As a writer I constantly crave feed back. Normally I don't do fan fiction mainly because I'm using charactors that have already been established. But this idea came to me and I felt compelled to write it. But before I devote the time to write this very long fic I'd like a little feed back on the prologue. Also the title is pending.
Disclamer: I do not own Power Rangers in any way shape or form. If I did the show would probably be better. Power Rangers is owned by Disney and Produced by VRP.
Prologue
No greater fighting force is better known then the Power Rangers of earth. Seemingly at first they where a group of five teenagers selected by random chance. A jock, a nerd, a dancer, a gymnast, and a martial artist. Five friends sent on the adventure of a life time. Through hardship and struggle they became a force to be reckoned with. Then a sixth member was added, and then lost, added and lost once again. Only to be placed as leader of the team. After that three of the core members left to team to peruse a dream of world peace. They where replaced with three other teens and where quickly excepted. And once more a core member left and was replaced with a former enemy placed under a spell.
Then a greater evil arose and new powers where needed, the result a long time member was reduced to a tech. But even then they came through. Beating the odds and adding an old member to the ranks only to loose him, as well as another member. Only to be replaced as well. Eventually this team was replaced again by four teens once more. And again through many battles the team triumphed. But victory was fleeting, the rangers soon faced their darkest hour. The original ranger's long time mentor had been captured, the power chamber and zords destroyed. So the rangers set their course for Eltare in hopes of saving the galaxy.
And these former rangers encountered another. Drawn together with a common goal they fought bravely against impossible odds. Some times winning, some times loosing. Some times no clear winner could be seen. But always the rangers had hope and their friendship. And in the end that prevailed, the rangers won the war, evil had been eradicated from the universe and a time of peace was upon us.
That was the way things should have been in every reality. But reality is just that, cold and uncaring. The reality that we all know was the happier side, the one that is true is much more darker. The players much more cold. The Rangers we knew always had friendship to bind them. The Rangers you are going to know have no such thing. In this world friendship is fleeting, and almost impossible. When the whole world is cold and doesn't care about the future, can rangers who feel the same way bring hope? Can they actually achieve the task of saving the world, in a universe where nothing is as it seems? Or will they fail and the world will be left in darkness.
