Zord Ideas

I need help thinking up ideas for zords. I want them to be different, since this team I'm working on is different from anything I've ever read. I've thought up a Sentai title and it is something like Digital Sentai DataRanger. Think something like MegaMan.EXE meets Power Rangers in the fact that the team will go onto the internet to fight the bad guys, at least for a little while. I also can't decide what kind of weapons to give them, but I'm not really to that part yet. The episode in which I introduce the weapons will be the episode when I introduce the zords...but the sooner I get them the better. Thanks for all your help (in advance).

Hmmm, you just thought of a idea i made. Anyways, If I were you I wouldn't focus on the zords. The zords are irrelevant to the sotry, you could try to make somthin like the time flyers.

Agreed. If you're fighting on the internet what I'd be inclined to do is forget the whole monsters growing idea, they're digital...does it make a difference? Unlikely.

Instead I'd allow them to 'data absorb' from objects, therefore increasing their power significantly. To overcome thsi give the rangers armoured forms instead of Zords, just give it to the full team rather than only the red ranger.

Of course if/when you leave the internet, then Zords become a distinct possibility, and I'm agreed, something like the flyers might be a good idea.

Sorry, just read the "want them to be different part" well the armour option would be different I admit, but so far as zords go the flyers just wouldn't be... What is your rangers base of operations like? If it is some sort of vehicle you could use that as a basis for a zord...

Maybe instead of using Zords, they could keep getting Mega Battles, only each one covers their entire bodies leaving no unprotected areas. They could have more and more Mega Battles, gradually making them bigger and bigger.

Or you could always use Boat Zords. I don't think anyone's done that yet.

How about Jet type zords that transform into robts that looks like the Rangers only with samri armor.

Well, the ranger team itself is a little different. I won't be introducing the zords for a little bit. But I do like the armor idea. Just read the first two parts and then give me some ideas. Part one should be up on wednesday, if everything goes as planned.
