Act One: Scene One: The Hot Spot Rec. Center

[The kids were enjoying their first three-day weekend from school. The guys decided to spend it at Crystal Beach. Inside the recreation center alot of kids were having fun hanging out. Some were playing some basketball, some attended martial art classes that were being conducted, and even some arcade matches were being waged. Inside the cafe area, we find Jaime and Kelly flirting with some guys that they had met on the beach earlier. Jaime and Kelly were borth wearing long skirts that covered their two piece bathing suits. Jaime was talking with a young Philipino boy, he had brown curly hair, and he was wearing some blue and green swimming trunks, his name was Alex; Kelly was talking with an older Caucasian boy, he had short blonde hair and he was wearing some blue and white swimming trunks; he was carrying his surf board, his name was Robert]

KELLY:
So Robert, caught any large waves yet?

ROBERT:
I caught a few this morning. I'm waiting for the really big ones that I've heard so much about.

ALEX:
Why so you can get wiped out again?

ROBERT:
If you want to keep your lips, I'd suggest that all smart comments be kept to yourself.

KELLY:
Now now boys, let's not fight like this.

ALEX:
Yeah Robert, don't spoil the beauty of the atmosphere while I'm trying to get to know this lovely angel.

ROBERT:
Whatever. Hey Kelly you want to go out and play some volleyball?

KELLY:
I'd love to, but you may have to teach me. I havent played this game since I was in Elementary school.

ROBERT:
Don't worry I'll show you how to play step by step.

[As Robert led Kelly out the door towards the beach area, she looked back at Jaime and winked her eye; she knew how to play the game, she just wanted to play vulnerable to get closer to Robert. Minutes later Chris and Jonathon came walking up next to Jaime and Alex. Chris was wearing a green tropical buttoned shirt with no undershirt an some green and yellow shorts; Jonathon wore a dark and baby blue buttoned shirt withnot an undershirt and some dark blue shorts]

JAIME:
What are you two up to?

JONATHON:
Just got through playing a few rounds of basketball. Of course my team won, like there was going to be a contest.

CHRIS:
You wouldn't have won if your team member hadn't fouled me.

JONATHON:
Save all that drama for your momma.

JAIME:
This is turning out to be a great three-day weekend. I wonder where Adrian is?

JONATHON:
I tried waking him up this morning, but he wouldn't budge. My pops said leave him alone and let him sleep.

ALEX:
He don't know what he's missing.


Scene Two: Adrian's Bedroom

[We travel into the Thomas house and up the stairs to the next floor. We come to two rooms that face each other. The door on the right leads into Jonathon's bedroom, the one on the left leads us into Adrian's bedroom. We enter to find a white room that is darkened with red drapes over the windows. On the wall are pictures of different sports atheletes and cheerleaders. In his large king size bed, Adrian was sound asleept under his large comforter; but the sleep he was having was not the kind that was peaceful. We dive into his subconcious to find out what could be causing his restless sleep]


Scene Three: Dense Forest

[Adrian is seen walking around a large dense wooded forest. He's wearing his night clothes, white tank top and some gray sweatpants, with a red durag on his head. He walks around wondering where he was and how he got there. Loud noises begin to ring out through the area making Adrian feel uneasy]

ADRIAN:
Man, where am I and how can I get out of here?

VOICE:
You must face your fear.

ADRIAN:
Who said that? Come out and show yourself.

VOICE:
Before you can face me young one, you must first face up to your fear.

ADRIAN:
What fear are you talking about?

[Suddenly a large shadow appeared over Adrian. He turned around and saw something growling at him. Just as he began to scream he awoke from his dream]


Scene Four: Adrian's Bedroom

[Adrian began wrestling in the bed screaming " No no get away from me!!". As he continued to toss and turn he threw himself out of the bed on to the floor. He realized that the dream was over and that he was again in his own room]

ADRIAN:
Dang, that's the second time this week I've had that dream. I don't wanna face that again. I'm just going to keep myself awake and not go to sleep

Act Two: Scene One: The Hot Spot Rec. Center

[The next day Adrian sat in the cafe area at a booth trying to keep himself from going back to sleep; he wore a white shirt with black stripes, a white tank topunderneath, and some black shorts. Every few minutes he would lean his head forward to fall asleep, but he would catch himself and wake up. His eyes were beginning to look drowsy and became not only harder to keep his eyes open, but to see. Everything he saw was very blurry. Jaime came and sat in front of him and saw how he looked; she was wearing her bathing suit outfit that she wore the day before]

JAIME:
Adrian, you don't look so good, what going on?

ADRIAN:
If I told you, you wouldn't believe me.

JAIME:
Come on and try me. I'm sure there's nothing you can tell me that I wouldn't believe.

ADRIAN:
I'm having nightmares that are keeping me up at night. I've had this one dream where I'm running through some trees and I hear a strange voice telling me to face my fear.

JAIME:
Do you know who the voice belongs to?

ADRIAN:
Nope, but it seems to know what my worst fear is and it sends it after me. I try to escape but I end up waking up on the floor. Its the second time this week that its happened and I don't want to go back to sleep.

JAIME:
What is your worst fear?

ADRIAN:
I can't tell you. Its too embarrassing to even mention outloud.

JAIME:
Adrian you've got to learn to trust people. If you can't trust your best friend, then who can you trust?

ADRIAN:
Well all right, I have a fear of bears.

JAIME:
Where did this fear come from?

ADRIAN:
Some years ago when I was little, my dad took me to see the circus. One of the bears got loosed and rampaged through the tent. My parents and I were trying to race out of the tent with the rest of the audience, but I got pushed over the guardrail on to the bottom floor. The bear saw me and charged at me and was getting ready to attack. I was scared stiff, but the trainers got it under control without me being hurt, but ever since then I've feared bears.

JAIME:
Whoa and you've been keeping that in all this time?

ADRIAN:
Yeah. I don't understand though, these dreams didn't start until that day after we fought Nephesh's monster Hot Wire.

JAIME:
With the way you look, you can deprive yourself of sleep. Your body is going to need rest.and if you keep denying it that, when it comes time to battle Nephesh's next attack, you won't be able to stand against it. Maybe you oughta face your fear.

[Unknown to the both of them, a strange woman wearing a red and black two piece bathing suit and a long brim hat, with black shades was listening in on their conversation. When she lowered her shades she revealed herself to Karra herself]

KARRA:
It seems like the spell that Nephesh placed on the red ranger is taking effect just nicely. I think I should inform the master about this.

[She quickly gets up and leaves the Hot Spot]


Scene Two: Steelman Complex II

[Lord Nephesh was in his office briefing his Dark Minions on their attack plan. Just as he was about to finish, Karra came strolling in. She stood next to the door awaiting for Nephesh to acknowledge her]

NEPHESH:
Ah, Karra darling, do you have any news to report?

KARRA:
Yes master I certainly do.

NEPHESH:
Very good. Minions leave me for now until I am prepared to strike.

[The Dark Minions all teleport away from the office leaving the two alone. Karra walked over to the deak and sat on the front of it]

NEPHESH:
What is your report?

KARRA:
It seems that the spell you placed on the red ranger has been taking effect without that little sorceress knowing anything about it. He's trying to stay awake without having to fall asleep.

NEPHESH:
Excellent my dear, by the time I create a new monster to attack them, he'll be to weak to fight back destroying him once and for all.

KARRA:
Master might I make a suggestion that could enhance your master plan?

NEPHESH:
What is that my dear?

KARRA:
Place another spell over the red ranger and this time make his worst fear become reality.

NEPHESH:
Make his dream come to pass. Smart thinking Karra, I'll send some Minions to attack him while I apply the spell. He thinks that his nightmares are something, just wait till he meets them face to face.


Scene Three: Downtown Crystal Lake

[SInce it was the middle of the day, there wasn't much traffic on the road of the city. Adrian was riding his motorbike down the middle of the Main Street heading home. Although he still felt drowsy for lack of sleep, he kept his control over his bike]

ADRIAN:
I can't wait to get home. If my dad were to catch me driving while being drowsy, he would kill me. I just gotta keep my eyes open till I can get to the house.

[Adrian was coming up to an intersection when he quickly dozed off. He didn't realize that he had gone through a red light and was plowing through a full lane of traffic. When one of the cars blew their horn, it woke him up just in time to swerve through traffic to get to the other side of the busy intersection.e could hear people behind him swearing at him with every word that they could spare. As he was going a little further down the street a black limo suddenly jetted out of an alley in front of Adrian. He wasn't able to swerve around it and crashed into the hood. The impac was so hard that it threw him off his bike and ito a grove of bushes. When he got up and brushed himself off, he saw who the limo belonged to when the Dark Minions climbed out]

ADRIAN:
What are you guys doing here and what do you want?

DARK MINION:
The master requests your presence.

ADRIAN:
Tell your master that I have better places to go than to see his ugly skull.

DARK MINION:
Pity, we thought we could handle this the easy way, but it seems like you have to be dealt with the hard way.

[Adrian stood in a fighting pose ready to attack. The seven Dark Minions surreounded him preparing to attack. One side kicked at him, but he was able to grabbed the Minion's foot, but he wasn't quick enough to block another Minion's kick to his back knocking him another Minion who drove his fist into Adrian's chest. Bowed over in pain, the Dark Minions grabbed Adrian's arms nd held. A flash of lightning appeared and materialized Lord Nephesh walking towards him]

NEPHESH:
This is the beginning of the end for you ranger.

Act Three: Scene One: Downtown Crystal Lake

[Adrian was being held by Nephesh's Dark Minions. He was overpowered because of his weakness from his lack of sleep. Nephesh was standing with his staff aimed straight at]

NEPHESH:
You think you've witnesses your nightmares now, wait until you fall asleep and see what happens.

ADRIAN:
Let me go dead beat.

NEPHESH:
You're the one that's about to be dead.

[Nephesh fired a purple beam into Adrian's forehead causing him to scream in pain. He soon dropped his head becoming unconcious. Out of nowhere two energy beams blasted the ground around NEphesh and his Dark Minions causing them to drop Adrian to the ground. When they looked up to see who it was attacked them, they saw Fire Storm Green and Yellow standing with their Storm Sabers]

FIRE STORM GREEN:
It's a good thing that we were near by when Arrian paged us.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
Just what do you think you're doing with him?

NEPHESH:
Making his nightmare come true. Now I'm about to make yours come true too. Minions take care of the intruders.

DARK MINIONS:
Yes master.

[Nephesh teleported away from the area as the Dark Minions raced into battle against the rangers. Both rangers looked at each other and charged their sabers up to full power. They soon whirled them in a circle in front of them creating a ring of flames. They thrusted the rings of fire at the Minions which exploded sending them all fying to the ground. Quickly, they all got up and climbed back into the limo and drove off leaving the rangers to take care of Adrian]

FIRE STORM GREEN:
Ahh man, he looks like he's hurt. We better get him home quick.


Scene Two: Steelman Complex II

[The Dark Minions were back in Nephesh's office begging him not to destroy them on their hands and knees]

DARK MINION:
Please master don't destroy us. We're ashamed that we failed you against those two rangers.

NEPHESH:
Stop your whining and get up off the floor. I'm not going to destroy you,this is going to plan just like I hoped.

DARK MINION:
What do you mean master?

NEPHESH:
The end of the rangers will begin when the red ranger takes that trip to dreamland and find his nightmare waiting on him.

KARRA:
Yes he'll be too scared to fight against his own fear and let his friends be destroyed by his own imagination gone wild.


Scene Three: Command Chamber

[Fire Storm Green and Yellow brought Adrian to the Medical Lab and placed him on one of the medtables. Arrian came in to see if Adrian was all right, he was soon waking up]

ARRIAN:
Be careful Adrian you don't wanna sit up to quickly.

ADRIAN: What's going on, where am I?

CHRIS:
You don't remember anything?

ADRIAN:
All I remember was heading home and being attacked by Nephesh's goons. Its a complete blank afte that. My head hurts real bad for some reason.

ARRIAN:
I have a feeling Nephesh is up to something with what's been going on in your mind. Let me find out what kind of spell he used with my wand.

[Arrian takes her wand and waves over Adrian's head and senses some kind of spell, but not what it is exactly]

ARRIAN:
Just as I thought, Nephesh has cast some kind of spell over your mind, what kind I can't seem to know.

ADRIAN:
What are we going to do? I mean isn't there something that can be done?

ARRIAN:
Until the next move is made we can't do anything.

ADRIAN:
That's just great.

JAIME:
You need to get some rest so you can get your strength back. Don't worry we'll be here if you need us.

CHRIS:
Oh, I can't, I promised Jose that I'd help him with the afternoon weekend crowds.

JAIME:
Well I'll stay with Adrian, tell Alex I'll see him tomorrow at the Center.

CHRIS:
Will do. Check you guys later.

[Opens a portal and walks through it closing it behind him. Adrian sits up on the medtable and grabs a hold of Jaime's hand. She turns and eases him down on the table to rest]

JAIME:
Calm down Adrian its going to be all right. Just get some rest. If you need me I'll be in the control room with Arrian.

[Adrian lays back down, still looking into Jaime's eyes. Before she leaves, she leans forward and kisses him on his forehead. Adrian watches Jaime leave and then closes his eyes to sleep. Minutes later he begins tossing and turning on the bed like he did at home in his bed. Suddenly he shoots up from the table letting out a loud scream]

ADRIAN:
NO, COME BACK!!

[Arrian and Jaime rushed into the room and woke Adrian up. He began looking around as if he was searching for something or someone]

ADRIAN:
Where is he, where did he go?

JAIME:
Adirian calm down, where did who go?

ADRIAN:
I know the spell that Nephesh placed on me.

ARRIAN:
What kind was it?

ADRIAN:
A dream releaser.

ARRIAN:
Oh my goodness, that means that whatever you dream will come to life. Now I see his demonic plan. He placed a spell on you to make your nightmares come to life and destroy you.

[Suddenly the Distress Alarm began blaring through the Chamber. Arrian and Jaime ran to the contol consoles and pulled up a viewing screen of the trouble. In the middle of downtown Crystal Lake a large brown grizzly with large sharp claws was tearing through the area]

ADRIAN:
He's brought my worst fear to life.

JAIME:
Now is the time Adrian.

ADRIAN:
Huh? Time for what?

ARRIAN:
To face your fear.

[Adrian stood looking at his two friends and then back to the screen of the large monstrous bear]

COMMERCIALS:



Act Four: Scene One: Command Chamber

[Adrian stood watching as the figment of his imaginzation was rampaging through the streets of the city. He had to face the fact that he was going to have to face this creature head on]

ADRIAN:
I don't know if I enough strength to handle this.

ARRIAN:
Yes you do Adrian you have the power to overcome your weakness. If you didn't the Fire Crystal wouldn't have chosen you to be its user.

JAIME:
She's right Adrian, you've got to reach deep inside yourself and tap into that unfound strength.

[Adrian lowered his head with his eyes closed for a moment. He then looked up at both the girls with a determined look]

ADRIAN:
All right. Let's do this and get it over with.

ARRIAN:
Great. I'll contact the others and have them meet you at the monster's location.

ADRIAN:
Thanks Arrian, you ready Jaime?

JAIME:
I was born ready.

BOTH:
FIRE STORM TRANSFORM!!

[Fire Storm Yellow Transformation]

[Fire Storm Red Transformation]


Scene Two: Downtown Crystal Lake

[The large monstrous grizzly was ripping through large concrete buildings with its razoe sharp claws. Debris began tumbling down upon many of the people below; its loud soundwave roar caused more damage to cars and buildings. When he opned his mouth again he fired a large white and yellow energy blast that ripped through a large chunk of ground, causing an explosion sending helpless people to the ground. As it was making it's way further down the street energy blasts began blasting it. The rangers stood before it standing in battle poses ready to attack]

FIRE STORM RED:
You guys we have to take down this creep now before he is able to do any damage.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
How do you propose we handle him?

FIRE STORM RED:
We can attack from all sides. Jaime and I attack from front and back and the other from either side. I've got to face this fear once and for all.

FIRE STORM BLUE:
This time you won't have to face it alone. We got your back bro.

FIRE STORM RED:
Thanks man, I needed to hear that. Let's tame this beast once and for all.

[The rangers drew their Storm Sabers and charged towards the large bear. Fire Storm Red and Yellow slashed at it but it blocked their blades. Just when it was about to strike them Fire Storm Blue and Pink rushed from behind and slashed it sending sparks flying off of its body. It released Fire Storm Red and Yellow's Saber blades allowing them to slash it across the chest sending more sparks flying off its body. Standing on nearby building Karra watched the attack commencing on the ground. She started sending a telepathic message to Nephesh about the bear monster losing against the rangers]

KARRA:
**Master the creature is losing against the rangers. Some how the Red ranger is able to stand up against it and not be afraid**

NEPHESH:
**The ranger must be getting extra confidence from the other rangers around him. He must be isolated when facing up against the creature. Only then will he begin feeling the fear and lose confidence. Have the bear isolate the Red ranger**

KARRA:
**Yes master it shall be done** Playtime is over rangers. There seems to be too many cooks in this kitchen. **Creature of evil to destroy the red ranger, you must isolate yourself and him away from the others**

[The telepathic message was received by the creature. As the rangers raced towards him to attack again, the creature opened its mouth and let out a huge roar blast that sent the rangers to the ground. He walked over to the downed red ranger and grabbed him and teleported away in a ball of white energy. The other rangers got to their feet and started looking around to find any trace of where the bear could've taken Fire Storm Red]

FIRE STORM GREEN:
What was that all about?

FIRE STORM PINK:
I don't know but we have to find him.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
I think that's their plan. They knew that with us helping Adrian that he wouldn't be afraid of the monster, so they isolated him alone with the bear to make him more fearful of his nightmare and not able to fight back.

FIRE STORM BLUE:
We've got to hurry and find him. **Arrian can you trace a lock on where that Yogi imposter took Adrian?**

ARRIAN:
**I do have a lock on Adrian's whereabouts. The bear monster took him to the Dream Dimension to battle him alone. Unfortunately, there is no way to teleport you there, only a being from the Dimension can teleport someone in or out of there**

FIRE STORM BLUE:
That means Adrian is trapped in there.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
Yeah that is if he can defeat his nightmare and finally be released from there. Until then Adrian is on his own.

[BlueFireStorm]

Scene Three: Dream Dimension

[In the dark realm of the Dream Dimension, Fire Storm Red and the bear monster stood off in battle. The bear began roaring with its claws in the air causing lightning bolts to jolt through the darkened sky. Fire Storm Red stood with his Storm Saber ready for whatever was about to happen]

FIRE STORM RED:
I don't know where we are or why you brought me here, but once I done slicing your butt up, you'll wish you hadn't.

BEAR:
Don't even try it Adrian, I can feel the fear inside of you beginning to grow as I speak.

FIRE STORM RED:
You don't know what you're talking about.

BEAR: How wouldn't I if I'm the fear that makes up your nightmares at night. Now your nightmares are going to spell your destruction.

[The bear was right, fear had grown stronger in Adrian's mind. He stood nervous with his weapon in hand preparing for the bear to strike. Suddenly the bear began attacking, he had extended his claws a little further to make them into sharp blades. Their weapons clashed repeatedly sending bolts of energy flying into the air, but because of his fear, Adrian wasn't able to prevent the monster from slashing over and over again. Fire Storm Red fell to his knee in pain trying to keep his balance, the monster began walking towards him]

BEAR:
No one has told you that I can't be defeated in my own realm

FIRE STORM RED:
Well you know what they say, "There's a first time for everything".

BEAR:
I'm going to take great pleasure in destroying you Adrian. That way you won't have to worry aboaut nightmares keeping you up at night. Don't worry about Jonathon, once I'm inside his little mind he won't be difficult to bring down.

FIRE STORM RED:
You stay away from my family.

BEAR:
You can't do anything about it anyway.

[The bear walked towards Fire Storm Red and with one fell swoop, he knocked the red ranger through the air and into the trunk of a large tree. The beatened ranger laid on his back in pain, when he looked up he saw the bear standing over him with his claw ready to strike]

BEAR:
Before I strike you down, have any last words?

FIRE STORM RED:
Yeah..I do have something to say. Kiss off!!

BEAR:
Die human!!

[Just as the bear raised its claw in the air to stroke Fire Storm Red, it gave the ranger a chance to reach and grab his saber and ram straight into the bear's chest. It caused the monster to stumble back and begin dissolving into vaporizing smoke. Soon there was nothing left but Fire Storm Red's saber on the ground. When picked it up he was soon teleported back to the real world]


Scene Four: Downtown Cyrstal Lake

[While the rangers were helping people who were badly injured from the attack, Fire Storm Yellow stood off away from the others waiting for Adrian to come back]

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
Come on Adrian I know you can face your fear.

FIRE STORM PINK:
You think he's all right?

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
I sure hope so.

FIRE STORM BLUE:
Knowing how my brother is, he's got to make it. He's too strong willed to let some monster beat him.

FIRE STORM RED:
I'm glad you guys have confidence in me.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
Adrian you're back.

FIRE STORM RED:
I finally faced it down and won.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
How were you able to do it?

FIRE STORM RED:
After he threatened to harm Jon, something inside of me rose up. I was able to defeat him on the bases that I couldn't have allowed to harm the ones I hold dear.

FIRE STORM YELLOW:
I knew you were able to do it. Now with your worst fear destroyed the spell is also broken off you.

FIRE STORM RED:
Now I can get a good nights sleep. In fact with the way I feel now, let's go home.

FIRE STORM BLUE:
I hear ya bro.


Scene Five: Steelman Complex II

[Nephesh sat in his office, with his eyes fully glowing purple, with arms folded in front of him. His office door slowly opened and Karra peered from behind]

NEPHESH:
Ah Karra come in, your just the person I wanted to see.

KARRA:
Master, please don't be furious with me, I'm sorry that I failed you today.

NEPHESH:
Oh don't worry about it. I have something to share with you. I would tell you outloud but these walls have ears and who knews who is hearing in.

KARRA:
Yes master.

[Karra slowly walked into the office and over towards Nephesh. When she was about a few feet from the desk, Nephesh transported himself from the chair next to Karra and grabbed her by her neck almost choking her]

NEPHESH:
You listen and listen good. Let today be the last time you fail me. If you ever bomb out like you did today I will rip your very soul and devour it for dinner.

KARRA:
I won't fail again master.

NEPHESH:
See that you don't, now leave me.

[Nephesh released her to fall to the floor. She quickly got to her feet and raced out the office. Nephesh walked over to the window and looked over the city]

NEPHESH:
As far as you're concerned rangers the power that shall destroy you is soon to come. When it arrives not even your precious Arrian will be able to stand against it.

Act FIve: Scene One: Adrian's Bedroom

[After a rough week, Adrian was excited to finally have a peaceful sleep. He was putting on the rest of his night clothes and climbed into bed. Reaching over he turned the light out. Just as he was about to drift off to sleep, his cell phone rung. Tunring the light back on he reached inside his pants pocket and grabbed his phone. On the caller ID he recognized the number to be Jaime's]

ADRIAN:
((Jaime, what's up?))

JAIME:
((Nothing, just calling to see if you were all right))

ADRIAN:
((Oh yeah I'm straight. I was just about to go to sleep.))

JAIME:
((I just wanted to call and say great job today.))

ADRIAN:
((Thanks))

JAIME:
((Well I'll let you get your sleep on. I'll talk to you later))

ADRIAN:
((Sure. I'll talk to you later.))

[They both hung up and Adrian placed his phone back in his pants pocket. He turned off the light again and laid his head back, closing his eyes to sleep. Suddenly he began twitching in his sleep and tossing around under the covers. We soon get a visual of what he was seeing. In his dream in front of him was the entire downtown under a great amount of flames, buildings destroyed, cars, trucks, and other vehicles destroyed, turned over, wrecked. Adrian stood in horror as he watched the carnage. Soon the same voice that instructed him before to face his fear was laughing through the air]

ADRIAN:
Who are you what do you want with me?

VOICE:
To see what your future is going to be like.

ADRIAN:
I thought that when I destroyed that bear that the spell was broken off.

VOICE:
I'm no spell, what Nephesh did was enhance my powers, but you shall all feel the full wrath of my power.

[Suddenly, as he did before he shot up from under the covers. This time he was drenched in warm sweat and his body was warm. The thing that horrified him the most was that his sheets were all full of smoke]

ADRIAN:
What does this mean, and who is out to destroy us besides Nephesh?


ADRIAN:
Next Time On Fire Storm

To answer your question, they do fight footsoldiers called Dark Minions. They are demonic creatures that wear metallic armor. Some fight on the ground and some fight in the air with their wings. When they're not fighting the rangers they are doing Lord Nephesh's biddings disguised as men in black business suits.
