Power Rangers Aura: Episode 3: True Blue

[Clu-less]

"Maria's been awfully quiet." Adam said.

"Please, don't remind me of that bitch." Suki rolled her eyes. They sat at Morena's, the small beach front cafe that Maureen Ortega owned outside of her Ortega Autosports venture. Suki tapped her Manolo Blahnik boots on the ground, her red belly shirt showing her navel, which was pierced in three places. Two other piercing showed clearly through her red shirt. Her hair was in cornrows and she was wearing big hoop earrings. "She gets on my nerves enough being evil, much less the fact she slept with you."

"You know, eventually you'll have to get over this." Adam said. He was wearing a black tanktop and blue jeans with a black belt and a black belt. "I mean, it's been a two weeks."

"This type of stuff takes a lifetime of therapy." Suki said.

"You know, not to be rude, but how many piercings do you have?" Coralis asked as she fixed her wet black and pink bikini top. Her pink and white Nike's were off her feet and in the warm sand and her pink thong bikini bottoms were loosely covered by a pink towel with Tweety on it.

"Yeah, man, since you're tits are pretty much blowing in the breeze anyways." Letty said as she took a sip of lemonade. She was wearing a yellow Roxy shirt and black guys swimming trunk. "Perhaps you'd like to put those away for all our sakes"

"I'm not sure, I think she looks nice." Tommy said. He was wearing gold rimmed sunglasses. He had on a black t-shirt and khaki shorts, with tan Timberland boots. "It's the whole 'gangsta' image thing." The Rangers all laughed. "What?" Tommy asked.

"Just you saying gangsta is extremely funny. Or horrifying, I'm not sure which." Coralis said.

"To answer your question, i've got three piercing in my navels, five in each ear, one in my nose, a tongue ring, a lip stud, two nipple rings, and a clitoral hood piercing." She said. "So how many is that?"

"Did you say clitoral hood piercing?" Letty asked. The question kinda hung, almost like someone else was supposed to answer it. "Are we missing something?" Letty asked.

"I don't know." Coralis said. "I've felt like this ever since this morning."

"Me too." Tommy said as he took a quick sip of his Coke. Then it popped into his mind. "Clu."

"Huh?" Adam asked.

"Clu. We forgot Clu this morning." Tommy said.

"You sure as hell did!" Clu yelled. The Rangers turned around to see Clu in a blue tanktop that was drenched with sweat and blue jean shorts. He walked slowly to the table and slumped down in a chair. "Thanks for not leaving me my own car, Coralis!" He growled.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't even thinking straight." Coralis said. "I thought we had you one the way out."

"No one woke me up." Clu said as he snatched Suki's smoothie away from her and swallowed it in one big gulp, then finished it off with a burp. "So, what's up, dudes?"

"Well, we were asking Suki about her piercing, and then she said she had a clitoral hood piercing..."

"Ow! Damn, next thing you know you'll asking Frog Boy to get a Prince Albert!" He said. The Rangers all clapped for him. "What?"

"We needed our comic relief." Letty said. "That's what was missing."

"I'd like to propose a toast." Coralis rose her Corona in the air. "To, without a doubt, the most sexually active, most horny, foul mouthed, multicultural, kickass group of Power Rangers in history."

"I would toast to that but Clu polished of my fucking smoothie." Suki pouted. Everyone laughed and touched glasses.

"Well, poor little Blue Ranger feels left out." Maria said, rolling her eyes. "What has that got to do with me getting my revenge on my family and on Adam and that beaver-pussied bimbo Suki?"

"Well, if one Ranger is out of sync, the rest usually fall outta sync too!" Elgar said. "Just wait, this thing will play itself out."

"Aw...wow, you are turning out to be useful." Maria said. "Now, I want a monster. One that will help escalate this situation further."

"Don't worry, boss, I got just the monster for the job!" Elgar laughed.

Adam stood still, blindfolded with his Aura Rod in hand. Tommy circled around him, a kendo stick in his hand. Tommy charged as quietly as he could, but Adam caught him in the stomach. Tommy rooled behind himbutadam flipped foward., swung around and hit Tommy in the stomach again. Adam heard the whistle of a kendo stick behind him. He grabbed it and flipped Letty above his head, sending her crashing to the ground. Tommy swung overhead and Letty as his feet. As if he had the ability to shrink, her curled his body into a ball, dodging both blows. He then he hit Tommy with another shot to the abs, then sommersaulted backwards as Letty advanced. He tripped over something and fell to the ground.

"Ah, dude, are you okay?" Clu tried to help him up, but Adam growled and whipped his blindfold off. "What?" Clu asked.

"Clu...I thought we said you weren't gonna be fighting, man." Adam said as he rejected Clu's extended hand. "Seriously, you're so clumsy sometimes."

"Dude, I'm sorry, I bent down to tie my shoe, excuse me for living." Clu said, copping an attitude. "Damny, man, I guess unlike you I'm not human, I can't make mistakes." Clu said as he started walking away from the group on the bech.

"Clu, that's not what I meant!" Adam yelled to him.

Clu stopped and turned to him. "Dude...all I am to you guys is the comic relief. What's the point of even being a Ranger, you guys don't fucking trust me." He said. he turned around and started walking back towards the boardwalk.

"Nice going, Adam." Letty said as she brushed the sand off her body and hurried to catch up with Clu.

"What did I do?" Adam asked.

Clu started his Acura RSX, but Letty knocked on his window. Clu sighed and unlocked the door. Letty opened it and climbed in. "What?" He asked.

"Adam didn't mean any harm." Letty said.

"Let...I'm just the guy that tells bad jokes and says stupid shit when the team is feeling down so they get back up. But I'm also a Ranger, man. And it seems like no one gets that sometimes, you know? Like I'm just...trapped in this dismal life of being the dumb surfer from California. Dude, no one seems to know that I've got a 225 IQ. I mean, when there's something wrong with the ship, who fixes it? Me. But no one seems to notice that little fact. It's totally unfair the way I get treated, man."

"Clu...we don't all feel that way." Letty said. "I don't think you're just comic relief."

"Sure. You're just saying that." Clu said.

"I don't." Letty said. "I think you do all that stupid stuff for attention...and that this whole smart side of you is sexy."

"Really?" Clu asked.

"Yeah." Letty smiled.

"Alright, dudderina, then let's get it on!" Clu yelled. Letty's smile totally disappeared as she exited the car, slamming the door on the way out. "Dammit!" Clu yelled. "I'm such a fuck up!" His communicator went off. "Aw, great. Just what I need. More fucking stress..."

"Maria!" AuraGold yelled as the AuraRangers arrived. AuraBlue arrived last and folded his arms across his chest.

"Damn, do you have to say my name everytime you see me?" Maria asked. "Enviaton!"

"At your service!" The gold and silver plated warrior said. He had a huge blaster in his hands.

"You know the plan." Maria said as she disappeared.

"Wow, she's using monsters now." AuraRed said. "Guess she was running out of ideas on how to screw us."

"Oh trust me, I'm just as bad, Rangers!" Enviaton said.

"I got this guy!" AuraBlue charged forward. "AURA SPARKS!" Two clubs appeared in his hands. "Oh no way, everyone else gets cool weapons and I get to be Captain Fucking Caveman?" He growled.

"Clu, watch out!" AuraGold pushed him out of the way as a blast flew towards him.

"Dude, what are you doing?" AuraBlue asked.

"Alright, guys, let's take him!" AuraBlack said. The girls nodded and charged. The four Rangers attacked Enviaton.

Meanwhile, under his blue helmet, Clu was fuming. "I get it...you pushed me out of the way to get all the glory again." He said sadly to Tommy.

"What?" AuraGold said. "What are you..."

"No need to explain anything. I'm outtie." AuraBlue said as he walked away. AuraGold started after him, but a call from his teammates compelled him back to the battle. AuraBlue looked back at what he thought was his team. "Yeah...some team." He sighed heavily and continued to walk away.

"Where is he going?" AuraYellow asked as she got kicked in the stomach. Enviaton laughed. "Part one of the plan is a success! See you later Power Pukes!" He disappeared.

"What the hell was that supposed to mean?" AuraRed asked.

"Better yet, why did Clu leave?" AuraPink asked.

"He thinks I pushed him out of the way of that blast to gain some glory, or something crazy like that." AuraGold said.

"What?" AuraBlack asked. "That's crazy."

"He better find him, if I know Clu, he'll do something drastic." AuraPink said.

[Clu-less]

Clu looked at the first picture the Rangers had taken after they got their powers. He had thought that was what Power Rangers was about-the team. But as he thought about it, it was always someone else that got the glory-never the team.

"And today in Brookstone Park, yet another monster plagued our city." He heard the news reporter said. Clu sighed and turned to look at the screen, which clearly showed AuraGold shoving him out of the way of laser fire. "As the Blue Ranger stood in paralyzing fear, valiantly the Gold Ranger pushed him out of the way just in the nick of time..."

Clu screamed and tossed the picture into the TV set, causing a small explosion to go off. "Dammit, man!" He yelled.

"Clu?" Letty peered into his room. He saw his luggage open on his bed. "What are you doing?"

"You guys don't need me, so I'm getting the hell outta dodge. Going back to San Diego. I figure I'll stay with my mom until I can get back on my feet again." He said as he started to zip things up.

"Clu...you can't leave." Letty said as she walked over to him and took his hand. "We do need you on this team."

"Do you really?" Clu snatched his hand away. "I mean...you've got Tommy, the greatest Ranger ever, and then, I'm willing to bet you and Coralis will get your second form transformations soon...and me, I'll be the odd man out, like always..."

"You're talking crazy." Letty said as the TV popped. "I take it you were watching the news."

"I'm tired of being the butt of jokes." Clu said as he picked up his bags. "I'm outtie. See how you guys do without me." He said as he walked out. Letty stopped him and swung him around. "What?"

"I'll never forgive you if you leave." Letty said.

"Let..." Clu started, but Letty kissed him. Clu almost dropped his bags, but he refused to cave. Letty broke away. "Let...I have to go. It's not like I want to but...you guys don't need me." He said as he turned and started to walk down the stairs. Letty sighed.

"Well, I think Satan's pretty fucking cold right now, because Elgar's plan worked!" She watched Clu pull out of the driveway and drive down the road. Maria smiled and stood from her throne. "Excellent work, Elgar."

"Huh? Really?" Elgar asked. Those were two words Elgar had never heard in the same sentence.

"You're plan to play off the fools emotions worked." Maria said. "And now it's time to have a field day with those power pukes."

The next day

Clu pulled up in front of his mother's beach front house. There were three blonds and a raven haired Asian girl sitting on the steps as he got out of the vehicle. "Hey, what are you four doing?"

"Clu?" They all said as he walked up to them. They all jumped up and hugged him. "What's up, guys?" Clu asked.

"Wait...where's Coralis?" A short haired blond that perhaps looked more like Clu than the other three could even imagine. She was wearing a purple bikini top with blue jean shorts.

"She's back in Brookstone, Candace." He said.

"You just left her?" Candace asked.

"It's a long story." Clu said.

"So, how long are you back for?" The asian girl asked. She seemed kinda over dressed-she was wearing a red, longsleeve fishnet shirt with a black tanktop underneath with camoflague pants. She had studded everything-a belt, a wrist band, watch, everything. She even had studs in her hair, which was in two tiny pontail, gel-spiked ponytails on top of her head.

"Well...it looks like for good, as far as San Diego goes. You know, until I get my feet on the ground."

"Wait...is mom letting you stay?" The tallest of the blond females asked. She was wearing pink lip gloss, a white very skimpy bikin top and a white thong, sitting on the steps doing her nails in red.

"Uh, Tina...she doesn't really know yet." Clu said.

"Oh, I get it." The last blond said as she put her arm around her brother. "Things got tough and you came running home." She said. She was wearing a green Roxy shirt with back bathing suit bottoms.

"Shut up, Liz." Clu growled. "Look, you really wouldn't understand." He said, his mind flashing back to Letty kissing him. "Look...is mom home?"

"Yeah, she's got company though." Jen said.

"Company? Male company?" He asked. Even when he was a few 100 miles away, Clu was protective of his mother.

"No, dingbat. Female company. An old friend from Angel Grove or something." Tina said. Clu raised an eyebrow. <Angel Grove? Where the Command Center...> he started to think. "Excuse me, I've got to talk to mom." He said as he hopped up the steps, knocking over Tina's bottle of nail polish in the process. "Clu!" Tina yelled.

"I'll buy you a new one!" He said as he bolted inside.

His childhood home hadn't changed in the few months he'd been away. It still smelled like gingerbread cookies-Clu's favorite-and there were broken surfboards nailed to the wall-all of which Clu broke. The living room still had the same black leather funiture his mother always bought to match the walls that had sand from the beach pasted all over it. There were various pictures everywhere. Clu picked up a picture of him and Coralis in 8th Grade-the 8th Grade Valentine's Day. He smiled, remembering what a pain in the ass it had been getting her to even go with him-she had wanted to go with this guy named Jeff. But after hearing of Jeff's plot to devirginize his best friend, Clu had begged and pleaded with Coralis to the point where she caved. It was a very cool night. He even got a rather passionate goodnight kiss.

Clu towards the kitchen. "I didn't ask for it to happen, Annie, it just did." He heard a familiar voice said.

"I know, but compared to Tommy, he'll feel completely insignificant." He heard his mother say.

"Bull, we never made you feel insignificant."

"Like, you did!"

"Ma?" Clu said as he walked into the kitchen. "Maureen?" He said, shocked at seeing the semi-mentor of the AuraRangers talking to his mother.

"Andrew!" Annie exclaimed. "What are you doing home?"

"Compared to Tommy, I feel insignificant." Clu echoed his mother's prediction. "How do you know Maureen?"

*****

"You were a Power Ranger?" The five Phillips kids said.

"Yup." Annie opened a case and showed them her old morpher. "The Yellow Lion Live Force Ranger." She said. "Of course, our monsters weren't as sophisticated, but it was the 80s, nothing was hight tech."

"Wow. Two generations of Rangers." Jen said.

"Dude...how come you didn't tell me?" Clu asked Maureen.

"What would it have done for you?" Maureen asked. "And besides, I thought you quit being a Ranger."

"I never said I quit." Clu sighed. "I'll just only show up when I'm really needed."

*******

"Where's Clu when you need him?" AuraRed's chest heaved up and down. Enviaton had been kicking their asses for the better part of the day. "We need all of us here to get to second form."

"Yeah, well, he isn't here." AuraBlack said.

"You Rangers might as well stop planning!" Enviaton stretched. "I'm tired of beating up on you punks! I'll be back tomorrow when you're nice and rested!" He laughed and teleported away.

"Ugh, I wish Clu were here." AuraPink said. "POWER DOWN!"

The entire team demorphed and slumped to the ground. "It would help if we knew where he was." Suki said, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

"I know where he is." Coralis said.

"Where?" Adam asked.

"He probably went to his mom's house." Coralis said. "It's all the way in San Diego."

"I say we go...and drag his ass back." Suki said as she started to unravel one of her cornrows.

"No." Letty said. "Only one of us should go. And I elect me."

"Why you?" Coralis asked.

"Because, I think I'm the only one of us Clu isn't pissed at." Letty said.

[Clu-less]

Next Day

"AW, DAMN!" Clu yelled as he skid across the dirt. He was in his childhood backyard-or what was left of it after he felt it with dirthills. Since he hadn't been able to go too far from his home, he wasn't able to go the long distances it toook to get to a dirt trap. So, after spending a whole summers allowance and part of his college fun for dirt and tractors, he finally set up his dirt course.

Of course, the last time he had ridden was when he was 12, and he had gained quite a bit of weight and height since then.

"You don't have enough speed." Jen said as she typed some calculations into her computer.

"What?" Clu asked as he stood up. A piece of skin hung from his knee cap. "Aw, dude, check this out, bro. Dude, I've got to land that double backflip, man."

"You sound like a pissed of Hawaiian that can't do the easiest trick in the book." Jen said as she peered over her glasses. "You simply don't have enough velocity. Given your height and weight, you've got to raise the ramp another two inches and lower the launch hill 1 inch to get appropriate height. You get through your first flip fine, it's the second flip where you bail."

"Well, it's nice to know at least one of my sister's value's education over...whatever they're into." Clu said as he sat down next to Jen. "You know, for being adopted, you didn't turn out to be a half-bad Phillips." He said with a smile.

"Thanks." Jen said with a smile. Clu remembered when his mother came home with this tiny little baby. Since that moment, Jen had been Clu's favorite sister, seeing as though Candace, Tina and Liz usually bugged him. Being the oldest, Clu had to take a lot of the brunt of being "the man of the house" since his father had bailed after he was born. That meant he had to put up with a lot more of their crap then he would normally have to.

One thing he did admire was how different they all were. Liz was a lot like himself-very into sports and her independent style. Liz was a budding amatuer surfer and her skill at Chinese Bozing riveled his own-if only a little. Candace was a somewhat prissy soriority girl that went to the University of Southern California. Candace was majoring in biology with a minor in interior design, and she most definately had no problem taking to totally different majors.

Jen was in her junior year of high school and was highly intelligent. Clu sighed and put his arm aroun dhis adopted sister. He knew she was having a hard time in school-not because she couldn't do the work, but because like most typical teenagers, she got made fun of, her entire high school experience was horrible. "Dude, don't worry about all those jocks and cheerleaders and shit." Clu said, trying to cheer her up.

"Tina called me a bratty bookworm bitch." Jen sighed. Clu rolled his eyes. The only sister that truly annoyed him was his make-up wearing, hair did up, took too damn long in the bathroom Abercrombie & Fitch wearing sister Tina. She was in here senior year of high school and she still didn't know what she was gonna do. She was one counting on her looks to get her through life. "Maybe if I dressed like her and dumbed down I'd..." Jen started.

"Nah, Jen." Clu said. "There's too many airheads like Tina floating around this planet. You are truly unique. All those dumb jocks and pothead she brings home aren't going anywhere, and at this rate, neither is Tina."

Jen smiled and showed him his computer. "I uploaded that data you sent me on Suki and Adam's powers."

"Shh!" Clu said, looking around. He only dared to tell his mother and Jen that he was a Power Rangers. His other sisters wouldn't be able to keep it quiet.

"Sorry." Jen said. "But anyways, according to the data, it seems like when all of you are together, Suki and Adam can become AuraFlame and AuraEarth. Thing is, this is an ancient technology, and there are definately glitches to using it ever battle."

"What kind of glitches?" Clu asked.

"Big glitches. Potentially fatal glitches. From what you've told me, when a Ranger morphs, his power increases, agility, strength, even intelligence heighten. But going to Aura Form 2...think of it as Jolt Cola. It may keep you nice and hyper for a few minutes, but then..." Jen let it hang.

"You crash and burn..." Clu said, suddenly remember how tired his friends were after a battle.

"Or worse." Jen said. "If you hadn't decided to be a baby and leave, I was gonna e-mail you the instructions on how to make the technology..."

"Oh no, building stuff was never my cup of tea." Clu said. "You should do it."

"If you decide to go back." Jen said.

"The girl has a point." A voice said. Clu turned around and saw Letty in black leather pants and a yellow tanktop. "Coralis told me I'd find you here."

"I knew I shoulda went somewhere else." Clu said as he stood up. Jen stood with him. "Jen, this is Letty, AuraYellow. Let, this is my little sister Jen."

"Those specs of our power?" Letty asked as she looked at the computer on the ground. Jen nodded shyly. Letty sighed. "I knew you couldn't keep it quiet."

"Hey, are you hear to get me back, because that isn't helping." Clu said.

"What else do you have?" Letty asked Jen, ignoring Clu.

"Well, let me show both of you." Jen said.

hey thats a nice fan fic. i mean i dont take time to write but im a good writer. Its nice and original. Also descriptive. You can tell whats going on It also shows the author has full control over the story. For example the author shows signs of having full control over the plot and the chracters, making people wanting to hear more of the story.

I dunno what's going on between you guys (no one just says it sucks.. cause thats just mean) but that story is definetely good. Not the best, but good...

"You mean we're down two Rangers now?" Adam asked.

"Yup, until Letty gets back." Coralis sighed. "Hopefully she'll bring Clu home."

"Yeah. Hopefully." Tommy said.

Jen's room was plastered with illustrations, blueprints and schematics. Clu and Letty watched as Jen bought up some blueprints on her comp. "Whoa!" Clu said as he looked at the blueprinted back.

"If I had the tools I'd build this for you." Jen said. "It's made especially for the Blue Aura Powers. The Blue Aquaspeed Cycle, with land and sea capabilities, hyperaccelerator engines and a pretty decent array of weapons. Yup, if you were feeling outta the loop, this baby would make them jealous of you."

"Dude, I am not jealous." Clu said. Letty rolled her eyes as another schematic came up.

"The 2003 Acura NSX." Jen said. "I was thinking this could be Letty's vehicle. Total nitrous injection, new double overhead cams, turbocharged, a complete V-TEC engine over hall so I can put in my own killer engine...I'm thinking of calling it J-Tech..."

" I can't drive it." Letty said, a fear Clu had never heard before in her voice.

"Why not?" Jen asked.

"I just can't." Letty said.

"Okay, whatever." Jen went to the next page. "This is Tommy's Dodge Challenger. I figured I could never touch it so I never bother to do any work on it." She said as she pushed her feet against the desk, causing her computer chair to glide across the room. "I've also been modifying some experimental stuff from Japan as far as wrist communicators go." She said. "Can I see yours, Clu?"

"Sure." Clu took of communicator.

Jen looked at it closely, studding the blue face and silver bands. Then she took a screw driver and carefully studied the circuits. "Whoever belt these knew his shit." Jen said as she put it on the desk. She held up her version. "Once I figure out how to tap into the teleportation system of your communicators, I'll be able to make these bad boys fully operational. Views screens, built in cell phones, these things have everything."

"All you do is stay up here and make things?" Letty asked.

"Well, yeah." Jen said.

"And let's keep it that way." Clu said with a smile. Jen was his only sister that was a virgin, and he intended to keep it that way.

"Come on, Jen, you need to have some fun." Letty said as she got dragged out of her room.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Clu asked.

Enviaton shot the Rangers (or the remaining four) sending them crashing into a building. "Anyone else wanna go get Clu back?" AuraRed asked.

"Face it, you Rangers are finished!" Eviaton started towards them.

<Enviaton, stop!> Maria's voice boomed in his head. <Leave some for later, return to the ship now!>

"Aw, just when I was starting to have fun!" Eviaton groaned. "I'll deal with you Rangers later!" He said as he disappeared.

"Dammit, why does she always back off?" AuraEarth said as he slowly started to glow. He demorphed and fell to his knees.

"Adam, be careful, man, we can't get seen." AuraGold said.

"I didn't mean to demorph." He said, clutching his side. "I just couldn't help myself. It happened on it's own."

"She's draining us." AuraPink said. She turned around to see Suki collapse. "SUKI!"

"What are they doing?" Liz asked as she sat on the porch and waxed her surfboard.

"I don't know." Clu said as he bit his nails down to nubs. "They've been locked in that bathroom for hours...I wonder what Letty is doing to her."

"Nothing." Candace looked up from her statistics homework. "From what you've told all of us about Letty, she's a smart, intelligent, level headed woman."

"That's before she put her grubby hands all over my baby sister." Clu grumbled. Letty finally came the steps and rested on the banister. "Here we go..." Clu said.

"If I can have you attention, please, I'd like to direct you attention to the hot woman coming down the stairs." Letty said.

Clu's jaw dropped as he saw a female that looked surprisingly like his baby sister. Tiny leather shorts, fishnet shirt with black bra, hope earrings, make-up.

"Whoa." Liz said, unable to believe it was Jen herself. "Just...whoa."

"Clu's about to pop a gasket." Candace said, nervous at the look of complete and utter shock on her brother's face.

"Wha..." Clu stammered. "Wha-wha...WHA....WHAT...WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER!" He yelled. "ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!"

"Bro, you don't think I look good?" Jen asked.

"No. No, I don't!" Clu growled. "I mean...you...you...you're my baby sister, and you look worse than Tina does!" Clu spat out. "Are you insane? You're not going out in that, no way, uh-uh, says me the big brother!"

"I am going to get out." Jen said defiantly. "I mean, I never go anywhere, and I never get to dress like this. And this should make Blaine pay attention to me..."

"Blaine?" Clu asked.

"This guy at school." Jen said.

"Blaine? Blaine! Dammit, Jennifer, Blaine isnt' a name it's a kitchen appliance!" Clu yelled. "And you..." He turned to Letty. "It's not enough that you guys totally hog the glory, but now you have to mess up my sister as well?"

"Clu, you're overreacting." Letty said sternly.

"You know what, Letty, why don't you just go back home, please." Clu said.

"Jen, let's get going, we'll be late for the party." Letty said, ignoring Clu's words. They both walked out. Clu watched in shock as the two sped off down the road. "Where are my keys!" He yelled.

"Whoa, slow down." Liz said. "If you go pull a big brother, Jen will definately despise you forever." Clu sucked in a deep breath and slumped back on to the couch.

"They need rest." Maureen said as she ran tests on Suki and Adam. "I'm not sure how this happened. I mean, I didn't think the Form 2 powers could be drained."

"Well Maria did." Tommy said with a heavy sigh. "Now there are only two of us."

"With no way to win." Coralis added. "Enviaton is too powerful for the both of us. We need the whole team to beat him."

"I just wonder how Letty is doing on that." Maureen sighed as she sat down. "There's not much I can do but hope their powers replenish themselves. Clu was the only one that seemed to realize how the powers worked."

"Maybe we should go try to bring him back." Coralis said. The alarms in the Space Titanus went off. "Dammit, what is it DECA?"

"Enviaton has landed in the city." DECA reported.

Tommy and Coralis grabbed their helmets. "Be careful, Rangers." Maureen said.

"Right." They said. "BACK TO ACTION!"

Clu drummed his fingers on the coffee table. Then his cell phone rang. "Yeah." He picked it up in less thn a second.

"Clu, you need to pick me up." He heard Jen's voice wimpering on the other end of the phone.

"What do you mean?" Clu asked as he gripped his chair. His sister's looked at him. "Where's Letty?"

"I lost her in the crowd...there's a lot of people here, I'm fucking freaking out." Jen said.

"Where are you?" Clu asked. No answer. For a second he thought he had gotten disconnected, but he could here loud music in the background. "Jen, tell me." He said.

"It's...it's called the 9:30 Club." She said. "Candace and Liz know where it is. Clu, please hurry."

"Don't worry...I'll be there in a few minutes." Clu said, with every intention of fulfilling that promise as he hung up. He stood up. "I need one of you to show me the 9:30 Club."

"I'll go." Liz said as she pt down her board. "You might need help cracking skulls-those jerks are hard-headed."

"Alright." Clu said as they started for the door. Candace jumped up. "Candace, stay," He said almost father-like.

"Aw hell no, I'm coming with you." She said as she grabbed her purse. Clu sighed and grabbed his keys and stuffed them in his pocket. Then he grabbed a lone key from the hook. "Clu?" Candace asked as he started towards the garage. "Clu!"


The garage door slowly rose and Clu stepped in. He looked at the covered car and sucked in a deep breath. With one pull, the cover was gone. A midnight blue gleaming 1964 Corvette Stingray almost took his breath away. "It's been a long time since I've driven you, girl." He said as he walked up to the driver side door. "Let's go for a ride."

"Clu, no." Candace said. "You can't drive this..."

"Jen's not gonna wait." He said as he got in. Liz sighed and walked to the passenger side door. "You sure about this?" She asked as she climbed in.

"Nope. But then again I never am." He said.

"Wait!" Candace pushed her way into the small backseat as Liz closed the door. "This is gonna end bad." She said.

"Whatever. Buckle up." He said as he started the car. The engine roared to life as if it had been awakened froma 100 year sleep. "Let's ride." He said as he put his foot on the clutch and shifted into first gear. The Corvette screamed out of the garage and down the street.

"Jen!" Letty yelled over the music.

"Letty...oh no!" She yelled back as she sat down. Letty rushed over to her. "We're gonna be so dead!" She said.

"Why?" Letty asked.

"When I lost you in the crowd...I panicked...I called Clu!" She yelled.

"What!" Letty yelled. "Shit...we're dead!"

"I know!"

The battle to defeat Enviaton was even harder with only two Rangers. "Man...Maria knows how to pick 'em." AuraGold said, he's body fatigued and beaten-up. "This guy doesn't have any weaknesses."

"We've got to hold him off...a little longer..." AuraPink huffed.

"I could destroy this entire town, but I like a little challenge! So give it to me!" Eviaton yelled.

"We can't beat him." AuraPink whispered to her comrade.

"We can't just leave, he could destroy the entire city." AuraGold said. "We've got to keep fighting."

"Are you always this stubborn?" Eviaton asked as he fired two powerful orbs of energy at the Rangers. They both flew backwards and skid across the pavement. "Face it, you Rangers are finished!"

"You're not gonna teleport off this time?" AuraPink asked.

"Oh no. I have full permission from my queen to kill you!" Enviaton yelled as he charged.

"Sorry I asked..." AuraPink said as she braced herself for the worse.

The 9:30 Club was a huge nightclub, it was impossible to miss. The Corvette roared up to valet parking, sending a tricked out Eclipse into a lamp post. Clu was out of the door before it stopped. He could see the valet smiling, but Clu grabbed him by the scruff of his collar. "You touch it, I kill you, got it kid?" The valet nodded like he had never heard nine words that made more sense. Clu brushed past the bouncers and stormed into the club, which was full of teenagers and college students.


"Oh no, Clu!" Jen yelled, trying to hide herself. "He's gonna embarrass of, I know he is!"

"Clu would not embarass you, he just wants to make sure you're okay." Letty reassured her.

"HEY, CAN I GET EVERYONE'S ATTENTION!" Clu yelled into the microphone. Jen hid herself as the music stopped and everyone turned to him. "Hey, I don't mean to interupt the drinking and the overdosing on ecstacy, but I got one question...where the fuck is my sister! And I'm fully ready to starting bustin' skull dudes, you ain't seen martial arts until you see Chinese Boxing!"

"Clu!" Letty yelled.

"Okay, continue!" Clu hopped off stage and ran over to his sister. "Jen, are you okay?"

"Yeah." Jen said as she hugged her older brother.

"What happened?" Clu asked.

"Me and Blaine were dancing and talking and then...and then it just started getting weird, and he was touching me...in really bad ways..." Jen's voice trailed off.

Clu was starting to turn red. "Where is he?" He asked.

"Right here." He heard a husky voice say. Clu gulped and slowly turned around. "You gotta problem?" The huge guy asked.

"Uh...yeah, yeah, I do!" Clu said, trying to keep up his tough brother image. "You've been doing some bad stuff to my little sister, and I don't appreciate it."

"And what are you gonna do about it?" He asked. Clu thought about morphing for a quick second, but erased the thought from his head. "Dude...don't you know how to treat a woman?" Clu asked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Blaine asked. Clu hit him with a mean right hook, but Blaine just growled.

"Oh shit." Clu said, then put on a scared smile. "Hey, bro, I was joking, man."

"You shouldn't be so rude." Letty said as she stepped to the much taller Blaine.

"Oh, come on babe, you know you want me." He said as he grabbed her ass.

It was all over there.

A right cross to the face sent Blaine crashing to the ground. Letty moved her fingers around. "Glass jaw." She spat.

"Dude...you gotta teach me your technique!" Clu said. "Jen, let's go."

The three started towards the door. Clu looked around for his other two sisters and found them dancing a hole into the floor with two other dumb brutes. Clu just shook his head and walked towards the door.

AuraGold and AuraPink still were having no sucess defeating Enviaton. The warrior charged again, but AuraPink and AuraGold rolled out of the way. "This is getting old!" AuraGold growled.

"You guys need some back up!" A voice called as laser fire rained from the night sky. Enviaton fell backwards as AuraBlack and AuraRed landed. "Heard you were having trouble.' AuraBlack said.

"Man, am I glad to see you guys." AuraGold and AuraPink stumbled over to their comrades. "I thought you guys weren't at full power." He said.

"We're not." AuraRed informed him. "And to make it worse, we can't go into Form 2."

"Well isn't that just peachy." AuraPink sighed.

"I'm really growing tired of you brats!" Enviaton bought his hands together and sent a powerful orb of energy cascading into the Rangers. "It's time to finish you off once and for all!"

"I've never seen you drive that car before." Letty said. Clu was in his room laying down, throwing a baseball up and the air and catching it. "It's an American classic muscle car."

"Yeah, well, that car scares the hell out of me." He said.

"How so?" Letty asked as she stepped into his room and sat down on the bed.

"It's a long story." Clu said, trying to avoid the subject.

"I've got time." Letty said.

Clu sighed and sat up. "My Dad...he's not exactly a good person, you know? He's never been. I mean...I guess I could say he was a good father to me...but not to my mom or sisters. He, uh...he used to poke holes in my mom's diaphram to make her keep getting pregant. And he did stuff like hide her birth control and stuff. He was never around much. I guess I was kinda oblivious because every guy idolizes his dad. But...one day in like middle school I came home and he had Liz pinned down...after I caught him raping her my mom told me that he had been doing that sort of thing for years. And...I just got this intense hatred for him, like nothing I've felt before."

"I guess I got sick of it one day. So one day I saw him chasing around my mother and I flipped. And he stormed out, and jumped in the 'Vette...he smashed into another car. He didn't die...he just disappeared. Checked himself out of the hospital. I bought the car back from the junkyard and fixed it up...but I don't know, I guess I feel like that car is possesed with his spirit or something...when Jen was in trouble, I guess instict just took over."

"Wow." Letty said with a smile.

"What?" Clu asked.

"It's just that's the first story you've ever told without saying 'dude' a hundred times." She said a with a chuckle. "Wanna know why I don't drive?"

"Yeah."

"Tommy's not the only Ortega that races." Letty said. "My dad was pretty good on the pro circuit. My dad got me into drag and go-cart racing when I was really young. I was racing in a race for a spot in the NIHRA circuit, where I could've joined Tommy in the ranks or whatever. This guy I turned down got me in the 10th lap, clips my bumper and send me into the wall. The car flipped five times and the NOS ignited. I barely got out. I was in a coma for two months, man. There's nothing scarier than that. Ever since then, I don't even drive to the grocery store."

"Sounds like we've both had a lot of trauma in our lives." Clu said half-jokingly.

"Yeah...see, if you talked more like this, you'd be a better guy to hang out." Letty said.

"But this whole surfer guy gimmick is funny. I'm the comic relief, remember?" He said.

"You're more than just a gimmick, Clu." Letty said. "I admit, sometimes it's funny. But your intelligent, and clever...and kinda cute, in an annoying gringo kind of way."

"I think I'll take that as a compliment." Clu said.

"You know...I meant what I said. If you decide to just leave I'll never forgive you." She said.

"And what could be done to make me wanna come back?" Clu asked. Letty turned around and planted a kiss on his lips. Jen walked into the room just as they pulled away. "Okay...that could work." He said.

"Uh, Let." Jen said. "Your communicator is going crazy."

"Well, I've got a job to do." Letty said as she stood. "You coming with me?"

"Clu had to make the single quickest decision of his life."

The Rangers all flew backwards as Enviaton hit them with another powerful blast. "Dammit, this guy's starting to get on my nerves." AuraRed growled.

"Well you don't think I'm sick of beating up on you Rangers! I'm through toying around, it's time to destroy you!" He said, starting to focus his power.

"You know, you could've just done this at the beginning." AuraYellow said. Enviaton spun around. "And now, it's about time we destroy you." She growled. "MASTER ROTOS!" The two yo-yos appeared in her hands.

"Oh brother...imagine my fear of the yo-yo!" Enviaton laughed as he charged AuraYellow.

"AURA SPARKS, PISTOL MODE!" Two large rounds shot out of nowhere crashed into Enviaton's back.

"What the..." He slowly turned around just in time to see AuraBlue land. "Oh no."

"Hey, I guess these things aren't just clubs!" He said as the other Rangers joined him.

"Nice to have you back on the team, buddy." AuraGold said.

"Come on, you guys can't survive without me." AuraBlue said. "Now let's take this guy!"

"Bring it on, Rangers!" Enviaton charged.

"Time to get TONGUE TIED AND TWISTED!" AuraYellow called. Her weapons flew and wrapped themselves around Eviaton.

"AURA ROD!"
"AURA BLADE!"

AuraRed and AuraBlack both leapt off AuraBlue and AuraPink's shoulder and slashed Enviaton.

"AURA SPARKS!"
"AURA MAGNUM!"

AuraPink and AuraBlue both fired, sending Enviaton backwards.

"GOLDEN POWER STAFF, POWER SURGE!" AuraGold leapt in the air and bought his weapon down, crashing into Enviaton. The mighty warrior fell, but was not beaten. "Aw man, this guy doesn't no when to quit." AuraGold said.

"Then let's finish this!" AuraBlue said. "AURA CANNON!"

"Oh no..." The weakened warrior said.

"AURA CANNON, AURA CYCLONE, FIRE!" The Rangers called. A powerful ball of energy erupted from the barrel of the massive weapon. Enviaton screams as he was destroyed on contact.

"See what I mean by we can't have monsters!" Maria yelled. "They never do anything right! This is all your fault!" Maria pointed at Elgar.

"Wait, we can still beat them!" Elgar said.

"This is what I mean by Elgar can never be a true general." Ecliptor said.

"Well, I don't see you stretching your brain to any limits trying to think of a plan." Maria said, growling at her head general. "At least Elgar is being productive."

"But my queen..." Ecliptor started.

"Don't but my queen me." Maria interrupted. "You find a way to destroy those Rangers...or I may have to re-evaluate your position. Or if you life is even worth the trouble." She said as she left her throne room.

"Oh, don't worry. I will." Ecliptor growled.

Next Day...

"So you're moving back to Brookstone?" Jen asked.

"Yup." Clu said as he closed the trunk to the Corvette Sting Ray. "As much as I like home, I think I gotta move outta the house. Plus, there's more than one bathroom at the house in Brookstone and you women take too much damn time.' He joked.

"You should visit more often, big brother." Liz said as she, Candace and Jen hugged him.

"Hey, I got a better idea." Letty said. "We've got an extra room or two to spare at the house. How about you guys come to Brookstone so we can keep an eye on you."

"Yeah, that's a cool idea! And you'd have your own bathroom!"

"Only if there are killer waves." Liz said, mocking her brother.

"Dude, we've got the beach in our backyard, literaly." Clu said.

"They got a campus?" Candace asked.

"Yup."

"Under one condition." Jen said.

"And what would that be?" Clu asked.

"I got to work on the ship." Jen said. " I mean, you guys need a technical advisor, right?"

"I guess we could work that out." Clu smiled. The three girls jumped up and ran to get their stuff. Clu put his arm around Letty. "It's not easy being the best big brother in the world." He said as they walked towards the car.

"Hey, what about my brother?" Letty asked.

"He's alright." Clu said with a smile. "So, are we like dating now?"

"I don't know, dude." Letty said as she kissed him on the cheek. "I guess we'll just have to wait until we get home to find out."

"Huh?" Clu asked. Letty gave him a look. "OH." He said. He quickly opened her door and shoved her into the car, then ran around to hope in.

This was one thing that Clu definately wasn't gonna ditch....
