How do I get statred?

man i see all u guys doing these fics and it made me wanna make one but not sure where to start. i have a basic idea for the pr team but dont exactly know how to actually do it. any advice would be helpful.

The simple truth is, you just do it.

And it will probably suck.

So, you do it again.

And again until it doesn't suck.

And then you post it here. ^_^

The difference between writers and non-writers is that writers actually sit down and write while non-writers just sit and think about it.

But, if you need a little help remember this: PR is a formula show, bad guys appear,

"Oh no! It's Lord X!"

good guys appear,

"Yay! The XXX Rangers!"

they fight and they give speeches,

"In the name of XXXX of XXXXX, we will defeat you!"

and then the bad guys retreat.

"Curses! I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you kids and that darned Zord!"

That is the formula this show is based on, and most fanfics are based on it too, at least the simpler ones. Just slot your characters into that formula and try it, and see how it comes out.

So true... the first thing I wrote was aweful... Every now and then something good comes along.

But seriously, also read a lot. It makes a difference.

True - make it a point to write a little each day.

yeah. when you get one fan fic under your belt.... then try changing the formula. now that's a challenge.
