On my bootleg Abaranger DVD Boxset on episode 15 after the bumper, 15mins was missing from the episode.

Anyone else have this problem? Also anyone know if it is the same way on the single version of the DVD?

Who does know that it's always a risk when buying bootlegs

Hey shifty did you buy them from a guy with the username mixcity or something like that. I bought that box set also and had the exact same problem. Is it the episode that deals with Yukito dealing with his father and the demons? I emailed the guy I bought them from and he said i could send him back the disc and he would replace it but i decided not to cuz its only 1/2 an episode

No I didn't....so it must be a problem w/ all the disks then. At least it was only 15mins in one episode.

I have only watched the first dvd, which is the first four episodes, i will check tonite and see, by the way how much did you pay for the box set? I only paid $12 + $4 s/h. Also, these dvd's have the time up in the corner, the hurricanger dvd's i have (Vol 1,2,3) don't have this. Do the single release aba dvd's have the time as well? I will say this, i really love these bootleg dvd's, the subtitles are good, so i can understand what the heck is going on. Too bad they don't release earlier sentai shows like this.

I dont think the Hurricanger ones are bootlegs because they have lots of extras and the quality is excellent. You can tell the abaranger ones are bootlegs though becase of the crappier quality and the time in the corner. Does any one know if the Hurricanger ones are officially released or are they just a very well done bootleg

The HK DVD's don't do that normally. That is a rare exception.

Yeah, well for some of us, buying Bootleg DVD's are the only way we get to see the original Sentai or Anime episodes we love.

Like I said eariler though, Bootlegs are always a crapshoot. Sometimes the picture goes bad, or sometimes the subtitiles are horrid. Only problem I really had was that 15mins left out of episode 15. I could deal w/ the time encoding on the screen (and usually didn't notice it after awhile).

And I think I paid about $20 shipped from HK to get it.

the hurricanger HK's are ripped from the Official Toei DVD's that why there dam excellent while the abaranger ones are TV-ripped.

Plus all Volume 3's have the missing ep i have it aswell :( but i will be seeing i can create a subbed ep of that ep
