Would anyone be interested if i made a discussion board for my fan fics? or maybe just one of those yahoo groups like DiamondX does for Solar X...or maybe just a mass email once a week or something.

Do you mean you will stop posting here and move to a private group? If so, I think that's a bad idea because it limits the number of people who can "stumble across" your work like I and most of us have. ^_^

As for making a board for discussion...If anyone else on here said that I would tell them their ego is in for a bruising...but in your case it might work. Although people can reply and comment about your work on here and through e-mail well enough, and your webpage does archive things....

I guess the question is, what would making such a group contribute to you and your readers that is not currently available to them? :-/

Like D-Ranger said, it depends on how you use it. I have a Yahoo Group for my series, but only use it to tell subscribers when I update.
