"Mixed With Red"

Last time on Psycho Cyclone: Jamie, Cabel, Briana and Jeromy were chosen by Psychos Black, Yellow, Pink and Blue at the bearer of their powers and consciceneness. The four went into battle with Psycho Red who apperantly was taking orders from Deamon, who is working for the big bad, Balcifer. The rangers had Red on the ropes but all their hard work seemed to be all for nothing, Red was still standing strong as ever. Is this the end of the Psychos before they even start? Find out next ...

"That can't be good," Cabel muttered, seeing Red out of the corner of her eye. The rest of the rangers looked to see Red standing in a ring of fire. Jamie raised his Psycho Staff in a warning manner. Jeromy charged Red with his axe and was easily dispatched by Red's newly summoned katana. Jeromy rolled back to the others in pain.

"You are no match for me even if there is four of you and one of me," Red cackled. He broght his right hand to his head and then thrust it toward the group. The four were hit with massive amounts of negitive enegry. They fell to the ground, all racked with intense pain.

"What are we gonna do?" Cabel asked the rest of the group and Yellow. All the Psychos were silent, wounder how could Balcifer or Deamon could have turned Red. He was the undisputed leader of the Psychos. Psycho Yellow actually concentrated on Red's weapon and realized that wasn't the Psycho Sword.

<That's not Red!> Yellow eclaimed to the other Psychos, <We still have a hope that Red wasn't captured. He must still be out there looking for his vessal.>

"We need to hold this imposter off untill Psycho Red appears," Jamie said, listening to Psycho Black. "Black says that this could get kinda painful, but its for the best and we need to do this are you with me?!"

"RIGHT!!" the rangers said as a group, and charged into battle.

"WATCH OUT!!!!!!!" some girl with hair that was way to big to be real yelled. Jacob jumped out of her way and on to a bench. He was being the mallrat that he hated to be but enjoyed seeing the people around. He was the type of person that hated people but loved gatherings, and he couldn't figure out why.

"That was way cool how you jumped on to the back of that bench," another girl said from behind. Jacob turned to see one of his co-workers. Her name was Tao. They had dated a couple of times, neither of them really an expert on the whole dating thing.

Jacob blushed, "Thanks. All of my five lessons have paid off. I have now impressed you and the rest of the world, lets go to lunch, I'm starving." He and Tao laughed and started to walk toward the food court. She was in the mood for some Taco Shack burritos, and he wanted to get a sub-sandwhich the size of a horse from Deep Six Subs. That is why they were both in the mall, lots of different types of food and it was close to theirs homes and work.

Tao and Jacob we walking hand in hand when suddenly one of the skylights was shattered and strange monsters fell to the floor. There was total pandamonioum in the mall. The creatures started to attack anything that moved. One went after Tao and Jacob interviened by side-kicking it into a shop. One grabbed Jacob from behind and Tao kicked it between the legs, which brought it to it's knees and she finshed it with a devistating right hook that totally knocked it out.

"We need to get out of here," Tao said into Jacob's ear. He nodded in agreement. Like all the others in the mall, Jacob and Tao started to run for the nearest exit, but with everyone running for an exit, it made it very difficult to get out. "Jacob over there, in Derix Closet. We can hide there untill the rush dies out." Tao ordered as she drug him into the shop. Once they were both in hiding, Tao began to rub her right arm, "I think i broke my hand,"

Jacob gently kissed her hand on the middle knuckle, "Feel better?" he asked. Tao would have responed if not for the monster the came crashing through the window causing her to scream. It took one look at them and attacked. Jacob tried to hold the creature off but this one was expecting an attack, it mearly moved him aside in a rough fasion and went after Tao.

Tao tried to resist but it sent her to the floor where she was waining on the edge of conscienceness. The monster picked up a display case and was about to drop it on her but a voice rang out from behind the monster, "Do not harm her. I can sense great power in this one, bring her to our master." a strange man-pig munant ordered. The first creature tossed the display case aside and grabbed a now unconscience Tao.

"NOOOOOOO!" Jacob yelled going after the thing that had Tao. The half manm half pig looking thing turn and fired a beam of enegry at Jacob sending him through a wall and into the candy store next door. Jacob slumped and stopped moving for just a second. He felt a sruge of power, then a strange voice in his head.

<Get up and go help her. I have given you the power to do so. Defeat the Dirks and use my power to defeat Envious. Jacob!!!! GET UP!!> The mysterious voice commanded.

<Who are you?> Jacob asked the voice.

<I am Psycho Red, my friends and I have been sent to Earth. Do not worry we are not here to distroy the planet but save it, and hopefully ourselves in the prosses. I will tell you the rest later, now go and save your friend.> Red urged.

Jacob picked himself up off the ground and staggered toward a group of what Red called Dirks. Four of then saw him coming and charged Jacob. The first Dirk tried using a front kick to take him out, but Jacob caught the beast's foot and steped over its leg and connected with a devistating spin kick that sent it flying a good ten feet. The second attacked with a spin kick followed by a sweep kick. Jacob, using his newly acquired speed and reflexes, ducked the spin kick and did a back flip to dodge the sweep kick. While in midair, kicked the attacking Dirk, taking it out of the fight.

The other two monsters attacked in syncranazation, both kicking and punching at the same time. This was a new from of attack the caught Jacob totally by suprise. When he blocked one attack the other would connect. This happened five times, before Red chimed in his two cents.

<Before you get totally pounded, try using a midair split kick. If you do it right you might be able to hit both of them in unison.> Red offered

<That's a really good idea. Just one problem ... I don't know how.> Jacob said, rolling his eyes. Red, if he could, rolled his eyes too.

<I have the ability inside me and now that I am a part of you, you have that power too. Use it just look inside.> Red stated.

Jacob searched his mind for what Red was talking about and soon enough found it. The two Dirks were coming for a second round of attacks. Jacob charged and jumped up on to a bench and then into mid air. Once in the air, Jacob performed a flawless split kick that sent the Dirks to the ground. Jacob started to run after Tao's captors who had now imprisoned her inside a piece of quartz. Envious turned and saw Jacob coming for his gift to Deamon, he almost immeadietly shot more blastes at Jacob.

Jacob did a duck and roll to get away from the bolts of enegry. He fealt his right wrist get warm and tingle with enegry. He looked down and saw a trianglular divice on his wrist. He then heard Red's voice in his head. <Morph into the Red Psycho Ranger. Its the only way that you will have enough power to fight off Envious and save Tao.> Jacob nodded to himself and raised the morpher across his chest.

"Psycho Cyclone, Online!" he called out, and pushed the Red button on the morpher. Jacob was englufed in a cyclone of red enegry. Red lightning started to strike Jacob and there was an explousion. Psycho Red was now standing in front of Envious, who was raising his cane already waiting for the fight. Psycho Red took his fighting stance and charged Envious. They became a blur of motion. Each kicking, punching and blocking the other's attacks. Jacob was accessing Red's fighting skills nicely and doing some damege to Envious who's strengh was waining.

"Give it up. You can't take me, no one can take me now!" Jacob roared from behind the mask of the Red Psycho Ranger. "Psycho Sword!" he summoned as the sword appeared in his hand. He pressed his attack now with his sword causing Envious even more pain and suffering.

Envious fell to ground and was hit with a wave of pain. He, oddly enough, started to cackle, "I now have a bit of power over you, now that I have this girl. The next time that we meet, one on one that is, one of us will fall by the others hand." Envious then disappeared in a crack of green enegry.

"Noooo!" Jacob yelled as he ran to the place where Envious disappeared from. Seconds before Jacob could start to mope about losing Tao, Red's voice rang out from one of the coners of his mind, <The others are in trouble and they need your help. I can tell that you are hurting and that you need to deal with the pain, but i must ask you to hold on and help my friends.> Red asked.

Jacob started to have malcious feelings toward the spirit. "I will help you and vent my frustrations all at the same time, just tell me where to go!" He said out loud with out thinking. Red became temperealy quite, then said <Out those doors to our left and strait into the nearby park.>

<Right.> Jacob said and charged out the doors and into the open air.

"Well now what?" Jamie said without thinking.

<I don't know, Jamie. But one thing that we must do is wait for the real Red to arrive and help us. Wait a second ... the real Red has found a vessal. I can't quite tell where he is but i think that he is on his way.> Black informed the rest of the Psychos.

<"Time to take the offencive!"> Jeromy and Blue said at the same time. Briana and Cabel stepped in his way.

"Are you retarded or something? If we keep attacking to the front, we're just going to get pounded again and again. We need some type of plan." Cabel said looking into Yellow's mind for some type of answer.

"I'm going to agree with Cabel on this, we need a plan." Briana said then wispering in Cabel's ear, "You run to the left and me to the right. Do a full 180 on where we are at now. Fire you weapon and lets hope that can keep him busy untill these two can figure out what we are doing. Alright?"

"Right!" Cabel said as she stood up and summoned the Psycho Slinger. Briana had already gotten her Psycho Bow. Both started firing and runnning in the oppisite direction.

Psycho Shadow was almost perplexed, woundering what could have caused such a change in their attitude. Before he could do to much thinking on the topic, he was dodging a barge of attacks. He was able to deflect some of the blasts with his katana, but most scored their mark.

Jeromy and Jamie were charging Psycho Shadow and started to punch and kick. He went flying back and landed in a heap.

<I think that they should try our optical blast. Its the only thing that will allow us to keep out distance.> Pink said to the other Psychos.

<We were lucky that we were able to summon our weapons, for something like that i think that all five of us have to be present. But I can think of anything else myself, so lets try it. Inform our human counterparts.> Black said. The Psychos told their new friends what they were planing, and they agreed.

The four rangers lined up shoulder to shoulder, raise their right hand to their eyes and thrust their hand foward and shot a couple of light blasts. Psycho Shadow was bearly affected, but affected just the same. He stared to pull himself up off the ground when an explouson of red smoke and silver fire erupted. Deamon appeared standing next to Shadow.

"So all five have found vessals, Balcifer will not be pleased. Dirks appear and attack. As for you, Psycho Shadow, more power for you so you can defeat this rag-tag team of wannabe rangers." Deamon cackled as the Dirks appeared. He hit Shadow with a bolt of dark lightning then, just as aburptly appeared, disappeared in a blast of silver fire and red smoke.

"Now rangers, what is you plan? I am now at full strengh and you are getting ever weaker. DIRKS ATTACK!" Shadow exclamied.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" A voice called out. In a blur of motion half of the Driks were face down in the grass. A figure was standing ten feet behind Shadow, in the shade of a grove of some trees. Shadow turned and saw Psycho Red. The rest of the rangers were all releaved, as well as the Psychos who were happy to see their leader and constant friend. "This time its just you and me, freak! Oh, and by the way, nice try in impersonaiting me, but there is nuthing better than the original." Jacob said where just Shadow could hear him.

Both raised their swords and charged at the other. The swords connected with such force that sparks came from both weapons. They started to swing with such force that the shock waves were knocking down the Dirks that were near by. Jacob kicked Shadow in the stomach and yelled to the others, "Well just dont stand there kick some butt already!"

They all nodded and charge after the rest of the Dirks. The fight was four on fifteen. Jamie, Briana, and Jeromy each took on four Dirks and Cabel took on the last three. After seeing Psycho Red's return, the rest of the team was fighting with a renewed strengh and easily dispatch the Dirks.

Psycho Red and Psycho Shadow spent the five minutes that the others took wiping out the Driks trading punches and kicks of the most brutal nature. Shadow kicked Red with such force that he fell into the others and all hit the ground.

"Well now what, oh, fearless leader?" Jamie and Cabel said at the same time. Braina and Jeromy looked at one another and shruged. Jacob asked Red really fast, then Red asked the others Psychos.

"Red says to try the Psycho Barge again its the only hope." Jacob informed the others.

"Pink is asking about the 'Jaden Enegry Bolt'. Whatever that is?" Braina said to the others.

"To risky. It drew power form Dark Specter who is now dead. Where with all the enegry come from?" Cabel asked.

Jeromy started to say something, but was interrupted by Jamie, "You heard, Red, line up for the Psycho Barge and lets finish this creep once and for all."

Once more, but this time with Red on their side, the Psychos lined up for the Psycho Barge. Jamie, using the Psycho Staff grabed Shadow and raised him in the air and nailed him with a ton of enegry.

Jeromy, with the Psycho Axe, came spining out of no where and plowed into Shadow, missing Jamie by two inches. Shadow was wounded and on the ground. Jamie and Jormy dropped to one knee and held the Psycho Staff.

Briana and Cabel ran up, stepped up on Jeromy's and Jamie's knees then up on to the Psycho Staff and lept into the air and began to fire their weapons. Shadow was covered in little explousions and was bearly able to stand.

Jacob charged strait into Shadow, his sword glowing red with enegry. With on quick slash across the stomach, Shadow fell to the dirt and explouded. All that was left was a pile of ashes. The team cheered and exchanged high-five. The celebration was cut short by a wave of silver fire and red smoke.

"Your first victory, I honor you as the warriors that you are, but, that was a very week atempt on my part to capture you. The rest will get harder and harder and harded. I will let you in on a secret; you may never be able to balance out the cosmic scale and then you and the Psychos both will be in the hand of my lord, the great Balcifer." Deamon said with a chuckle. With that said Deamon left just as soon as he came.
