Over planet Earth, where peace and good is ever restored by the Power Rangers, a black hole opens. Red thunder blast out of the black hole in space, followed by a huge space ship. The space ship looks to be 20 miles wide and is decorated by alien markings. The space ship enters Earth's atmosphere, ingulfed by entry fire. Over the pacific ocean, it lands in the sea, casting an endless stream of steam spreading for miles. The space ship sets in the ocean becoming an island like structure. A large dark cloud forms over the 'new' island. Red thunder strikes and the water around the island becomes violently rapid.

The interior looks of the old chinese dynasty's in their best years. In a large chamber, a throne twelve feet high and nine feet wide centers the room. Seated in the throne, is a red skinned being with a heavy silver exo-skeleton. In his right hand is a seven foot staff with a large bladed 'Z' on the tip. A silver 'Z' is embedded in his chest. This is God Zedd, father of the ex-evil Lord Zedd. He looks into a floating crystal, it shows Power Ranger teams defeating monsters.

The Aero Rangers flying in their Aerial Zords after a victory, the Samurai Force Rangers posing as a monster explodes behind them, and the Daytona Rangers defeating yet another on of PegLeg's monsters.

The vain-like tubes around God Zedd glow a ghastly red as his visor trickles with red sparks. He forms a fist with his left hand, glowing red blood drips from the fist.

God Zedd: "Power Rangers. Those candy colored do-gooders with their weapons and zords. Ever since Zordon formed that team of babies it seems every end of the universe just has to have a set of Rangers. Making it difficult for the dark world to exist. To do what is their living right; to destroy."

God Zedd, alone in the chamber, stands with staff in hand. Red electricity trickles from feet to head. He sees something else in the crystal, a flying object, moving fast. He grips his staff.

God Zedd: "Even now, a foolish ranger comes to pest me. Unknowing that I can eradicate him in an instant. But what would it mean? There'll be more. There's always more. But what if, there were no more rangers? How will the world be protected? That's it..."

God Zedd hastely walks toward a smaller chamber housing a 3D map simulator.

God Zedd: "Map, show me... The whereabouts of the Morphing Grid!"

Inside the Land Bomber Arial Zord, Frank, the Red Aero Ranger jets toward 'Zedd Island'. He performs arial twists and dives to avoid the lightning bolts.

Frank: "This is Aero Red to Ranger Point, come in; the 'thing' that fell outta the sky is set in the ocean like an island. You're right, Sheldon, it's almost 20 miles wide, tall as a New York building. I'm gonna circle it a couple of times, it already looks like bad news."

The Land Bomber Arial Zord begins to circle the base of Zedd island. Out of the black clouds a thunder bolt strikes the Zord and suspends it in mid air. The Arial Zord is held in place by the thunder bolt. Frank press dials and pushes the thrusters full power. He couldn't push himself a single foot.

Frank: "Come in Ranger Point, I'm stuck in place by some type of red thunder. Ranger Point? ...Great. What the heck is that..?"

In front of Frank's Zord is a projection of God Zedds face. His voice makes Frank's Zord rumble.

God Zedd: "Listen Ranger! You are in the presence of God Zedd! I will grant you the gift of living if you deliver a message to nine other red rangers!"

Frank: "The gift of living? Nine red rangers? Power Rangers don't deal with no Zedd!! How about you go back to where you came before we go megazord on your metallic face!"

God Zedd: "Such a mouth on such an insignificant action figure! Do you even know who you are dealing with?! Even now, you waste of reality, I have the very basis of your power in my hand!"

Zedd's face was switched into a projection of his hand. The hand opens to reveal a shining star like sphere. As Frank took a closer look at it, the shine went away. As he looked even closer, he seen that it was a grid sphere. Frank took one more close look. And either through instinct, or faith, he believed God Zedd had the entire Morphing Grid in his hand. God Zedd's face returned to view.

God Zedd: "I can end the legacy of the Power Rangers forever right now. But I believe in a fighting chance, even if you all are humorously out powered by me. I'll let you live to collect nine other red rangers. Tell no other ranger of this, I better not see any other color!! Now leave my sight, red ranger!!"

The thunder releases the Arial Zord and Frank immediately takes a shot at the floating projection, but it dissappears. Frank flies off, away from Zedd Island. As Frank jetted away, Zedd Island became translucent and covered with dark clouds. Frank flipped dials in his Zord.

Frank: "Ranger Point, Aero Red here. Ranger Point we have a problem."

In Ranger Point, the base of the Aero Power Rangers, Sheldon, the Green Aero Ranger, quickly replies Frank's call.

Sheldon: "What happened to you?! We lost contact for about..."
Frank: "Sheldon, I need to contact Billy right now."

Sheldon: "I'll patch you through to the Crystal Rangers. What's up with the meteor?"

Frank: "It's no meteor. Sheldon, it's important that you contact Billy only. The other Crystal Rangers can't be invovled. 'You' can't be involved after you pitch the message. Trust me on this one.

Sheldon: "You're patched through."

Billy's face appeared in Frank's dash board screen.

Billy: "What's up, Frank?"

Frank: "Meet me in Miami Beach tonight, we got something big on our hands."

Billy: "...Our hands?"

Frank: "And eight others, man. It's a red ranger thing. I'll fill you in later, I gotta surf the Power Ranger Archives back at Ranger Point."

Billy: "What's up? Seriously?"

Frank: "All I know is the 'power' in Power Rangers is at stake. Later, man. Aero Red out."

Billy: "Crystal Red out. Later."

Frank jets toward Ranger Point. In the Crystal Arena, Billy wonders what Frank meant. Inside Zedd Island, God Zedd sits in his throne. If he had a mouth, he'd smile.

God Zedd: "Let the entertainment begin!"

Billy, the Red Crystal Ranger, waits patiently on the beach. The full moon basking the sand a pale blue. He talks into his Ruby Ring,

Billy: "Crystal Arena come in; contact Ranger Point and tell 'em...

All of a sudden a huge red jet passes over, and Frank, unmorphed, dives to the beach. Billy cancels his request and walks toward Frank. The Land Bomber Arial Zord lands quietly on the sea side. As Billy and Frank shake hands, someone is watching from the darkness. A man in a black leather coat and black shades. He talks into a watch like wrist item,

Man in Shades: "This is C.F. Red, I see the Red Aero and Crystal Rangers. This maybe true after all. I'm reporting back to base.

Before Frank could say a word, he notices movement in some bushes. He and Billy look in that direction and see nothing.

Frank: "Must be a dog or something. Anyway, this is a serious situation. There's a guy named God Zedd that wants me collect a bunch of Red Rangers."

Billy: "...God Zedd; never heard of him. Why does he want red rangers?"

Frank: "He didn't tell me. One thing's for sure, he has the Morphing Grid in his hands, ready and willing to destroy it."

Billy: "The Morphing Grid in his hands? That's impossible, the 'Grid isn't something that can be held! Maybe he's playing some trick on you."

Frank: "I know what I saw, man. He held it front of me long enough to see it. In its fullness and all. He's not playing any game."

Billy: "Alright then, how are we gonna gather red rangers?"

Frank: "I did some studying back in Ranger Point. In the Ranger Archives I found eight other Red Rangers that might be available. I printed the list right here..."

As Frank pulled out the list, a harsh wind came apon them. Then red thunder blasted area's around Billy and Frank. A projection of God Zedd's face appeared over the beach like a movie screen. The pale blue moon-light was converted to a pale red hue. God Zedd's face look toward Billy and Frank.

God Zedd: "I see you've already began, little red ranger. I suggest you work a little faster, my patience isn't my best attribute. Nore is my kindness, ha ha ha!"

Billy: "What do you want with red rangers?!"

God Zedd: "Easy there, you don't wanna make stern demands with me..!"

God Zedd's hand appeared to show the Morphing Grid gripped. His face returned, laughing.

God Zedd: "If you must know, you fraction of nothing, I am tired of you rangers. Always interupting in the plans of evil. If I got involved long ago, your world would be destroyed ten times over. But I allowed 'followers' to take a try, even my only son. Who, if I'm not mistaken, was horribly purified by the death of that fool Zordon! And what happened, NOTHING!! No matter what the case, Power Rangers are here to fight us. Be it Aero, Zeo, Mythic Strike, Wind Academy, Lightspeed whatever, they all thwart the schemes of the most powerful regimes!! And they are mostly lead by the leadership of a Red Ranger.

Frank begins to understand God Zedd's dark request. Billy listens on.

God Zedd: "With the very basis of the Power Rangers in the palm of my hand, I announce a Red Ranger Tournament!"

Frank and Billy are shocked.

Billy: "A tournament? You want a bunch of red rangers to fight each other! And let me guess, you'll destroy the 'Grid if we don't go with it?"

God Zedd: "You are truely as smart as another annoying ranger named Billy. My son told me horrible stories about his team."

Billy: "Well I don't know 'that' Billy, but what's stopping you from destroying the 'Grid even after we all fight?!"

Frank: "Yeah?!"

God Zedd: "It's simple, the winner of the final round will get the blessing of facing me. And the only chance to save the power of current and future teams to come. Ofcourse, the thought of me being defeated by a power ranger is silly. But where's the fun in that ha haaa!"

Frank whispers to Billy,

Frank: "I think we gotta do it his way for now, it is the only way to get close to him."

Billy: "Fine, but the balls too far in his court."

Frank: "Look at it this way; ten red rangers in on the situation is better than two. Let's do it, let's get some rangers."

Frank turns to God Zedd.

Frank: "We'll collect the Red Rangers. We'll need time, some of them may not believe us."

God Zedd: "Then I suggest you get the story straight and clear, red ranger! You will all meet here on this beach when you're through. Then I will take you to my strong hold."

In a ball of red thunder, God Zedd dissappears. Frank rips the Red Ranger list in half and hands one to Billy.

Frank: "You get whoever's on your list. Five a piece."

Frank heads over to his Zord. He turns back,

Frank: "Good luck, man."

Billy: "Don't worry about me."

As Frank boards his Zord and jets off, Billy looks at his list. After a moment, he teleports leaving a trail of red glitter. Running on the beach was a man dressed in black leather. He looks around the area.

Man in Shades: "Cyber Force Base come in, this is Henry. I'm late. The rangers are gone, and so's the disturbance you guys picked up. I need an essence tracker, now."

In a moment a small cell phone like device appears in his hand. He turns it on and through it's screen he can see the trail of Frank's Arial Zord and Billy's teleporting trail.

Henry: "I'm gonna track them both. Keep me posted. And hack into the Ranger Point main frame, I think there may be something of interest pertaining to the situation."

Radio Voice: "I already did; there's been quite some surfing in their Power Ranger Archives. Lots of Red Ranger names came out."

Henry: "Alright, print me a copy. I wanna get in this more. Cyber Red out."

Henry puts his Wrist-Com away. He takes another look around, and walks off. His leather coat blows in the beach wind.

The Land Bomber Arial Zord arrives in East Pittsburgh. Frank lands it in wide field area, uncaring as to who sees it. Frank steps out looking at his list.

Frank: "Ok, Scotty, where would you be right now?"

Frank looks around. All of a sudden a young man runs up to Frank.

Young Man: "You shouldn't be here! Get outta here now!"

He moves Frank to the side and runs back from where he came. Frank decides to follow him slowly. From around the corner he sees the young man fighting some sort of creature. The creature gets the upper hand, and Frank reaches for his Morphing Badge. The young man used advanced evasive tactics until he got a good distance from the creature.

Young Man: "You asked for it! Samuraize!"

The young man morphed into the Red Samurai Force Ranger. Frank looked at his sheet once more,

Frank: "Scott Medwick, Samurai Force. Nice suit."

The Red Samurai Force Ranger battled the creature to a stand still. The creature fired strange balls of fire at the ranger. The Red Ranger dodged and the fire came Frank's way. The Red Ranger turned to see the fireball slam into Franks direction! He pulls out his Samurai Sword.

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "That was an innocent! You'll pay for that by the honor of a Samurai!"

Before he moved toward the creature a Red Ranger jumpped out of the fire. The Red Aero Ranger lands beside the Red Samurai Force Force Ranger.

Red Aero Ranger: "Almost deep fried! Don't mind me, do what you're doing."

The Red Samurai Force Ranger did just that and attacked the monster. He sliced it with Samurai precision and turned to pose as the monster fell to peices and exploded (Samurai Force theme music plays). The Red Aero Ranger approached the Red Samurai Force Ranger.

Red Aero Ranger: "Nice job. I'm Frank Perez, of the Aero Rangers."

Frank powers down to show Scott his identity. Scott followed suit and powered down. Sally Joe, the Yellow Samurai Force Ranger, came running.

Sally: "Am I late? Did you get the monster?"

Scott: "I got the thing. This guy is Frank; Red Aero Ranger."

Sally: "Hi. Always good to see another ranger."

Scott: "Except I don't know why he's shown up."

Frank: "I'm sorry, it's a Red Ranger thing. She can't hear the details. I'll take you to a secluded spot in my Arial Zord."

Scott: "Very well. I'll be alright Sally."

Scott kisses Sally before she walks off (Funny note: Frank's girlfriend in Aero is also a Yellow Ranger by sheer coincidence). She watches them leave in the Land Bomber Arial Zord.

Billy teleported to a town where a soccer game is playing. He approaches the soccer field getting into the crowd. He hears the announcer,

Announcer: "And here comes our star player, Brian Peterson!"

The crowd goes crazy for Brian. Billy remembers that Brian Peterson is the Red Daytona Ranger on his list. He wonders how to get him out of the game.

Meanwhile, Brian's dribbling the soccer ball down the field while five opposing team members chase him. He looks for a team mate down the field, but he out ran them all. He kicks the ball high into the air, straight up actually. He stands there while the opposing team caught up to him. As the ball came back down, all of the five opposing players jumpped for a head butt, but Brian came out highest with a backflip kick. The ball flies toward the goal, where the goalie wasn't fast enough to block it.

The crowd went wild for Brian. A buzzer sounded and fans crowded Brian. Billy pushed through most of the fans and got to Brian. He extended a piece of paper to him.

Brian: "I don't do the autograph thing."

Billy even still passed the paper to Brian. Brian opened it and read to himself. He looked at Billy, then the crowd.

Brian: "My team members did just as much work as me, go smuther them!"

The crowd laughed and spread to other members. Brian went to Billy,

Brian: "Is this true?"

Billy: "All of it."

Brian: "Then let's slip thru the crowd."

Billy: "I don't think they'll let you."

Brian: "Oh that's easy, I just put my face low and take off my jersey. I'll slip right through 'em. I do it all the time."

Billy: "...Morphinominal."

In an open road far away, the Maroon Dino Strike Ranger rides his Carno-Cycle. Along side him is the Red Aero Ranger flying in his Aero Jet Pack. They seem to be racing down the road. The Maroon Dino Strike Ranger looks to his side. He revs up his Carno-Cycle but only matches the Aero Jet Pack. The Red Aero Ranger yells,

Red Aero Ranger: "Alright, alright! Your bike can go as fast as my Jet Pack!"

The two speed demons come to a halt. The Maroon Dino Strike Ranger powers down into Rico Scott, while Frank powers down.

Rico: "So I came up in some sort've Power Ranger yahoo search and you're here to recruit me, right. Well count me in. It's our duty to protect, right? Even if our own powers are at stake."

Frank: "Well said. Um, can I try your cycle?."

Rico: "Can I see your jet pack?"

Frank: "Race to my Arial Zord?"

Rico: "Let's do it!"

The rangers morph and race down the road in each others vehicles. kicking up dirt twelve feet high.

Inside an abandoned building, Christopher Pearce, the Red Zodiac Ranger, examines his wrist mounted morpher. Billy and Brian watches impatiently.

Chris: "...And this switch here doesn't 'have' to be pressed. If I say 'Zodiac Power Activate' in a clear tone, I'll morph without pressing it."

Brian: "When we laughed at your Sheep Zord, that didn't really mean you had to tell us 'all' about the Zodiac Powers."

Billy: "Wait, wait, this is the best part. Zodiac Power, Activate!"

Christopher morphs into the Red Zodiac Ranger. He starts flipping around and poses. It pulls out his Tiger Sabre,

Red Zodiac Ranger: "It's important that you swing away from your left side..."

Billy: "This is what happens when you give a kid a morpher."

Brian: "Still better than Justin."

Billy: "...Who?"

Frank arrives at Garnett Sands High School. School is just letting out, and Frank finds it frustrating to find a Red Ranger through an after school crowd. He looks at his list,

Frank: "Kimlee Miller, a girl huh? Must be a glitch, she could be a Pink or Yellow Ranger who know's a Red Ranger."

Frank looks around. He sees a sea of girls. Any one could be Kimlee. He decides to simplify his situation. He climbs on top of a portable, eyes the crowd once more, and yells,

Frank: "Kimlee!! Kimlee Miller!! I love you, come back to me!!!"

A group of girls take notice. One girl out of the pack moves forward with her hand over her mouth. One of her friends approach her.

Girlfriend: "Kimlee, you never told us about 'him'.

Girlfriend 2: "Yeah, who is he?"

Kimlee: "I have no idea."

Frank sees the group of girls talking to one. He assumes his resolve worked and climbed down the portable. He goes to Kimlee, who isn't very happy.

Frank: "You don't know me, but it's very important that you take me to a friend of yours."

Kimlee: "I don't know you to hook you up with one of my friends, especially after the stunt you just pulled so goodbye."

Frank: "Maybe I should resort to my 'last line' of 'defense'."

Kimlee pulled Frank to a secluded area. Kimlee's friends look at them leave.

Girlfriend: "So she does know him."

Girlfriend 2: "He's kinda cute."

When Frank and Kimlee were alone, Frank showed her his Morphing Badge.

Frank: "Aero, Red Ranger. I need to find the Last Line Defense Red Ranger."

Kimlee: "This is she, what's up?"

Frank was startled, but quickly gained composure before he offends her.

Frank: "Um... There's a special mission where I require the assistance of Red Rangers... And I... Need... Um..."

Kimlee: "Ok, take a deep breath. In and out. I'am a Red Ranger. A female Red Ranger. It's not the end of the world."

Frank: "I'm sorry, I expected you to be..."

Kimlee: "Pink, Yellow? I hear there's even a white and blue one. But what about this mission?"

Frank: "It's like this..."

Billy arrives in Angel Grove. He can't help but feel a little bashfull.
Billy: "This is where it all started."

His list leads him to a karate school in town. A man in black leather follows Billy closely. Billy senses that someone is following him. For the time, he pays it no mind. When he enters the dojo he sees a young man showing a child some kicks.

Instructor: "Keep your stance wide, ballance is key. Like that. Good. Go show Instructor Davis, I have a visitor.

The instructor approaches Billy.

Instructor: "Interested in some classes?"

Billy: "Just looking for a guy named John."

Instructor: "I'm John. Any problem?"

Billy: "A big one. I'm the Crystal Red Ranger. Me and a fellow Red Ranger are recruiting Red Rangers for an important rescue mission."

John: "I take it it's a Red Ranger thing."

Billy: "We really need your help. All of our powers are at stake."

John: "If it's like that. I'll help."

As Billy and John leave the building, Frank arrives in his Arial Zord, he steps out with another male.

Frank: "Alright, this guy's the last on my list. His name is Steven, The Primal Ranger. He's tight lipped about who he works for."

Steven: "Just so long as I'am a Red Ranger, right? He tried to get it out of me the whole flight."

Frank: "What's your status, Billy?"

Billy: "I'm just about done too. My list only had four."

Frank: "...Four? I can't believe this! God Zedd wants ten."

John: "Hey, who's that in the bushes?"

Billy: "Some guy who's been following me since I got here."

Steven: "You there, show yourself!"

Out of the bushes comes the man in the leather coat, Henry. Henry talks into his wrist mounted communicator,

Henry: "Cyber Force come in, I'm discovered. Going radio silence."

Frank: "Who are you?"

Billy: "And why are you spying on us?"

Henry: "If you must know, I'm Henry,"

He shows them his wrist mounted device.

Henry: "Red Cyber Force Ranger."

The others take notice and listen closely.

Henry: "My team picked up a disturbance a while ago and I went to investigate. That's when I learned about your 'Red Ranger Resolve'. We weren't sure at the beginning, so I kept low until we were sure. In my oppinion you worked abit slow considering the circumstance."

Frank: "You didn't come up in my search, but we're still a man short, how about it."

Steven: "I don't trust him."

Frank: "With your secret organization buisness, I'm not too hot on you either. But this guy is a Red Ranger. He's what we need right now."

Henry: "Alright, I'm in."

John: "What now?"

Billy: "A trip to the beach."

In Miami Beach at night, the full moon looms over the waters. By the shore line, stand ten people. Ten Red Rangers; Frank, Aero; Billy, Crystal; Scott, Samurai Force; Brian, Daytona; Rico, Dino Strike; Christopher, Zodiac; Kimlee, Last Line Defense; John, Mythic Strike; Steven, The Primal Ranger; and Henry, Cyber Force. They stand waiting for God Zedd. In the backround, while South Beach is celebrating a new club openning, red fireworks explode in the sky.

Mean while in a far off place. A young man is just entering his home. Before he turns on the lights he's ambushed by shadowy figures.

The Red Rangers still wait in moonlight. They grow impatient. Then God Zedd appears in another projection. Red thunder trickles all around him.

God Zedd: "Will you look at that, ten Red Rangers!! I didn't think you were going to do it Aero Ranger, but you did. Now, come, come to my strong hold, Power Rangers, ha ha haaa!!!"

A red cloud covers all ten of the rangers. Red electricity forms around the cloud. The rangers are completely covered. Then nothing. The beach is clear. The only things left, are footprints, and the echo of God Zedd's laughter.

God Zedd's Stronghold. Picture an island without the beauty or tranquility of the norm. Thunder clouds loom around it, shooting red thunder bolts. The shore line is decorated with God Zedd statues and black stones. A red cloud appears on the shore, from red thunder smoke, the ten rangers appear. The smoke dissapates. The rangers look around. Scott sees one of the God Zedd statues.

Scott: "I guess this the stronghold. What now?"

Kimlee: "Zedd didn't give us no further instructions, I guess he wants us to explore."

Billy: "This place could be set with traps and such. This was probably his plan to begin with."

Rico: "I say we move toward the central mountain and jack up Zedd a good one!"

Chris: "And he'll end the Power Rangers legacy before we even morph."

Scott: "My cousin's right, the balls still in his court. We play his game for now."

The rangers explore, moving toward the central mountain like palace in the center of the island stronghold. Brian stops suddenly. The whole group stops after him.

Frank: "What's up?"

Brian: "We're being followed..."

Steven looks at Henry,

Steven: "You know a thing or two about 'following', is it one of your Cyber Force buddies?"

Henry: "Watch your mouth, if I had anything else up my sleeve we'd all know. Unlike your agenda."

Steven: "My agenda is to help protect our powers, whereas you played 'follow the ranger' for a while. You didn't even come up in Frank's Archive search. And I didn't see you morph yet..."

John: "You two stop! Eyes on the area. Somethings here with us; alot of things here with us."

The rangers stay in place. There is definately movement in bushes, trees, behind rocks, and shadows. Red glowing eyes appear from the shadows. The rangers see the eyes moving back in forth.

Kimlee: "Show yourself!"

Scott: "Yeah, no more games!"

Then, a very familier sound. One that will forever be a part of Power Ranger history; Puttie Talk.

"Do-lu-lu"
"Do-li-lo-lo-lo"

Billy: "I don't belive it."

John: "Oh give us a break."

Out of the darkness comes black Putties with red Z's on their chest. Their eyes glow red and they bob around like birds. The rangers are surrounded by what appears to be a hundred of them. The rangers get into fighting stance (Cross My Line backround music begins).

Rico: "This is what I'm talking about!"

Chris: "Stay together!"

Billy: "I knew Zedd had something planned!"

Henry: "Let's dance guys!"

The rangers split dispite Chris' idea. They run into battle. From a distance, God Zedd watches with an unknown figure.

John and Rico backflip side by side to a rock wall. They look at each other as putties move in on the trapped rangers. John crouches and Rico launches off his back and runs up the wall, he executes a backflip kick on a puttie and trips a second one. Then Rico crouches, and as John ran for his launch move, a puttie launched off Rico's back instead! But John dodged the drop kick. John grabbed the puttie and 'launched' him with a text-book karate throw; right into the rock wall.

Frank flips in between three putties facing outward. He kicks one in the butt. As it turned around Frank pointed to another puttie,

Frank: "He did it."

The puttie attacked the other one. The third puttie seemed confused.

Frank: "Don't just stand there break up the fight!"

The puttie tries to break them up but gets into it instead.

Frank: "I love putties."

Scott and Christopher fend off many putties together. Christopher wrenches one putties arm, and Scott kicks it the jaw. A puttie tries to kick Scott but he grabs it's leg. Chris spin kicks it away. One puttie stands against the both of them alone. They eyes each other.

Scott: "Let's do it!"

They both execute a flying drop kick to it's red Z, and it falls apart.

Kimlee dodges multiple putties with gymnist like moves in kung fu precision. A puttie sneaks up and grabs her from behind. She grabs its arm and flips it in front of her. She then jumps off its chest and split kicks two putties at once.

Brian runs toward a puttie and snap kicks it. From the impact of the kick Brian falls to his back, but quickly kick-flips to his feet. He sees Kimlee fending off putties,

Brian: "...Wow"

A puttie sneaks up behind him but Brian lands a no-look back-fist on it's red Z, tearing it apart. Kimlee seen the move and smiles.

Kimlee: "Good move."

Brian: "Well it's all in the wris..."

A puttie tackles him into bushes. After a moment, Brian comes out a little dirty and tattered. He smiles at himself and crosses his arms looking at Kimlee. Another puttie tackles him.

Billy and Steven execute punching variations on the putties. Billy blocks many kicks as Steven rushes a puttie until it trips. As Steven moves to finish off the puttie, Henry appears stomping the red Z and breaking it apart. Steven looks at Henry for a second and continues to assist Billy.

Billy kicks one puttie back a few feet and that's when everyone notices it's the last one. All the others were either destroyed or ran away. The lone puttie looks at the ten rangers advancing toward it.

Rico: "Your move, puttie brain!"

The puttie kicks itself in the Z and it breaks apart (Cross My Line track ends).

The rangers laugh and come together. They're tired and a little dirty. Some of them clap hands while others give thumbs up.

John: "Pretty good batch of rangers you collected, Frank."

Frank: "Hey, I just went with the list."

Then red thunder clouds appeared over the rangers and yet another God Zedd projection manifests.

God Zedd: "You rangers really impress me. The tournament will be something of a marvel for sure. The path west of here will lead you to my palace entrance. I hope you enjoyed my physical test rangers. Because the only other fight you will have is against each other!"

God Zedd disappears in a cloud of red thunder. The rangers see the path Zedd talked about. They follow the path to the palace entrance. Putties still loom around, but they don't attack. Red thunder strikes every once and a while. When they reach the entrance, the huge doors open. Inside was a huge hallway decorated with red symbols and the occasional Z.

And finally, God Zedd appears in person. The rangers didn't expect him to be so tall and bulk. But more suprisingly, he had a human at his side. His eyes were red and he had a blank expression on his face. He moved toward the rangers,

Stranger: "The arena is down the hall."

He leads the rangers to the arena. The arena entrance led to a large field surrounded by stadium like seats. The barrier walls are 15 feet high. In every seat were putties. Some were cheering at the site of the rangers. Some were calling hot-dog vender putties their way.

Billy: "This is crazy."

God Zedd appears in a balchany far above the field, the stranger is with him. His voice booms over the arena like a speaker.

God Zedd: "My putties, welcome the Red Rangers! They will defend their powers, by defending against each other! Rangers, your places when you're not fighting are ring side seats. Enjoy the show as I know I will! Let the tournament begin: Rico, the Dino-Strike Ranger and John, the Mythic Strike Ranger; you will begin!"

Rico and John eye each other. The other rangers are lead by Putties to their ring side seats, using stairs to reach them. A wall closes off the stairway. John and Rico stand alone in the arena while putties cheer loudly. The other rangers watch reluctantly.

Chris: "I still don't like all this."

Kimlee: "Me either."

Frank: "But this how it's gotta go for now."

Rico took a step away from John, giving them space.

Rico: "I'm sorry, man."

John: "Let's atleast make it a good one."

Rico: "Right."

God Zedd's voice sounded,

God Zedd: "Now fight!"

The cheering of the putties in God Zedd's arena is Pay-Per-View worthy. The eight red rangers seated in their 'ring side' seats look around. They feel uneasy, and rightfully so; God Zedd has the Morphing Grid in his hands, and they're surrounded by the biggest Puttie Patrol gathering they could imagine. If God Zedd really wanted to, he could destroy the red rangers and their powers in a two minute window. But lucky for the rangers, he's a sucker for entertaining himself. And today, he's got his eyes on Rico and John.

God Zedd: "Anytime now, rangers! Go ahead, morph or zeonize or whatever it is you do now! Ha haa! I'm already loving this!"

John looks up at Zedd, then back at Rico.

John: "There is some good in this."

Rico: "Go on..."

John: "Atleast this way, whoever wins this tournament desearves to face that creep."

Rico: "With that said, I'm warning you that I won't hold back because you're a red ranger."

John: "I was warning you."

Rico and John smile at each other, finally accepting the competitive sport element of the dark situation. John yells;

John: "Alright then, let's kick it off; Strike Mythic!"

John changes into the Red Mythic Strike Ranger and gets into a pose.

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "Mythic Strike Power Rangers!"

Rico reveals a wrist mounted device.

Rico: "I'm with that; It's morphing time!"

He holds the Dino-Morpher in view.

Rico: "Carnosaurus Dino Power!"

Rico morphs into the Maroon Dino-Strike Ranger.

Maroon Dino-Strike Ranger: "Power Rangers, Dino-Strike!"

Frank sees the rangers face off from his seat.

Frank: "This is going to be interesting."

The Maroon Dino Strike Ranger attacks first. The Red Mythic Strike Ranger dodges to the side, he appears alot more calm then the quick and impatient Maroon Ranger. They run toward each other and trade blocked punches and kicks until the Mythic Strike Ranger executes a roundhouse kick to the Dino-Strike Ranger's side, sending him rolling. The Dino-Strike Ranger recovers to his feet before the Mythic Strike Ranger could follow up. He grabs his arm and flips the Mythic Strike Ranger to the ground, and follows up with a well placed elbow drop.

The Dino-Strike Ranger stands and backs up.

Maroon Dino-Strike Ranger: "Alright Johnny boy time to make it interesting!"

The Mythic Strike Ranger stands holding his chest.

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "If you mean weapons, let's not go that distance, there's alot for you to learn about unarmed combat!"

Maroon Dino-Strike Ranger: "Oh yeah, you're the karate instructor. Well, I'm always up for a lesson on two!"

The Dino-Strike Ranger advances toward his opponant and goes for a flying drop kick. The Mythic Strike Ranger deflects his leg and palms his ribs. The Dino-Strike Ranger tries to trip him up from the ground, but he back-flips high into the air.

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "Puma Swords!"

Two swords appear in his hands as he comes back down. The Dino-Strike jumps as if to meet him off in the air.

Maroon Dino-Strike Ranger: "Carno Saber!"

In the air, with the Mythic Strike Ranger going down and the Dino-Strike Ranger going up, their blades meet with great sparks. The Mythic Strike Ranger lands while the Dino-Strike Ranger still rises. As he begins to come down, he starts spinning with the Carno Saber. The Mythic Strike Ranger didn't see this type of attack coming,

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "The spin cycle was always my favorite part of the laundry process, but this is crazy; Myth Baton!"

A baton appears in his hands.

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "Alright! Myth Baton Blaster power up!" (Mythic Strike theme music plays)

He aims at the spinning Dino-Strike Ranger and fires a burning beam of energy. It sends his target spinning out of control and to the ground. The Mythic Strike Ranger turns to pose while the Dino-Strike Ranger falls from dizziness and explosions occure behind and in front of him. (Mythic Strike theme ends)

The other rangers had mixed emotions, some liked the ending while others were bothered at a ranger defeating a ranger. One thing's for sure, God Zedd loved it.

God Zedd: "Amazing show! The winner is the Mythic Strike Red Ranger! You are the first to advance in the Red Tournament, and one step closer to greatness!"

Red Mythic Strike Ranger: "Mythic Strike power down."

He powers down and approaches Rico, who is already powered down. He picks him up and dusts him off.

John: "Good match, man."

Rico: "The last time I was this dizzy was the first time I morphed."

All of a sudden the arena doors opened and God Zedd Putties appeared. They came toward Rico and lead him away, in surprisingly gentle fashion.

God Zedd: "Do not worry, loser! You will be taken to a healing chamber, where you will await furthur word from me."

John didn't like it at all, but Rico submitted himself,

Rico: "Balls still in his court, I'll be alright."

The putties lead him out of the arena. John stands alone in the arena. He wonders what will come next. Another set of putties come toward him. He gets in fighting stance. Zedd's voice appears again from his skybox.

God Zedd: "And to the winner, you will advance. Follow the putties to the winners chamber where you will await other victors."

John lets up and follows the putties. He looks back at the other rangers and gives a thumbs up. The other rangers nod as they watch him leave the arena. The putties of the arena cheer for more action. The rangers wonder who will be next. God Zedd speaks,

God Zedd: "My loyal clumps of clay, the next match is sure to be as action packed! Frank, Aero Ranger, make your way to the arena!"

Frank walks down the opening steps to the arena field. He looks back at the other rangers, wondering who will be choosen.
God Zedd: "Brian, the Daytona Ranger, you will face him!"

All the other rangers eye Brian as he walks down the steps. The stairway closes off as it did last time. Brian approaches Frank,

Brian: "Let's give it our best."

God Zedd: "Now fight!"

As Frank and Brian face off, Frank looks around the arena.

Frank: "Look at all those Putties."

Brian looks around as well,

Brian: "Yeah, a whole mess of 'em."

Frank: "I have to say; when I gathered you guys, I didn't mean to place you in this situation."

Brian: "We knew what we were getting into. Besides, what Red Ranger would leave you hanging?"

Frank showed appreciation in his face, then touched his Morphing Badge under his shirt.

Frank: "Then lets give 'em a show! Take to the Skies!!"

Brina grabs his Daytona Morpher.

Brian: "Ok! Shift into High Gear, GT Daytona Power!"

(In split screen) Frank and Brian morph into the Aero and Daytona Red Rangers. They get into stance as the Putties cheer loudly. In their stands, the other red rangers look on. Kimlee keeps an eye on Brian.

Kimlee: "Lets go Daytona! Whoo! C'mon Brian!"

The other rangers felt strange about it, but for the first time they all got into the sport of it all. Billy took a glance at Kimlee and then at Frank in the field.

Billy: "You can take him Frank! Give him that Aero, man!"

The Red Aero Ranger looked at the others and noticed Kimlee cheering for the Red Daytona Ranger.

Red Aero Ranger: "Looks like you have a fan. Better impress her, she digs you."

Red Daytona Ranger: "...Really?"

The Red Daytona Ranger looks at the stands and sees Kimlee cheering him on. What he doesn't see is the Red Aero Ranger pulling out his Bladed Twin Pistols!

Red Aero Ranger: "Keep girls off the mind!"

When the Red Daytona Ranger turned to see him, that's when the Red Aero Ranger fired off. (In Bullet Time) The Red Daytona Ranger dodged the shots with backflips and pulled out his Daytona Blaster on the last flip (End Bullet Time).

Red Daytona Ranger: "You don't think I can be a 'Daytona' Ranger and not be fast? Get a load of this!"

(In Bullet Time) The Red Daytona Ranger strafed to the side firing shots from his Daytona Blaster. The Red Aero Ranger tried to dodge but didn't move as fast; he got hit by a stray bolt (End Bullet Time). Kimlee cheers the Red daytona Ranger on.

Red Aero Ranger: "You are fast with your blaster, guess I gotta get up close and personal!"

The Red Aero Ranger flips to the Red Daytona Ranger. The Red Daytona Ranger jumps in the air with him. Sparks flew from the Red Daytona Rangers chest as the Red Aero Ranger struck him with the blades on his Twin Pistols. The Red Aero Ranger landed on his feet, the Daytona Ranger on his side. Kimlee put her hands over her mouth and was silent. The Red Daytona Ranger stood to his feet and got into stance. The Red Aero Ranger got into stance after putting away his Twin Pistols. Kimlee yelled,
Kimlee: "Alright, Brian!"

The Red Daytona Ranger looked her way. Kimlee smiled at him. The Red Daytona Ranger tilted his head slightly. When he turned he saw the Red Aero Ranger already coming at him with a flying jump kick. The Red Daytona Ranger was struck hard and flew several yards back as sparks flew from his chest (Imagine the scene in 4ever Red when Tommy kicked the robot across the canyon). When the Red Daytona Ranger hit a wall, many sparks flew as he fell. The Red Aero Ranger pulled out his Twin Pistols,
Red Aero Ranger: "Now dodge this!"

He crossed his Twin Pistols across his chest then pointed at the Red Daytona Ranger (Aero theme plays). He shot large bolts at the Red Daytona Ranger and large explosions erupted around him. The Red Aero Ranger posed as this happened (Aero theme ends). Billy cheered on as Kimlee seemed slighty down, but smiled still.

Kimlee: "That was good, Brian!"

The Red Daytona Ranger powered down to Brian and the Red Aero Ranger did the same. Frank went to Brian,

Frank: "You like her do you?"

Brian: "Just a little..."

Frank: "You don't lose your focus if you like a girl just a little."

Frank helped Brian up to the cheers of the other rangers. The arena doors openned again and Putties came their way.

God Zedd: "Spectacular! But I can't but feel that the Red Daytona Ranger wasn't too focused. Puberty is such a strange feeling isn't it, Daytona Ranger?! Ha ha ha!!"

The Putties went to Brian first, and lead him to the exit of the arena.

Brian: "Guess it's the healing chamber for me, I'll tell Rico nothings changed much and God Zedd didn't try anything."

Frank: "You do that. This means I'll see John soon."

As Brian left, other Putties came to Frank and lead in a different direction.

God Zedd: "And the Red Aero Ranger will advance and soon face the first winner, John, in the semi-finals! Moving on, our next show of ranger-hood... will be... the two cheerleaders!! Billy and Kimlee!! After seeing their friends fight each other, now they get to battle! Oh the drama!! Ha ha!! But first, alittle break. I must tend to something else at the moment. So sit tight, and enjoy the hot dogs!!"

In a moment, God Zedd left his sky-box. The red rangers looked confused. Kimlee looked at Billy,

Kimlee: "Guess we're up next. Don't go easy cause I'm a girl ok?"
Billy: "It'll still feel weird, but ok."

Scott: "You know Chris, if God Zedd wants to stir things up now he'll probably put you and me against each other."

Christopher: "I can handle it. But that would mean..."

Billy, Kimlee, Christopher, and Scott look toward Steven and then at Henry. Then Henry and Steven eye each other. They both smirk and look other directions.

Kimlee(Whispers): "In a little while, it's about to really go down."

In a well lit chamber, Brian is brought to the Healing Chamber. He sees Rico, looking into a floating red crystal. When Brian approaches, he sees that the crystal projects the events of the tournament. Rico notices him,

Rico: "That match was wild, you gotta show me that dodging technique sometime."

Brian: "You were here the whole time?"

Rico: "Pretty much, there's a larger tube or something that heals you up real good, give it a try. I feel like I never threw a punch."

Brian: "Strange of God Zedd to allow us a place to heal; I mean seriously, what does he care about how we end up... ...Rico?"

Rico: "What's up?"

Brian: "Morph."

Rico: "Well, ok. It's morphin time! Carnosaurus Dino Power!"

Rico's Dino Morpher doesn't react.

Rico: "...It's morphin time..! Carnosaurus..!"

He places the wrist mounted morpher in front of him,
Rico: "Dino..!
He forms a fist and aims it in the air,
Rico: "...Power!

Rico examines his morpher, but Brian examines the Healing Tube. Brian turns to Rico,

Brian: "And how long were you in this thing?"

Rico: "You don't think..?"

Brian: "Think? I know."

On another side of Zedd's stronghold, Frank is just arriving in highly decorated room. The God Zedd Putties that led him their were very humble, tending to what they believed he needed. Frank then caught John at the other end of the room, looking into a red crystal. John turns to him,

John: "This crystal, it..."

Frank: "Projects images, the Crystal Rangers have something very similar to it. Alittle too similar."

John: "Come to think of it, everything about this place reminds me of something ranger related. Check out that table over there, its design is straight out of the ruins of the original Command Center. And the technology of the pressure doors are totally Rita's."

Frank: "I think Godd Zedd as been around more than care to realize."

John: "You think he's been watching us, all of us, the 'whole' time."

Frank: "I don't know, but if..."

All of a sudden a young man came into the room. He was the young man that was at Zedd's side since they came.

Stranger: "My lord sends me to inquire if you are well taken care of."

John: "We're okay, as okay as red rangers can be in this situation. Who are 'you', and how did you come to his side?"

Stranger: "It is not my place to reveal."

Frank stepped up to him.

Frank: "Not your place or not your freedom?"

Stranger: "God Zedd commands my every move and word, there is no question in the matter."

John: "You can't be serious. Is he forcing you to do all this, holding you hostage like us."

Then a different expression came to the young man, he seemed to be looking back into something, a memory perhaps...
He remembers arriving at his home. He remembers it was night. He remembers... Getting attacked. ...His memory then fades.

He nearly falls over, until Frank catches him. The stranger stands up, his face in shock.

Stranger: "What am I doing here?!? Who are you?!"

John: "We're power rangers, who are 'you'?"

Stranger: "Rangers? Well so am I..."
(Solar Warriors theme plays)

Stranger: "I'm the Red Solar Warrior, Kyle!"

Frank and John smile.

Kyle: "It's all coming back to me (music ends). I've been... Watching you fight each other. The ransom, the stronghold, I remember now."

Frank: "Great now we can..."

All of a sudden red electricity engulfs Kyle's head. He falls to the floor; where Putties take him away. God Zedd himself enters the room.

God Zedd: "Poor Kyle, he almost had a relasps; he does seem to be resisting. But my power his far greater than his will!"

Frank: "You never told you had an eleventh ranger invovled!"

John: "Yeah Zedd, should've know you would have an ace up your sleave!"

God Zedd: "And so what! You are in MY stronghold, under MY circumstances! You pittiful rangers can't even begin to imagine my wrath if I so feel the need to erase you all! I was coming here to congradulate you on you victories, but I have more pressing matters to attend."

John: "Keep your props, we don't need it from the likes of you."

God Zedd left the Winner's Chamber. Frank and John started talking as the door closed.

Back in the 'Healing' Chamber, Brian and Rico tinker with the Healing Tubes.

Brian: "God Zedd had these tubes jacked up heal us sure, but at the expense of our powers!"

Rico: "I don't get it, if he's going for that anyway, why don't he just off the Morphing Grid?"

Brian: "Because he can't, Rico..! This tournament, this stronghold... And seriously, NO ONE can destroy the 'Grid. There's been cases of rangers losing their powers all the time, but not in a whole sense. God Zedd can't destroy the Morphing Grid as a whole."

Rico: "So the losers get in this tube to heal and lose their powers."

Brian: "Not lose, transer; look at this..."

Brian shows Rico a large red cord that glows a ghostly red hue. The cord leads to the wall of the Healing Chamber.

Rico: "And the plot thickens."

They hear the chamber door open and God Zedd, armed with Putties arrive. Though his face his hidden under a silver mask, you can still tell he's unhappy.

God Zedd: "So, you have figured out my little secret. Well Rangers, you are 'welcomed to leave'..."

Brian: "...What?"

God Zedd: "You have nothing more to do in this tournament, you may run back to your command centers or academies which ever they may be to you."

Rico: "Are you lying..?"

God Zedd: "Haha yes!! Get them while they're weak, my putties, and send them to the dungeuns!!"

The rangers get into fighting stance. Rico still feels fatigued,
Rico: "Why would I think he wouldn't have dungeuns here?"

The putties ready themselves, but God Zedd calls them down,

God Zedd: "Come to think of it, the last we need is for this place to be wrecked over a battle; we will have other losers joining."

God Zedd blast the rangers with great balls of red thunder and they fall alive but motionless.

God Zedd: "See, no need for over the top ka-ra-te with rock and roll music blasting in the back round."

The putties look at each other confused."

God Zedd: "Trust me on that my underlings. Kyle, my Solar Warrior, have them taken to the dungeuns, and destroy the key."

Kyle enters, with red eyes, and commands some putties to retrieve Brian and Rico.

God Zedd: "I have to go announce the next match, though it doesn't matter who wins..."

He eyes his Healing Tubes,

God Zedd: "The powers will be mine, and mine alone! My grand scheme will soon be realized, and the universe will be mine!!"

Chapter Eight
"Billy -vs- Kimlee"

The putties in the arena get restless and start screaming for God Zedd in their all to familier language. Their calls are answered; for God Zedd returned to his sky-box high above. The remaining rangers seen him sit back in place with Kyle, the Red Solar Warrior. Because the other rangers still don't know what John and Frank learned (reference last episode), he remains a mystery. Scott takes a look at him,

Scott: "Any of you guys recognize that guy with Zedd?"

The whole group takes a look at him.

Christopher: "Never seen him before, but I bet he has some explaining to do."

The rangers give agreeing gestures. Then God Zedd's voice boomed over the arena.

God Zedd: "Sorry for the delay, one might say it's taken a whole 'week' haha!!"

Christopher thinks to himself, and turns to his cousin Scott,

Christopher: "Sorry for being off topic, but do you ever feel like these crazy adventures happen to us like every week?"

Scott: "You know what Chris, it does feel that way."

Billy: "It felt that way at first, but then it seemed to be daily."

Kimlee: "You guys 'really' are getting off topic here; besides it obviously feels like every week."

The openning to the arena floor widens. God Zedd continues his words.

God Zedd: "Now, Billy, the Red Crystal Ranger; you will face Kimlee, the Red Last Line Defense Ranger! Let the entertainment continue!!"

The putties in attendance cheer their approval. Billy and Kimlee enter the arena floor, now feeling how it is to be in front of thousands of putties. They face off a fair distance away.

Kimlee: "Remember what I said Billy!" (Reference Eps. 6)

Billy: "Don't worry, you'll see Brian soon enough."

The remaining rangers give Jerry Springer like ooh's, seeming to finally enjoy the event instead of despairing in it.

Kimlee: "Very funny, but I'm going to the winner's circle, Billy-boy!"

Billy: "Oh yeah, what makes you sure?"

Kimlee: "Female intuition."

Billy: "We'll see."

Kimlee: "You'll see, I 'know'. Last Line Defense!"

In streaming lights, Kimlee becomes the Red Last Line Defense Ranger. She gets into a pose while the Last Line Defense logo appears behind her (you know it happens on TV).

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "Last Line Defense Power Rangers!"

Billy: "Cute, but now... It's Time to Shine!"

In sparkling red light, Billy becomes the Red Crystal Ranger. He gets into a pose as a bright red shine sways the arena. Christopher takes notice,

Christopher: "Now that's a morph."

Henry: "That's all flash kid, wait til you see what I can do."

Steven: "We're all 'very' interested."

Back on the compettition field, The Red Crystal and Last Line Defense Rangers square off. The Crystal Ranger runs toward the LLD Ranger, hoping to rush her off gaurd.

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "Impatient are you?"

She runs toward him at high speed. The Crystal Ranger slows his pace,

Red Crystal Ranger: "Oh man..."

The LLD Ranger pulls out her Defender Sword and takes a swipe at the Crystal Ranger. He gaurds her stiff thrust with his Red Ruby Sword. Red sparks flew about on impact. The LLD Ranger turned around and attacked with a combination of sword swings and kicks. The Crystal Ranger parries her sword, but is constantly caught by her kicks. He combat rolls to the side.

Red Crystal Ranger: "You're fast, but how can you hit what you can't see? Ruby light!"

The arena is filled with a bright red flare. When the light dimmed, the Crystal Ranger was behind the LLD Ranger! He tapped her on the shoulder and struck her with his Ruby Sword when she seen him. As sparks flew from her side, she fell to the ground. The Crystal Ranger leaped away from her.

Red Crystal Ranger: "Give up whenever you want to!"

The LLD Ranger stood up, dusted off, and posed with her sword.

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "You have alot to learn about girls. We don't give up unless we know the guys are at our feet!"

Red Crystal Ranger: "Melissa would love to hear that one."

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "...Who's that?"

Red Crystal Ranger: "My leader, the White Diamond Crystal Ranger."

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "You're leader's a girl?! How does it feel taking orders from a chick, Billy-boy?"

The Crystal Ranger didn't react with words, but instead he leaped toward her. He prepped his Ruby Sword mid-jump for a crushing strike. The LLD Ranger side stepped his attack and struck his back with her Defender Sword. The Crystal Ranger stumbled. When he turned to defend against her, she was already powering up her Defender Sword. The Crystal Ranger is all too familier with a power ranger final strike set up. He raised his hand in the air to cast another red light, and she was blinded again. The Crystal Ranger used this chance to power up his Ruby Sword. When the LLD Ranger came to, she saw the Crystal Ranger standing with a glowing sword. The rangers faced off with powered up swords.

They ran toward each other, their swords leaving red light-trails behind them. The Crystal Ranger raised his sword in an upper stance, the LLD Ranger held hers to her side. When the rangers finally clashed, a great explosion occured as they ran past each other. They stood with their backs to each other. The arena, for the first time, was completely silent. The Red Rangers in the stands were still. Then the LLD Ranger spoke to herself under her breath,

Red Last Line Defense Ranger: "Sorry Brian, it's the winner's circle for me; see you a little later cutie."

Almost in sync with her words, the Crystal Ranger fell to his knees to a hail of sparky explosions. The LLD Ranger turned to pose with her Defender Sword (Single note from Last Line Defense theme plays). The putties cheer louder than before.
God Zedd: "And in a grand contest, the Red Last Line Defense Ranger takes the victory!!"

Christopher, Scott, Steven, and Henry cheered on a dirty and battered Kimlee; as she powers down. She approaches Billy, who's already powered down.

Kimlee: "You okay?"

Billy: "As okay as a guy can be after getting beat up by a girl."

Kimlee giggles as she helps him up,

Kimlee: "Never underestimate the power of female intuition. Tell Brian I said hi for me?"

Billy: "Sure, tell Frank you didn't beat me as bad as you did; he'd never let it go."

Kimlee: "I'll make it as uplifting as possible."

Putties came to the arena floor, and split into the usual groups. Some came to Kimlee and lead her one end of the arena, while Billy was taken to the other side. God Zedd spoke,

God Zedd: "Pity to whoever follows that act, or should I say, pity to Christopher and his cousin Scott!! Hahaa! Red Zodiac Ranger, Red Samurai Force Ranger; prepare to do battle...!!"

As God Zedd kept talking, Billy was being lead down a dark hallway. He can still hear God Zedd's loud voice. When he came to a room that 'seemed' to be a healing chamber, he noticed large tubes out of place. The putties left after he was taken far enough. Billy looks around,

Billy: "Rico? Brian?"

All of a sudden Kyle entered the room.

Kyle: "Aren't you gonna heal?"

Billy: "Not until I see the other rangers!"

Kyle: "God Zedd was wise to place me here when one of you 'losers' arrive, he fears you rangers are getting too curious."

Billy: "What are you talking about..?"

Kyle didn't answer, what he did was blast Billy, unmorphed, with a red beam. As Billy was held in place by the beam, Kyle grabbed a wire from the healing tube; and transfered Billy powers to it. Billy fell motionless when Kyle was done. Putties arrived on scene to take Billy.

Kyle: "Place him with the other two. God Zedd's plan is coming to pass."

As Kyle's eyes glowed a ghastly red, Billy was taken away. Meanwhile in the Victory Chamber, Frank and John see Kimlee arrive.

Kimlee: "So do they serve drinks here that aren't red."

Frank: "..."
John: "..."

Kimlee turns to Frank,

Kimlee: "I beat up your friend."

Inside the Victory Chamber, John, Frank, and Kimlee watch the viewing crystal as God Zedd once again announces Scott and Christopher as the next match.

God Zedd: "I wonder who is the better cousin; Scott or Christopher? This should be an interesting contest. Samurai Ranger, Zodiac Ranger; to the arena floor you go!"

Scott and Christopher step onto the arena stairs that unfolds for the contestants. When they get to the battle field, they see it's battle weared; chared floor from explosions, some smoke even from Frank and Brian's battle. Christopher got into stance a little quicker than Scott may have thought. Scott crossed his arms,

Scott: "What are you doing?"

Christopher: "This 'is' a compettition. If we're to ensure that the best of us will be dealing with God Zedd, we should make sure the whoever's left is the best, right?"

Scott: "Excactly, so as a ranger, a 'red' ranger, and my cousin, try not to take this too seriously."

Christopher: "You're always trying to teach me something, I'm a red ranger just like you; I know what's at stake here."

Scott: "Then don't forget that this compettition is a big ransom ran by probably the most powerful being we've all been up against. Don't let a victory come before keeping your powers."

Christopher lets his gaurd down, physically looking angry. He aggressively pulls out his Zodiac Morpher.

Christopher: "I think you don't want your 'little' cousin taking you out."

Scott: "Wanna know what I think, you're simply another kid-ranger who most likely marked out like a fan-boy when he got his powers..."

Scott pulls out his Samuraizer,

Scott: "I don't even know how you got to be a red ranger!"

Christopher heard enough. With his morpher placed before him..,

Christopher: "Zodiac Power Activate!!"

Christopher morphed into the Red Zodiac Ranger. He got into a pose.

Red Zodiac Ranger: "Zodiac Power Rangers!"

Scott was about to morph, but the Red Zodiac Ranger shot a red bolt from his Tiger Saber. Scott dodged to the side and looked at his cousin in disbelief.

Scott: "Cute. Very cute, 'cous. That's the way you wanna play; then let's play!"

Scott, unmorphed, charged at the red Zodiac Ranger. The putties in attendance were surprised at the feat. They watched as Scott actually fought toe to toe with an armed Red Ranger. It wouldn't last, for the Red Zodiac Ranger landed a swift kick to Scott and sent him flying. The difference between a Power Ranger and a human being was clearly displayed in that exchange. Scott got up as the Red Zodiac Ranger posed with his back to him; in ranger victory fashion, but Scott wasn't out yet.

Scott: "In the code of a samurai, a fair fight is honorable. In the code of family, you're just plain wrong!"

Red Zodiac Ranger: "Then morph and take me on, Scott! I await more of your wisdom."

Scott: "Kids. Alright, Samuraize!"

Scott morphed into the Red Samurai Force Ranger and posed as a Japenese symbol appeared behind him. The Red Zodiac Ranger didn't seem impressed. Infact he invited the Red Samurai Force Ranger to attack. Steven and Henry watched from the stands as they started fighting vigurously.

Henry: "That kid has moves; let's hope you do to."

Steven: "Trust me, you'll get everything I got. You have no idea what my powers have in store for you."

Henry: "We've seen that enough. I say we go at it unmorphed for a while; see what you're made of powerless."

Steven: "Alright, we'll save the fireworks for later in the match. Unless you got some Cyber Force trick up your sleave."

Henry: "No tricks just..."

Suddenly they heard an explosion from the current match. They seen the Red Samurai Force Ranger stumbling.

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "Good shot, but it could've been better used when I was faking to the side."

Red Zodiac Ranger: "No more treating me like a kid; after all, I'm winning. I'm sure Sally would be happy to see your performance today."

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "...You just spelled your end, kid."

The Red Samurai Force Ranger pulled out his Samurai Sword and got into a samurai stance. The Red Zodiac Ranger stood in place with his Tiger Saber. They approached each other slowly, constantly switching up their stances to throw each other off. The Red Zodiac Ranger twirled his saber to the side and then spun it upward. The Red Samurai Force Rangerheld his sword to the side then spun around into a high gaurd stance. The Red Zodiac Ranger took two strikes at the Red Samurai Force Ranger, but he parried the strikes and they both get back into circling each other slowly.

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "You're better than I thought you were, Chris."

Red Zodiac Ranger: "...I am?"

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "I didn't think you'd last to this point."

Red Zodiac Ranger: "...You're trying to get my gaurd down! Kiyaa!!"

With a thrust the Red Zodiac Ranger lunged at the Red Samurai Force Ranger, but he missed widely. The Red Samurai Force Ranger took this chance to strike the Red Zodiac Ranger with quick samurai precision. He then turned to pose as the Red Zodiac Ranger fell to explosions around him. But out of the smoke, the Red Zodiac Ranger stood on one knee, then on his two feet. The Red Samurai Force Ranger turned to see his little cousin, his helmet cracked by one of the explosions, hold up his Tiger Saber.

Red Zodiac Ranger: "C'mon, Scott, try harder than that."

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "Wow"

The rangers ran toward each other, as they clashed; everything else around them seemed to go in slow motion. The sparks from their clashing blades seemed to fall like yellow snow rather than the usual rain effect. Dirt kicked up by their feet rised in a ghostly slow accent. In a expert strike, the Red Zodiac Ranger sliced the Red Samurai Force Ranger across his chest. He turned to pose as explosions happened around the Red Samurai Force Ranger. When the Red Zodiac Ranger turned, however, he seen his cousin using his sword to hold himself up.

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "Almost got me, Chris... Almost."

Red Zodiac Ranger: "Let's finish this!"

The red rangers threw their blades at the same time. As the swords passed one another, the rangers caught them! The Red Zodiac Ranger held the Samurai Sword, while the Red Samurai Force Ranger had his Tiger Saber. They even still got into stance and prepped for an attack. The the Red Samurai Force Ranger started to playfully swing the Tiger Saber,

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "Hey look at me, I'm the Red Zodiac Ranger! I have a Sheep for a Zord!

Red Zodiac Ranger: "Oh yeah, I'm the Red Samurai Force Ranger! I travel the world learning how to fight cause I don't know how!"

The Red Ranger actually started laughing at each other; or more accurately, they shared a laugh. God Zedd wasn't pleased.

God Zedd: "What is this?!"

The Red Rangers peacefully traded their weapons back and got into stance.

Red Samurai Force Ranger: "Alright, let's do this right."

Red Zodiac Ranger: "Yeah, let's do it."

They battled using advanced martial arts. It would seem that they were evenly matched. Then the Red Samurai Force Ranger caught his cousin with a surprise throw. When the Red Zodiac Ranger couldn't rise again. Every knew the Red Samurai Force Ranger was the winner. The putties gave a great cheer for Scott, who unmorphes and approaches his cousin. God Zedd didn't enjoy the ending as he did in other matches. The Red Zodiac Ranger powers down to Christopher and tries to rise.

Scott: "Let me help you."

He helps Christopher to his feet. They can already see the after match puttie coming to them.

Christopher: "Scott, I'm sorry for getting lost in the match, and for bringing up Sally. You're better than me, I needed some type of edge."

Scott: "Kid, your skills are all the edge you need. You're a great Red Ranger."

The putties seperated them and started taking them to oppisite ends of the arena. Scott looked back at his cousin one last time before the doors closed.

God Zedd: "Such a sweet contest of the cousins; though it could've more brutal. In any case I'm sure the next match will be a doozy. Yes!! Steven and Henry!! What a show it will be with the mysterious rangers!!

Meanwhile in the Victory Chamber, a tired Scott enters the room. The other winner's gather around him. Discussing the whatever was on their mind. But Scott was too occupied thinking about his cousin.

Inside the Healing Chamber, Christopher falls before Kyle; drained of his powers. Kyle smiles as he orders the putties to take Christopher away.

Kyle: "One more ranger for God Zedd to go ahead with his plan."
He looks up, as if looking toward a god.

Kyle: "The Morphing Grid will be destroyed by the very force it generates. And the only true power will be that of God Zedd's!"

Kyle gives an evil laugh very reminiscent of a certain green ranger in his evil days, but much more convincing and evil.

Inside his personal chamber, God Zedd, on another break from the tournament, looks into his viewing crystal. Kyle enters his chamber and approaches with a smile,

Kyle: "M'lord, I have the young one's energy. He was too weak to put up a struggle."

God Zedd was pleased. He raised his 'Z'-ended silver staff and a controled waved of red energy flowed from Kyle to God Zedd's staff to a red and white ball high above the chamber. The large ball glowed with raw power as it was absorbing the red energy of Christopher, the Red Zodiac Ranger. Kyle wasn't at all effected by the power transfer; instead, he seemed to get some sort of pleasure from it. When the transfer was complete, Kyle looked at the Power Ball high above,

Kyle: "Is that what I think it is, master?"

God Zedd: "Why yes, my servant. This is my new Morphing Grid. Powered by the leading force of all ranger teams, this is the instrument that will end the legacy of the Power Rangers!"

Kyle was suddenly confused. He took a look at the Power Ball and noticed it's bright red light spots and dark crimson surfaces; not unlike a red sun. Trickling around it was white flares jumping around it. The Power Ball, roughly the size of two Voltswagon Beetles set bottom to bottom, lowered and lit Kyle and God Zedd in a light reddish hue. God Zedd approached the Power Ball,

God Zedd: "Do you know why it takes a Morphing Grid to destroy a Morphing Grid, servant?"

Kyle: "...Educate me, master."

God Zedd walked around the Power Ball while Kyle stood in place.

God Zedd: "This young Morphing Grid only has enough power to grant the formation of one power ranger. Because it is not a true Morphing Grid; but a false replica. The true dynamics of it are too unstabble even for me to make a complete recreation. But it is close enough to make well use of it."

Kyle had to duck a white flare flying around the Power Ball. He studied it's wild coleration od red and dark red.

God Zedd: "By using the defeated Red Ranger's powers, I can make my Morphing Grid grow until it's usage is of most promise."

Kyle: "I knew that part, master; but how excactly are you going to use it..?"

God Zedd: "Isn't it clear by now, Solar Warrior? My ultimate plane is to destroy the Morphing Grid by making it's energies clash with similar frequency's."

Kyle: "This Morphing Grid will attack the original?!?"

God Zedd made the Power Ball float back to the chamber ceiling. He sat on his throne,

God Zedd: "The actual Morphing Grid can't actively commit offense or defense. This is why Power Ranger's exist in the first place..."
Kyle smiled as he looked toward his enslaver.

God Zedd: "I need but one more red power level to even out the psuduo nature of the false grid, while I fuel the rest with my vast power. Then I will attack the original Morphing Grid... As the God Red Ranger!!"

In saying this madness, the Power Ball trickled in great white energy, as if pleased with God Zedd's words. Kyle approached God Zedd,

Kyle: "But you said a Morphing Grid isn't meant to defend, you will have to face a representation of it's entire power. Though I know no ranger with such responsibility, one of such can be quite powerful."

God Zedd: "There's a reason I chose to drain the defeated rangers, Kyle. The victorious rangers will face each other in the semi-finals. Eventually, one ranger will be left to face me. It is then I will morph into the God Red Ranger. I will represent my Morphing Grid, and he or she will represent their's."

Kyle: "How will that be possible?"

God Zedd: "I 'am' God Zedd. I can manipulate the great forces all around us to ensure that the final morphing sequence of the tournament finalist will be a direct feed of the Morphing Grid."

Kyle was coy to say his next statement,

Kyle: "Master, you could make for very powerful opponent. You may even spell your end..."

God Zedd: "Such little faith, slave. That ranger won't possibly know how to handle such raw energies. It will be a one sided battle, even if their Morphing Grid is the real thing. In defeating that Red Ranger, I will destroy the Morphing Grid, and end the Power Rangers forever!"

God Zedd sat up and walked toward the chamber door, it slid open automatically; like any contemporary super market. God Zedd turned to Kyle,

God Zedd: "And the best part, is that they were practically feeding me their own powers. The irony is as perfect as I am..."

God Zedd raised his silver staff,

God Zedd: "To the end of the Power Rangers!"

God Zedd left the chamber and Kyle was alone. He looked at the Power Ball; a churning false Morphing Grid nearly ready to do God Zedd's evil bidding. Kyle turned to walk away, but a white energy flare similar to one Kyle dodged exploded extra far from the Power Ball and colided with Kyle. Kyle was thrown to the floor as white energy engulfed him. After a while, he raised himself. He looked toward the door God Zedd exited.

Kyle: "Bet you didn't think the good energy left in the Power Ranger's contribution were enough to free me, Zedd."

Kyle looked around feverishly,

Kyle: "This time I can't get back under his control. I have to play servant alittle while longer, I can't let God Zedd morph in any cost!"

Kyle analyzed his gear. He was pleased to find most of his belongings in place, including his morpher. (Slow variation of Solar Warriors theme plays)

Kyle: "I think he'd absorb my powers first; he must want me to keep my powers to... Face one of the winning rangers..! My knowledge is the greatest edge we all got, I gotta win no matter what."

Kyle looked at the Viewing Crystal. He seen God Zedd take place in his skybox and await his chance to announce the next match. Kyle took one last look at the Power Ball before he left,

Kyle: "If I'm gone too long, or appear to have broken control; God Zedd will reinforce his hold on me triple fold, or even destroy me on the spot. I gotta play the part for all of us, atleast until another ranger knows what he's really up to."

With that said, Kyle left to join God Zedd before he'd notice his absense.

Steven and Henry are already at the folding staircase, awaiting it's openning. They're calm, yet excited. In a way, it's what they've been wanting since learning God Zedd's ingenious set ups of grudge matches. They knew it would come to this. Finally a chance to scope out each others abilities.

In the Victory Chamber; John, Frank, Kimlee, and Scott are attentive toward the viewing crystal. They, like all of the putties and God Zedd himself; are very interested in the coming bout. After all, Steven and Henry are virtually unknown to the others. But the situation mustn't be mistaken with a hatred or even bitterness. They are, most of all, Power Rangers. And they've both taken the same vow; to protect the Earth from the likes of God Zedd. Admittingly, no one can resist the interest of the match. If anything, God Zedd would've made a rather decent booker for Vegas.

In his Sky-Box, God Zedd notices Kyle's absense. As God Zedd seemed to be rising, Kyle finally enters the Sky-Box.

Kyle: "Sorry, master, I took it upon myself to keep watch over your Morphing Grid."

God Zedd: "I guess there's no harm done in being carefull. A servant with incentive; I'm glad I sent for you and not that skinny young man from the Wind Ninja Academy!"

Kyle: "It is a wonder how he bulks up morphed, master."

God Zedd: "He's a male yellow ranger; he's nothing but wonders!"

Kyle: "Your comedy supercedes everything m'lord."

God Zedd: "You know what Kyle, you've been my servant for a short while; but I'm just now starting to like you. After I destroy the Power Rangers, I'm making you Chief of Destruction. How's that sound, my humble slave?"

Kyle: "What exactly is Chief of Destruction?"

God Zedd: "You destroy anything you wish without my consent."

Kyle: "......Thank you master."

God Zedd: "Now, Destruction Chief, enjoy this next round. With any hope these two might very well destroy each other!"

God Zedd stands up announces the coming match,

God Zedd: "Steven and Henry, enter the arena floor!"

The stair case finally unfolds and the participants enter to the cheers of the putties. Steven takes place yards away from Henry. Henry doesn't stretch, or even throw practise swings. Steven also seems to avoid pre-match exorcises. Inside the Victory Chamber, John notices this,

John: "They don't wanna give off signs of their fighting styles, they're equally secretive. However they fought when we took on the Putties were just place-hold techniques to throw us all off."

Scott: "I think they're gonna go at it unmorphed, that'll be interesting."

John: "Years ago, as a boy, I remember the first time I seen the legendary Tommy Oliver face the original Red Ranger, Jason, in a high school tournament final. I slipped in the high school to see who would be the best at the time. Ofcourse, I didn't know anything about Power Rangers except what the news showed, but that match was intense. When I learned the history of the Power Rangers, and learned who they really were, I kept that match in my head growing up."

The other victorious rangers turned to hear John's story.
John: "It reminds me that even without our powers, we can still fight! And we'll always be Power Rangers!"

Scott: "Yeah!"

Frank: "You said it."

Kimlee: "Then lets make a promise."

They all turned to Kimlee, and for the first time noticed how pretty she really is dispite her gruelling match with Billy.

Kimlee: "If God Zedd somehow wins, and our powers are lost; lets keep fighting. Whatever he unleashes, we'll face him no matter what."

The ranger men thought for but a second, and agreed. They all turned back to the viewing crystal. Steven and Henry were still standing still.

Steven: "I'm no slouch, so don't hold back."

Henry: "I had no such plan."

They smiled at each other. God Zedd had enough of the prematch formalities,

God Zedd: "Steven, Henry; fight on!"

Steven and Henry got into a fighting stance (Cross My Line track plays). They run toward each other with a compettitor's will to fight (As lyrics for the song begin, they get to each other). They start by trading complicated hand attacks that are quick to the eye. They eventually make wider arm attacks but neither gets a strike in yet. They block each other's attacks as if they fought before. Steven ducks under Henry's arm barrage for a hand stand Brazilian style kick. Henry blocks and retaliates with something of a break dancing sweep. Steven got back on his feet fast enough to perform a back flip over Henry's sweep.

Noticing he's still on the floor, Steven attempts a one-foot stomp on Henry; but missed by an inch as Henry kick-flips(or nip-up, reference The Rock's standing recovery) to his feet. Henry, with his side exposed to Steven, turns with a jumping knife kick(or the famed 'Tommy' Kick). Steven ducks and rises with a standing roundhouse; and what appears to have become a kicking contest. The putties cheer as the mysterious rangers go into a roundhouse logirithm (a popular Brazilian melee where two opponants repeat spinning roundhouses purposly missing each other each time). Henry shakes it up by faking a roundhouse and catching Steven's leg on his exchange. Henry trips Steven to the ground and mounts on top of him.

Steven pulls a defensive switch and puts Henry at the bottom, but Henry still has him scissored with his legs. Steven takes a shot at Henry's ribs and scores the first real strike in the match. Steven goes for another punch but Henry scouted him out and caught his arm. Henry then lifts his legs to grasp Steven's arm in an arm-bar. Steven, seemingly no stranger to this, counters by grabbing Henry's right leg and flipping him over. Holding Henry's leg, he performs a ankle lock as Henry tries to hold balance with his arms and one free leg. Henry, feeling the effects of the leg hold, kicks Steven with his free leg and uses the momentum to leap a few feet away from him. The fighters got into stance to the loud cheers of the putties.

Inside the Victory Chamber, the rangers were speachless. Up in the Sky-Box, God Zedd was most impressed. Kyle didn't seem to be too taken by the match. He turned to God Zedd,

Kyle: "Master, shall I check on the defeated rangers and the Power ball?"

God Zedd was far too into the current fight to give Kyle's request much thought,

God Zedd: "Yes, yes, do as you will... Chief of Destruction! Hahaa!"

Kyle: "Um, yeah, Chief of Descruction... How could I forget... (Whispers) You loser.

Kyle slowly exits the Sky-Box. Back on the arena floor, Steven and Henry trade punch combos followed by wide kicks of varied styles. Steven scored a well placed kick to Henry and sent him stumbling backward. Taking his chance, Steven combat-rolled toward henry and leaped on to him; flipping him overhead in what widely known as a monkey flip. Henry recovered in the air and flipped to his feet. Steven grabbed Henry in a waist-lock before he could face him. Henry revearsed the hold to put a waist-lock on Steven. Henry executes a german-suplex only for Steven to back-flip out of it. Steven continued back-flipping away from Henry. Henry watched as got a considerable distance from him. On the last flip, Steven sported a morphing device and a smile.

Steven: "Good start, but let's really rumble! (Cross My Line music ends)"

Henry exposed his wrist mounted morpher, smiling as well,
Henry: "You first, man!"

Inside the Victory Chamber, the rangers take notice with a child-like anticipation. In the arena, Steven holds out his morpher. Then he forms an X with his arms,

Steven: "Xplosion Xtreme!!"

An X made of light forms around his arms and grows large enough to consume Steven. After thunder and lasers, the X shrinks back to Steven's arms; revealing the Primal Ranger! (Camera takes shots at different areas of his costume; chest, knee-pad, gloves...) The costume had the X insignia in several places and the helmet visor was in the shape of an X (with all respect to the creators original vision of his characters suit). He got into a stance as an X made of red light streams behind him. Henry appeared pleased,

Henry: "That's one nice suit. Hope you have extras..."
He raises his morpher,

Henry: "Cyber Force, Going Live!"

A green grid lines up on Henry. Suddenly in a quick flash of light he dissappears leaving only the green grid. A bar appears in front of him filling with red energy as numbers start adding up from 0%. The grid turns red and starts filling up with peices of a ranger costume. The bar shows the status 90%. Then the helmet of the Red Cyber Force Ranger appears to complete the body. After the bar designates 100%, it dissapears. The Red Cyber Force Ranger gets into stance,

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Downloaded."

Inside the Victory Chamber, the rangers are very much enjoying the show.

Kimlee: "Look at them!"

Frank: "That 'X' thing is awesome!"

Scott: "'Downloaded'? How cool is that?!"

John: "They're both incredible."

All of a sudden Kyle enters the Victory Chamber. The rangers turn to him, not happy to see him. Kyle raises his hand in friendly gesture,

Kyle: "Easy, I have something to tell all of you. God Zedd is..."

Kimlee: "Can this sort've wait till after the match."

John: "Yeah; zombie-slave or not, come check it out."

Kyle: "...Fine."

The Primal Ranger and the Red Cyber Force Ranger face off. The cheers of the putties clearly represent the mood of the match. The rangers in the Victory Chamber are standing very close to the viewing crystal. God Zedd himself is standing watch over the match; infact, every puttie was for the first time standing up.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Let's do it!"

Primal Ranger: "Bring it on!"

The rangers leaped toward each other. They traded two attacks before landing on the ground. They leaped again and traded two more attacks before landing. They leaped a third time, this time crashing into each other and landing together fighting all the way down. They fought in the speed only attributed to a Power Ranger. They came off as red blur until the Red Cyber Force Ranger chose to back off. He managed a foward-flip to the Primal Ranger's side and landed a sharp kick that created sparks upon impact.

The Primal Ranger recovered quickly, and performed a strange roundhouse that left a slanted red line of light on the Red Cyber Force Ranger's chest. The Red Cyber Force Ranger tried to punch the Primal Ranger, but he duck and gave another swift roundhouse that left a second red line of light creating an X on the Red Cyber Force Ranger. The Primal Ranger turned and crossed his arms,

Primal Ranger: "Xplode!"

The red X on the Red Cyber Force Ranger exploded as the Primal Ranger commanded and sent the Red Cyber Force Ranger flying. He slid on the floor a few yards before stopping himself with his arms. He got up and took stance,

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "I can't say that wasn't new. Guess I gotta bring out the big guns!"

With that said, the Red Cyber Force Ranger pulled out his wrist-mounted morpher. He held it toward his mouth,

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "MainFrame, upload Cyber Rifle."

A red grid in the shape of a rifle appeared in front of the Red Cyber Force Ranger. It fully amassed into the Cyber Rifle. It had a symbol in the shape of a wolf on the side.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Download complete!"

Seeing this, the Primal Ranger pulled out a blaster of his own. The arena floor soon lit up with blaster fire and small explosions. The rangers dodged and strafed while trying to land good shots. The Red Cyber Force Ranger couldn't move as fast with a larger weapon, so he took a shot or two from the faster Primal Ranger. He decided to change it up and split the rifle into duel blades.

The Primal wasn't unprepared, for he exposed a sword with a red X for it's hilt guard. The rangers quickly went into melee combat and sent red sparks flying in every direction. The Primal Ranger kicked away one of the Cyber Swords and sliced the Red Cyber Force Ranger twice in a stylish X pattern. The Primal Ranger took steps back to see if his opponent would fall. The Red Cyber Force Ranger did appear near defeated from the powerful strikes.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "I'm almost out. Time to get smart."

The near defeated ranger placed his wrist-mounted morpher before him,

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Copy, cut, and paste!"

Primal Ranger: "...What?!?"

The Red Cyber Force Ranger split into three Cyber Force Rangers. Each identical to the other. The Primal Ranger was confused, until he seen one of them holding their chest. The Primal Ranger remembered his attacks there and concluded that he must be the real Cyber Force Ranger. He charged with an X appearing behind him for a final strike. But the injured Cyber Force ranger disappeared along with the ranger to the right of him. The Primal Ranger struck into thin air as the Red Cyber Force Ranger readied his Cyber Rifle (Cyber Force theme plays).

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Gotcha! Cyber Rifle power up!"

The rifle starts to vibrate and glow.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Fire!"

The Primal Ranger couldn't dodge the high powered beam in time, he instead ran toward it with his sword in the air. He met with the beam in a great explosion, one that rocked the whole arena. Out of the explosion, amazingly, the Primal Ranger kept running toward the Red Cyber Force Ranger! (Cyber Force theme ends) When the Primal Ranger got to a surprised Cyber Force Ranger, he gave one last great thrust of his sword and sliced the rifle clean in half. The rifle disappeared, and the Primal Ranger fell to one knee.

Primal Ranger: "How's that for 'cut and paste'..?"

He nearly fell completely when the Red Cyber Force Ranger caught him.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "You took the blast head on to take out my rifle?!?"

Primal Ranger: "I was blinded by the blast, I was aiming for you."

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Can't say you missed."

The Red Cyber Force Ranger revealed a cut on his arm, the Primal Ranger managed to slice through his suit. A red mark could be seen under the sliced fabric.

Red Cyber Force Ranger: "I'm wounded, and you took my final blast head on. You win."

Primal Ranger: "I gave all my energy to get past that beam attack, I got nothing left. Go on to the Victory Chamber. Just remember what happened here."

The rangers both arose injured and tired. The arena was quiet.
Red Cyber Force Ranger: "Don't worry, I'll never forget."

In a powerful show of respect, the Primal Ranger raised the Red Cyber Force Ranger's arm. The arena erupted. Inside the Victory Chamber, the rangers were applauding the best show sportsmanship since the tournament began. In the arena Sky-Box, God Zedd admitted the quiet but but absolute ending with self powered red fireworks,

God Zedd: "The winner: Henry, Red Cyber Force Ranger!"

The putties cheered, though it was hard to guess if they were cheering any one of the bruised and hurt rangers. It's a good guess that the cheers were for both of them. The arena floor opened by the usual north and south ends. The rangers powered down, Henry holding his right arm.

Henry: "See you soon, man."

Steven, smiling, looked back with whatever energy he had left,
Steven: "Trust me, you'll see me soon, Henry. Go get 'em in the finals will ya!"

Henry: "You betcha!"

The putties lead them farther apart from each other until no one was on the arena floor. Only the large battle marks of a battle past.

Inside the Victory Chamber, Kyle gains the rangers attention,
Kyle: "If you'd let me explain my story you'd know by now; but I have to go."

Frank: "What for? Just tell us what we need to know!"

Kyle: "I can't! I have to accompany the losing Red Ranger in the Healing Chamber, to drain their powers."

John: "Drain our powers?!? You've got some explaining to do; cause you're closer to dealing with us than working us."

Kimlee "Yeah, why should we trust you?"

Frank: "It seemed like you were free before, but you obviously can't break God Zedd's spell (Eps. 7). How do we know you're free now?"

Scott: "Yeah, this could be a trick."

Kyle: "I can't explain how without wasting too much time! Henry is coming, I must be there when Steven makes it to the Healing Chamber. Just trust me, God Zedd's up to alot more than you think."

Putties arrive with Henry as Kyle hastely leaves for the Healing Chamber. Henry sees Kyle run past him showing little regard for his arm.

Henry: "Hey watch it!"

Kyle turns back,
Kyle: "Sorry..! I must go!"

Henry seemed surprised at his apology. He rested his injured arm on a table as the other victors crowed him. Kimlee checked his arm,

Kimlee: "So I guess he left a lasting mark for you, huh?"

Henry: "I wouldn't want it from anyone else."

Meanwhile in the 'Healing' Chamber. Steven lays weak on the floor. He raises himself to stumble toward one of the Healing Tubes. Then Kyle quickly enters the room. He had a sad expression on his face,

Kyle: "I'm sorry, but if I don't do this; we'll all lose our edge."

Kyle raised his right hand, still remembering the technique to drain powers. Steven was confused,

Steven: "Edge? Edge on what? What are you doing?"

Red energy formed around Kyle's right hand.

Kyle: "All I ask is that you trust me, just like I gotta trust you. After this, I've got one wild story to tell you about God Zedd."

Steven: "Whoever you are, whatever you're doing, can't be any less crazy than what you may have to tell me."

Kyle: "Can't argue with that. And by the way; good match."

Steven: "...Thanks."

Kyle: "I'm sorry."

Kyle started to reluctantly drain Steven, he was making it as painless as possible for the true victor of a great match. Back in the arena, God Zedd trickled with red energy.

God Zedd: "Halfway through. Yes, halfway through. The end of the Power Rangers is at hand... Long... live... ...me."

God Zedd stood up in a burst of energy, and started laughing. The entire stronghold echoed his maniacle laughter, as if with a promise of dark things to come.
