how do you block where guest can only view the board , but they can't reply or start a thread?

what is validating , is it moderators if not i dont check it right

Validating is members that are waiting for there 'validating email' to join.

banned mask is banned members. obviously you want that set the same as guest, only able to look at the board, not do anything.

yes, if you check off 'upload' then that type of person can upload pics. I suggest you DO NOT allow guests, validating, members, anyone except admins upload. Because it uploads to your boards space. Only allow admins to upload.
