Awile back somebody had a great idea for a fanfic: Ninjetti Storm
Now the idea is back, but with a new twist....
The story itself takes place sometime after the Rangers aquired the Mammoth Zord..

Some things never changed...
The ocean forever lapped against the sandy shore.
The sun continued to rise and set..
Time went on...
Heros were born, and later were forgotten, the evils they defeated, no more.
Villains and their vices were long since buried..
And a new generation, battling new threats, had arisen.
But what if the evils of today, were to join with the evils of the past?
What if one dark remnant of an old forgotten evil yet remained?
Prolouge....
It was the middle of a stormy and dark night. All of Man knew that such a night was better spent indoors. Yet the shrouded figure walking the narrow stretch of abandoned beach neither knew of, nor cared for such warnings.
The Dark figure quietly withdrew from the rain-filled landscape into a lone cave long ago carved into the cliffside by forces of wind and erosion.
The cave's interior was larger than it's exterior suggested, but it seemed to make little difference, for the dark being made his way into the cave just the same.
Making its way to the back of the cave, the dark figure brushed off a layer of dust and grime, revealing what appeared to be a golden coffin of some sort.
"At last I have found it! The Vault of Power, the last link to the Morphing Grid is now mine!" The Figure exclaimed to itself, then removed its dark clothing reveiling a comely women with asian features, golden armor, and a curved sword.
The Women's lipps curved into a smile, and she proudly exclaimed..
"Soon the people of Earth will bow before the might of SCORPINA!"

The business at Storm Surfers was usually much more lively, to say the least. Today however, Shane and Dustin had counted maybe one or two customers tops.
Not that either of them could blame anyone.
It was not a nice day outside to say the least. The sky was covered from horizen to horizen with dark, grey clouds, and the insuing rain didn't seem to be letting up anytime soon...
"Man the weather sucks" Dustin said, hoping to break the depressing silence with alittle conversation.
"Yeah" Shane said absent-minded-ly, continueing his work.
The silence lingered for awile longer, until the door chime ringed, indecating that a customer had entered the store.
Hoping for a break in his boredom, Dustin walked over to the cash register, expecting to see a paying customer. Instead, Dustin saw a rain-soaked and very annoyed looking Tory.
"Can't argue with the power of water" Dustin joked
"Very funny Dustin" Tory said
"Well Tory, whats up" Dustin asked
"Nothing really, I was just really bored, so I decided to come here to see what you guys were up to." Tory said
"The usual, taking stock of our surfing and motocross items, vacuuming, that sort of stuff" Dustin said
"You'd almost wish Lothor would attack just to livin things up" Tory said with a slight smile
"Listen Tory, ah, we'll be out of work in alittle over half an hour, would you like to head over to Ninja Ops to see what Cam and Sensei are up to?" Dustin asked.
"Yeah sure, but what do you expect me to do until then?" Tory said
"You could help us cleanup" Shane chimed in
"Alright fine" Tory said
In orbit over Earth.......Lothor's starship
General Zurgane paced the throneroom. He was bored...As well as disgusted at his master and "co-workers".
Lothor had one of the universe' greatest warriors on his side, and did he ever send him, the Great Zurgane, down to battle the rangers, or listen to any of Surgane's strategies which had conquered worlds in the past? No! Lothor relied on incompetant underlings and monsters in his attempt to destroy the Rangers.
"Lothor is a fool, pure and simple. He couldn't defeat three Rangers, let alone six." Zurgane said to himself
"Then why don't you attack the Rangers yourself? Why put up with an incompitant baffoon like Lothor?" An unfamilier voice said from the shadows.
"Who's there!" Zurgane said angrily, and quickly drew his twin shoulder mounted swords.
"Relax, I am not your enemy. I believe you may find me and my mistress to be excellilent allies." The voice said
"Show yourself!" Zurgane said, annoyed.
"Come to these cowardinants and we can meet face to face." The voice said, then revealed a blue, clawed hand which tossed a small note unto the floor.
"Wait!" Zurgane said
But the messenger was gone....
Zurgane kneeled down and picked up the small piece of parcement the mysteryious visiter had dropped..
On the note was written a location, and a messenger, which Zurgane proceded to read aloud.
"Come and embrace your true destiny. Signed, Scorpina."

Ninja Ops.....
The Dustin, Shane and Tory entered the hidden waterfall entrance to the sacred headquaters of the Ninja Storm Power Rangers to find Cam occupied with the Storm Central Computer.
Although Cam had become a Ranger himself, he still remained the team's computer expert and troublesolver.
"I was just about to call you guys" Cam said
"Is something unusual going on Cam" Tory asked
"Yes, as a matter of fact there is. I've been getting some strange readings lately which seemed to be centered around a cave somewhere on the east beach. " Cam said
"Lothor?" Shane asked
"No Shane, I would know if Lothor's foul pressence had arrived on earth" Sensei's tiny form chimed in.
"If it isn't Lothor, than who could it be?" Dustin asked
"Thats why we'd like you guys to check it out. I'll be here as backup if you need it" Cam said
"Alright guys, ready?" Shane said
"Ninja Storm, Ranger Form!"
(Ninja Storm Ranger Morphing Sequence)
The three original Ninja Storm Rangers arrived, via Tsuanami Cycle, at an lone cave overlooking the ocean.
"This place doesn't look like much." Dustin said
"Hello Rangers" A familiar voice said
The Rangers turned to see the massive black and red form of Surgane, armed with both swords, slowly coming towards them.
"What are you doing here?" Tory said
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Surgane said
"Admiring the seaside scenery?" Dustin joked
"Insolent Ranger! I quit Lothor's forces and now I'm going to show you what a true Space Ninja warrior can do!" Zurgane said, then fired a bolt of energy from the tip of his swords towards the Rangers, who barely managed to dodge it.
Zurgane then leaped into the air and attempted to slash Shane with one of his swords.
Shane blocked the attack with his own sword, and countered with a kick to Zurgane's chest.
Dustin and Tory then leapt briefly onto Shane's shoulders, then flipped towards Zurgane and slashed him across the chest.
"Thats enough Zurgane" A feminine voice said.
Everyone present looked upward to see the golden armored form of Scorpina.
"Whos she?" Dustin asked
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this" Shane said
"Fools, I am Scorpina, and the future ruler of this planet!" Scorpina said
"Weird name" Dustin said
"Silence fools!" Scorpina said, then with a wave of her hand, Scorpina send a boomerang shaped beam of energy colliding with the three stunned Ninja Storm Rangers.
The three Rangers demorphed, and landed unconsious on the sand.
"Most impressive, who exactly are you" Zurgane asked
"There seems their is much knowledge that this generation of evil
is lacking." Scorpina said
"What do you mean?" Zurgane asked
"I blame Zordon personally, now with the United Allaince of Evil destroyed the" Scorpina started
"I don't know who you are but you have some nerve" A familiar voice said
"Those three are friends of ours lady, and your gonna pay for blasting them like that!"
The forms of Blake and Hunter, fully morphed, appeared on the scene.
"Why didn't you two show up with your friends here, aren't Rangers supposed to operate in teams of at least five?" Scorpina said
Blake and Hunter simply looked at each other and shrugged.
"I second that" Cam, the Green Samurai Ranger said, arriving on the scene.
"Good, now I can destroy all of you at once" Scorpina said, then lifted her sword and leapt into the fray.
Both Thunder Rangers and the Samurai Ranger drew their swords and parried a series of powerful strikes from Scorpina, then attempted blows of their own, only to be met with futility when Scorpina delivered a fierce kick to the chests of all three Rangers.
The Rangers quickly recovered from the blow.
"This monster's alot tougher than Lothor's usual" Blake said as he and Hunter summoned their signiture weapons and combined them into the Thunder Blaster.
"You think your pathitic toys can stop me?" Scorpina said, amused.
"Not alone they can't" Shane said
Scorpina turned her attention to the direction the voice came from and saw the Red, Yellow and Blue Ninja Storm Rangers back up, morphed, and armed with their combined weapon.
Both the Wind and Thunder rangers launched their combined firepower at Scorpina, expecting a tremendus explosion. Instead, the monstrious arachnid form of an enlarged, and transformed Scorpina greeted them.
"Amazing, she didn't use a scroll of impowerment in order to grow" Zurgane mused
"Looks like our troubles just got a whole lot bigger" Zhane said
"And unglier too" Tory said
"Ninja Zords" Tory, Dustin and Shane said
"Thunder Zords" Blake and Hunter said
The two sets of zords quickly combined into the Storm Power and Thunder Megazords, and approached the monstrious form of Scorpina.
Scorpina didn't waste any time, and charged the two megazords.
Scorpina slamed the chest of the Storm Power Megazord with her right claw, then clawed the Thunder Megazord when it attempted to attack from behind.
"Guys this isn't working" Blake said
The Storm Power Megazord attempted to blast Scorpina with the dolphin blaster, but instead found itself clawed a total of five times by Scorpina.
"Shes way two fast!" Tory said
"Lightning Mode" Shane said
Before the command could be completed, the Rangers found themselves teleported back to Ninja Ops.
"Whats going on?" Hunter said in confusion
"I sensed massive amounts of energy coming from the monster you were fighting. It is likely that the Zords could have been badly damaged if the fight had dragged on." Sensei said
"We didn't even use the Thunderstorm Megazord, let alone the Hurricane Megazord or Ultrazord!" Blake said
"There was no time to combine the zords guys" Cam said
"She said something about being the future ruler of this planet. That doesn't sound like something one of Lothor's monsters would say" Tory said
"A very astute observation Tory." Sensei said, then Cam called for the others in an alarmed sounding voice.
"Guys, Scorpina's back, and shes destroying down town Blue Bay.
"Lothors never attacked the city before." Dustin said, fear beginning to find their way into a topic that only moments before had seemed like it was little more than a game.
"Lothor may be a wicked ninja, but he still follows the rules of the Ninja, one of which is never to attack those not connected to your enemies." Sensei said
"So that means whoever this Scorpina lady is, shes not working for Lothor at all." Shane said
"We have to stop her before she hurts those people!" Tory said
"I'll have the Thunderstorm Megazord formed for battle where Scorpina can't get interupt the transformation process, get going, I'll meet you with the Samurai Star Megazord shortly" Cam said
