Sorry guys, it's taken me a while to write due to being gone, my job, and just plain being busy. So here's the next episode.
P.S. I love feedback!
Episode 10: Invasion Part Two
“What?!” Rapeel yelled in outrage. “Why can’t you send the other monsters?!” “Master,” Furio replied, “It takes to much energy that we can’t spare.” “Fine, just make sure those Power Rangers are dead within the day!” Rapeel leaned back into his throne and watched the monsters through the viewscreen in front of him.
“Cale, when did you plan on telling us about this?” Taylor asked sarcastically. “I didn’t think we needed them yet,” Cale answered with a shrug. “Whatever, let’s just get down there, find five people, and tell them how to morph.” “Taylor!” Alyssa cried. “We can’t just hand them out! There has to be specific people that are supposed to receive them. I mean, Princess Shayla chose us. Who are we gonna choose?” “Wait,” Cale said, “Princess Shayla didn’t choose us. The Zords did.” “How are we going to know who the Zords choose?” Taylor asked. She got her answer almost immediately. Five giant animals appeared on the horizon. The stingray, snake, frog, peacock, and penguin Zords looked at them. “I think we have to follow them,” Alyssa said. They followed the Zords into the city. The snake was illuminating a boy with a green light that only the rangers could see. The stingray’s navy light picked a girl. The frog’s orange light was above another boy. A purple light from the peacock shown upon another girl. Finally the penguin chose yet another boy with a grey light. The rangers approached the five young teens and assembled Ben, Laura, Jack, Chris, and Sara near the monument to the ancient warriors and Shayla’s grave. They told them everything. Sara reacted first. “What?! You want us to believe that you guys are the people who have been showing up in the city to fight the monsters and that you want us to help?!” “Yep,” Cale replied calmly. “Maybe we should see,” said Ben. “If you really are the rangers, show us,” Jack suggested. Cole looked at the rangers. “Let’s do it.” “Wild Access!” The rangers morphed. “Whoa,” was Laura’s response. “Do you believe us?” asked Danny. “I think we have to,” answered Chris. Cale brought out the box holding the other Growl Phones. She handed one to each new ranger. “I guess it’s time to show you the Animarium,” Alyssa suggested. The new recruits looked at each other. “Let’s go,” said Ben.
Sara could not believe it. She refused. There was no possible way that an island could float in the sky. Yet, she knew it had to be true, but only because she was standing on it. “We desperately need your help. Rapeel is assembling a huge army. We need to defeat it,” Taylor explained. “So, what do you guys think?” asked Max. “Yeah, are you in or out?” Danny asked. “I’m in,” said Ben. “Me too,” agreed Laura. “Why not?” answered Sara. I guess I’m in too,” said Chris. Cale looked at the last one. “Jack?” “Alright. I’m in,”he said. “Well, let’s go kick some monster butt,” Ben said. “You think you’re ready?” Merrick asked. “Those monsters are not easy opponents. If you’re not careful, you could be killed.” Ben looked at the other new rangers. “I think we’re ready for anything.” “Fine,” Merrick said reluctantly. “Let’s go.” All of the rangers called up their Savage Cycles and Cole called his Wild Force Rider. They rode into the city.
The monsters were wreaking havoc on the city. They were destroying everything. Rapeel laughed to himself. There was no way the Power Rangers could survive this.
The rangers stopped when they saw the first monster. “Alright guys, let’s do this.” Each ranger removed their own weapon and attacked as hard as they could. This fight was the standard procedure most of the time. It was the whole monster fires at rangers, rangers get thrown to the ground and then fire, monster fires back, rangers fire, and then rangers combine weapons and destroy monster. It was quite simple. This process was repeated with every monster they found over the next week. What was Rapeel doing? Why did he only send the easy monsters? However, all that changed when they met Furio, the general himself.
What was this guy made of? Chris thought to himself. He’s not even flinching! Furio fired another blast. “Ouch…that’s gonna leave a mark,” he said as he lay on the ground. He looked at Alyssa. The blast was aimed straight at her and hit her so hard that she demorphed. She wasn’t even moving. Ignoring Furio for one moment, Max, Danny, Taylor, and Cole ran over to her. “Alyssa? Alyssa! ALYSSA!” Taylor cried. “No… no way…this is not supposed to happen…NO!” Cale joined them. “Oh my gosh…,” she trailed off. “She’s dead.”
To be continued...
Just to inform you, I will not be writing this series much longer (you'll see why later). So, do any of you have any suggestions about what I should do next?
