Well here's the prologue to the team up I'm working on, I know the other rangers haven't appeared in it yet but this is simply the setup.

Power Rangers: Last Line Defence.
Episode 7: The Last Stand - Prologue.

Angela walked through the streets of Garnett Sands, around her was nothing but desolation. She could barely remember what had taken place over the last few hours, but she could tell from just looking around that it couldn’t have been good…The team had morphed and fought two of Repulsors monsters, a sixth ranger had come to sight, turning out to be Becky, a girl from school who seemed to have developed a bit of a crush on the teams blue ranger, David. They had called upon their Zords to defeat Digmee and Airhead, they had used the Megazords Halo cannon to take down airhead but they had omitted one major point in the battle, the other monster, Digmee. Somehow, thought Angela, he managed to damage our zords, heavily too…if only I could remember how. However he had done it Digmee had managed to total the Zords and damage the ranger’s powers beyond use. It had been then, as they had accepted their ultimate defeat that the Ranger’s salvation had arrived, in the form of the sixth ranger’s Zord, although they had not known that at the time, the gigantic machine had laid down a sheet of flame over the battlefield, the rangers powers and zords were functional again and Digmee was destroyed. Apparently upon their return from collecting their Zords from Spernas, a sixth zord, the phoenix, had followed them back unbeknown to them. Then Kim and I went to the beach she recalled, we fought Plague Warriors…where were the others… she searched her memory as she heard screams and explosions erupting around her, They had gone to the other cities…Angel Grove and Mariner Bay, meanwhile herself and Kim had been attacked by Repulsor at the beach…they had taken more than a little damage during the battle with their arch nemesis before the others had shown up. The rangers summoned their Megazord, and used the recently activated Phoenix zord to form a new combination, but to no avail… Oh God no… thought Angela, The others! I have to check on them! She turned on the spot and ran back to the battleground.

The ruins of the Last Line Megazord lay on the ground of the city, it was totalled, there was no doubt about that. Artemis stood in what would once have been the cockpit of the mighty fighting machine, she saw no sign of the rangers, apparently the young people had been unable to withstand the force of the blast from Repulsor. She looked at her wrist, the small device that she had been o determined to get, determined that would end the war between herself and Repulsor…it was a blur of sorts now…she thought back to the conversation she had just finished upon the bridge of the megaship…

"Thank you rangers." Artemis greeted the people now displayed upon the Last Line Megaships viewscreen, "Although I fear that we are already too late to save the Last Line Rangers. I have scanned the area and have not been able to find any trace the rangers in the wreckage of the Megazord. I fear that they may have perished in the battle, that blow that Repulsor landed on the zords looked extremely powerful."
"Artemis." replied the ranger in red at the front of the other ships bridge, "Do not count the rangers out quite so fast, the rangers of earth are never quick to accept defeat, I myself learnt this when I met my teammates here, Though they may have been damaged, and possibly even have had their powers destroyed I have worked with members of every ranger team active on Earth and not one of them strikes me as the sort of person that would give up as long as they could breath."
"You are of course right Andros." agreed Artemis, there were known to be at least nine active teams of rangers with origins of some description on Earth, the original rangers mentored by Zordon, then there was a team powered by the Zeo crystal, the Turbo Rangers, the rangers she was stood talking to currently, the galaxy rangers - who although currently residing on the planet of Mirinoi, had on more than one occasion returned to defend the planet of their birth, the Lightspeed Rangers - the first man made ranger team, the Time Force rangers - although she had only been able to locate two of them for some time now, then there was the team of Shayla - the legendary Animarium warriors - or as they had come to be known in recent times, the Wild Force Power Rangers. And then there was the rumours of the attacks on Californias Ninja Academies, if the rumours of the powers that those 20 academys held were true then Artemis was sure that there would soon be more ranger teams rising up along the much fought over west coast. It was true that she had not been back in the battle to protect the Earth from the forces of evil for long but ever since she had heard the news of the loss of Zordon during the great invasion several years ago now she had decided that she needed to do something, something that went against everything she had ever sworn all of those years ago, to the Great Council of her home planet, Eltar.

She let her thoughts carry her even further back, to centuries, nay millennia before…

The gathered congregation sat in the main hall of the councils chambers in the capital city of the main continent of Eltar. A new planet had been revealed. It's name was Terra, or as the beings that occupied it prefered to call it, Earth. The great mystics of the council had determined that sometime in the distant future that the planet would play a hugely important part in maintaining, or possibly even creating the peace in the galaxy that was foretold in the great prophecies of Elrond. Due to this the council decided to take Earth under it's wing as a protectorate, to try to ensure that this prophecy could come to pass. Several of the planets elite force were chosen to reside on Earth for the duration, she had been one of them. Other figures in the room with her were more notable, the great Zordon, Dimitri and Talaris, even Shayla, daughter of the current King of Eltar was to travel to Earth to aid in it's protection. Artemis however did not agree with the decision of the council, it was, she thought, foolish to waste such resources on a backwards planet such as Terra. However she was overruled and the Eltarian Supervisory Force was sent anyway. Each protectorate was given a great force of some descript to help protect the planet with should the forces of evil ever attempt an invasion. Zordon was given the power of an ancient Earth creature species known as the dinosaur, as was at least one other member of the force. Dimitri was granted the Turbo crystal, an item that could supercharge any known source of power threefold. Talaris was gifted with potentially the most powerful, and in the wrong hands, dangerous of all, five sixths of the Zeo crystal, the other part being sent to the planet of Triforia to ensure that should Talaris' segments fall into the wrong hands that the full crystal would not be lost. Artemis was gifted with the powers of Water, something that she was told could prove essential on a planet that was two-thirds water.

It was only the second century of her term as earths protector, a mere blink of an Eltarian eye, when she decided that she had had enough, no forces of evil had attacked since...well ever, and she wasn't going to waster her time sat in the sea waiting for it to happen. No if she was to be condemned as keeper of the Aqua powers she was going to go somewhere that she could make them really useful. That somewhere was the planet Spernas.

'And that...' she thought, 'Is where I went wrong, I thought that the Earth wasn't important, and if I had not believed that then Zordon may have still been alive today, and we would not be in the predicament that we are in now.' Still, since then she had managed to locate a second set of powers, the power source was a secret to all but herself, the powers had proven to be at least a match for those of the Aqua crystal, perhaps even more powerful, she had yet to see the full extent of the Last Line Rangers, and given the recent turn of events, maybe she never would. However it was like Andros, the red space ranger had said, the human species was a resilient one and had been known to come back from far more debilitating states then the one that they were in now. At least for the moment she had the alliance of the Space Rangers to help her, and according to the still somewhat distraught Alpha, quite possibly the power of Zeo as well, although they currently had no mentor there was the possibility that if the rangers had been amply trained by their former mentor of Zordon then there was the possibility that they could, as with the space rangers, act as a fully autonomous unit. Perhaps that's why she'd felt so guilty. She had known that her team wasn't sufficiently trained to be left to operate by itself, and yet she had left them to fight Repulsor, a galactically feared villan, by themselves, returning just in time to see them destroyed by her long time nemesis. If only she'd waited, it wasn't as if she'd needed to go and retrieve what she had, it wasn't as if they were loosing their fight, she had just wanted to finish it sooner. If only she'd listened to the words of the Eltarian council, 'As defenders of the protectorate you should never use a power greater than that necessary, use only what you must to defeat an evil.' Although her fetching the device to the battle had not directly harmed her team she could not help but feel that if she had been around she could somehow have prevented them from facing this fate. She was broken out of her thoughts by the call of a familiar voice from down the road behind her…

“ARTEMIS!” called Angela as she ran, exhausted down the road to the fallen Zords, “…ARTEMIS!” As she reached the team’s mentor she looked around her…Damn it…it wasn’t just a dream, I had really hoped that when I got here it would all be gone and we could get back to normal.
“Angela?!” called Artemis as she saw the ranger run up to her.
“What…” gasped Angela, out of breath, “What about…the…” the look on Artemis’ face said it all, she had not seen the other rangers any more than she herself had.
“I…I’m sorry Angela…” stuttered Angela, she looked up suddenly, a look of desperate hope on her face, her voice rising in a crescendo, “But if you got out…”
“No.” replied Angela simply…she looked at her wrist. The communications buttons to the other five rangers that had been there previously were gone, “No. They didn’t.” Swallow it girl, she thought to herself as she looked at the city’s skyline, the mighty form of Repulsor continuing his attack on the city, You have more important things to worry about right now…but without the Zords what can I do? It was then that she heard the thunder of engines soaring above her, she could see a giant spacecraft bearing down on the creature, I remember that now…it fired on Repulsor just as we went down…so did another ship – our ship.
“Angela.” Artemis spoke, breaking Angela out of her train of thought, “I need you to take control of the megaship and continue the attack on Repulsor, the Astro Rangers are going to initiate their megazord to take the fight on the ground.”
“But Artemis…” started Angela.
“Angela.” Artemis interrupted, placing her hands on the young girls shoulders, “I know this is a lot to ask of you, you have just lost a number of friends, the likes of which that you may never know again, but there is a greater cause here. The world, perhaps even the galaxy is relying on you. You must defeat Repulsor, today however is not the day, for now drive him off, force him back to the moon. If you can do this I believe that I have something that can help us. I will meet you back in the Power Bunker when your task is complete. The Astro Rangers will be leaving for Mirinoi straight after, the planet was reported as being under attack from a pirate whilst we were en-route to Earth. Can you do that?”
She’s right, of course thought Angela, as she nodded, I knew that before she even said it…guess there’s only one thing for it now… she raised her left arm vertically, it’s fist level with the top of her head, her morpher ready, she pulled her swipe card from her back jeans pocket and ran it through the reader on the morpher, vertically downwards, “Ranger! Defend!” a flash of light later and the young girl had materialized, morphed upon the bridge of the Last Line Megaship. It looks so much bigger now, she thought, No, not bigger…emptier…she had a battle to fight and she couldn’t do it alone. By the time she had got to the megaship the Astro Rangers were overcoming Repulsor…it was time to get that help that she needed. Checking that the ship’s sensors were functional she powered up the engines and headed North, to find new allies.
