried to get out, but Eric quickly shut it and stood on top of it.
Wes tried to push it back open, but he couldn't get out. "Take that Wes." said Eric. Now Wes had to think. His plan had currently failed, and Eric had complete control. Eric told what the Q-Rex what to do next, and it obeyed.
The Q-Rex grabbed the zord, and put it into it's mouth. Eric got onto the Q-Rex's hand, and stood by the Time Flier. "Okay Wes, you just tell me when you quit." The Q-Rex slowly bit harder and harder on the Time Flier. Eventually, Wes had no choice.
"Okay, you win Eric." said Wes. "Now stop this before it kills me."
"Q-Rex, let go." said Wes, but the Q-Rex didn't reply. It continued to bite harder and harder on the Time Flier, until the ship cracked, and millions of small pieces fell to the ground. Eric jumped off of the Q-Rex, who fell down on it's side. A scared Andros, Joel and Jen ran onto the field looking for Wes. Eventually Wes was found, un-morphed and extremely beat up.
"We need the hospital at the stadium now." said Andros threw his morpher.
Eric was un-morphed and by Wes side. "I'm sorry Wes. I didn't mean to-."
"Don't worry." whispered Wes. "It's not your fault." Wes slowly raised his hand, and Eric took it. Tears ran down Eric's eyes.
"As you all can see Wes looks very injured, but it looks like he won't be permanently injured. Obviously Eric has won and he will face Andros in two days. Tomorrow Jason will be facing Hunter." said Joel, in a very soft voice. A flying ambulance rushed onto the stadium. A few people came out, got Wes on a stretch, and left with Andros, Eric, Jen and Wes. Before they left Andros whispered something in Joel's ear. "Because of this, there is a chance the rest of the tournament will get canceled because of Wes injury. Good luck to the four remaining contestants, and our best wishes will be out to Wes for his recovery."

Eric jumped back up and shot a few more times, one hitting Wes in the head. Now Wes had to do something, so he pulled out his Chrono Blaster, and shot at Eric. Eric did a hand stand out of the way, and again shot at Wes. Wes got hit some more, and continued to shoot back. Eric put his Quantum Defender in front of him, first blocking a shot to the stomach and then one to the head.
Wes knew that he couldn't go on like this. Wes also knew he had the advantage with the hand to hand combat, and that he had a lot more weapons, so he decided to use them. Wes got onto his Vector Cycle and also got out his Electro Booster.
Eric continued to shoot at Wes, but it was no use. With him moving so fast and a hugh blaster to block the shots, Eric couldn't hit Wes. Wes turned his bike and faced Eric who was ready for anything. Wes shot at Eric twice, both missing, while he was running towards Eric. Eric waited for Wes to arrive, and when he did both rangers jumped.
Wes was in the air first, flying towards the wall. Eric was under Wes, so he hit Wes with the end of his Quantum Defender. The bike crashed into the wall and exploded, while both rangers landed on their side near the crashed cycle. Wes quickly got up, and ran as far away from Eric as he could. Wes still had one blaster left, and he wanted to use it well.
Wes had his V-Weapon out, and shot a strong blast at Eric. Eric got hit, and knew he couldn't let Wes get any bigger lead, so he wanted to finish this small weapon fighting as soon as he could. He set his Quantum Defender to sword mode, and charged at Wes. During the sprint, Wes shot twice more at Eric, both times the shot getting knocked down by Eric's sword.
Once Eric was within yards of Wes, Wes knew he had to do something new. He threw his blaster at Eric, forcing Eric to swerve out of the way. This made Eric trip and fall to the ground, while Wes could get out his Chrono Saber.
Wes had spent a lot of time preparing for the battle mentally, and used these few seconds to remember where they were. Wes finished the hand to hand combat, and the blaster contest, and now was at the sword battle. Wes remembered his strategy for this part, so he broke his sword in two.
Eric got himself back up and attacked Wes chest. Wes put up his two swords to defend himself, but both broke in half with ease. Wes stood their with two broken parts of swords, and he knew Eric could easily break those if he could break them in half.
Wes ran as far as he could so Eric couldn't get him again. "Battle Warrior Armor." yelled Wes. Wes wanted a lead now just in case his plan for the zord battle failed, but wasn't sure if he could get it. He had almost no memory on Eric's armor, so he had to do whatever he could.
"Mega Battle Armor." said Eric. Both rangers flew up in the air ready to fight. Wes got his hugh sword in his hand, and wanted to do the final strike move now. Eric decided to play along, so he flew right up to Wes, and started to his final strike move. Even if he got badly injured, he would soon be protected by his Quantasaurus Rex.
Both rangers finished moving their swords into a circle, and attacked. A hugh ball of energy and fire flashed in front of both rangers, forming a hugh explosion. After the explosion ended, both rangers were on the ground, out of armor but still morphed.
"Quantasaurus Rex, arise." said Eric. His hugh megazord arose from the ground.
"What about the Strata Cycle and TF Eagle?" asked Wes, as he had plans for that part of the battle too.
"We all ready found who was faster." said Eric. "And you don't want them to find out, do you?" Eric jumped onto his zord and was ready to fight.
Wes also called for his zord, and got inside Time Flier 1. The zords faced each other for a moment, until the Time Flier started fling extremely fast in circles around the Q-Rex. Eric could see Wes jump out of his zord, but he didn't know why. Eric was very tempted to just smash the Time Flier into the ground, but it could be a trap.
Wes landed on the ground, and then got onto the Strata Cycle and flew up slightly in the air. With his Chrono Blaster, aiming for the Q-Rex's Trixyrium Crystal. A continuous beam on energy fired at the Q-Rex until it hit the crystal. The Q-Rex shouted out in pain once it got hit. Eventually Wes flew higher, and continued to shoot at the Q-Rex.
Eric knew he had to stop Wes now, so he got into his TF eagle. Wes didn't seem to care, and continued to fire. Eric flew his ship towards Wes, and eventually ran his ship into the Strata Cycle with enough force to make both of them hit the ground. Before they hit, Wes had jumped off his Strata Cycle and continued to fire. Eric's ship was still functional, so he flew it back up.
This was Wes big plan, and it looked like it would work. Wes knew he was about half done bringing down the Q-Rex, but Eric was out of the Q-Rex and ready to fight. He knew that even if he couldn't do much more, the Q-Rex shouldn't be working as well.
Eric had to think fast. He could attack Wes, but Wes could still fire. Eric could use some stronger attacks on Wes, but he didn't want to kill him or anything. Then he got an idea, force Wes to surrender. If he could get Wes back in his Time Flier, he could take it into the Q-Rex mouth and force him to quit.
Eric got out of the TF Eagle and got on top of it. He quickly got down to Wes, and grabbed him. Wes didn't struggle at all, he just continued to fire knowing that the Q-Rex would soon be down. Eric knew he wouldn't make it, so he knocked the blaster out of Wes hand and onto the ground.
Wes got out of his trance, and started to struggle, but Eric had a good hold on him. Eric jumped from his ship to the Time Flier, so both rangers were now on the moving Time Flier. With his leg, Eric opened up the cockpit to the Time Flier, and dropped Wes in. Wes tried to get out, but Eric quickly shut it and stood on top of it.
Wes tried to push it back open, but he couldn't get out. "Take that Wes." said Eric. Now Wes had to think. His plan had currently failed, and Eric had complete control. Eric told what the Q-Rex what to do next, and it obeyed.
The Q-Rex grabbed the zord, and put it into it's mouth. Eric got onto the Q-Rex's hand, and stood by the Time Flier. "Okay Wes, you just tell me when you quit." The Q-Rex slowly bit harder and harder on the Time Flier. Eventually, Wes had no choice.
"Okay, you win Eric." said Wes. "Now stop this before it kills me."
"Q-Rex, let go." said Wes, but the Q-Rex didn't reply. It continued to bite harder and harder on the Time Flier, until the ship cracked, and millions of small pieces fell to the ground. Eric jumped off of the Q-Rex, who fell down on it's side. A scared Andros, Joel and Jen ran onto the field looking for Wes. Eventually Wes was found, un-morphed and extremely beat up.
"We need the hospital at the stadium now." said Andros threw his morpher.
Eric was un-morphed and by Wes side. "I'm sorry Wes. I didn't mean to-."
"Don't worry." whispered Wes. "It's not your fault." Wes slowly raised his hand, and Eric took it. Tears ran down Eric's eyes.
"As you all can see Wes looks very injured, but it looks like he won't be permanently injured. Obviously Eric has won and he will face Andros in two days. Tomorrow Jason will be facing Hunter." said Joel, in a very soft voice. A flying ambulance rushed onto the stadium. A few people came out, got Wes on a stretch, and left with Andros, Eric, Jen and Wes. Before they left Andros whispered something in Joel's ear. "Because of this, there is a chance the rest of the tournament will get canceled because of Wes injury. Good luck to the four remaining contestants, and our best wishes will be out to Wes for his recovery."
