PRWF: Faces From The Past

Prologue

Jen knelt in front of the four tombstones bearing the names of her friends. "Katie, Trip, Lucas, Alex, I miss you guys so much." She placed flowers on each, then stood up.

Captain Logan, who was standing a few feet away, looked at her, "They were great Time Force Officers, especially Alex." Jen faced him, "Captain, I require a Time Ship. I'm going back in time to get help." The Captain studied her for a minute, then nodded, "Permission granted." Jen saluted him, "Thank you, sir."

Inside the Time Ship, Jen buckled herself in. Captain Logan's image appeared on a nearby viewer, "Ready for launch." The Transwarp Megazord strode forward and smacked the Time Ship to get it moving. The Time Ship entered the time portal.

The Time Ship landed on the beach outside Silver Hills. Jen emerged, then stopped, remembering when she and her fellow officers came to this time period to capture Ransik.

(Flashback)

Trip shook Jen awake, "Jen, we have to get out of here." Jen came to abruptly, then quickly looked around for the case containing the Chrono Morphers. She grabbed it, then scrambled up and fled the wrecked Time Ship.

(End flashback)

(Silver Hills)

Jen shook her head, then headed up the beach to the road. A familiar vehicle drove by, then stopped and came back. The window was rolled down, "Jen?" Jen recognized the voice and immediately burst into tears. Wes hastily opened the door and pulled her close. "What's wrong?" Jen stammered out through her tears, "Katie, Lucas, Trip, Alex, they're dead."

"WHAT!?!" Wes was shocked, "How? And by whom?"

Jen raised her teary eyes to his, "Frax has been rebuilt. He attacked without warning. Katie, Lucas, Trip and Alex were ordered to stop him. I was visiting Ransik at the time. By the time I was ordered to join them, it was too late. Frax killed them. I swore then to hunt him down but to do so, I needed help."

Wes's mouth tightened, "I'm ready to help, and I know Eric would do the same." Jen looked away briefly, "That's exactly why I came back in time." Wes headed around the car, "Alright, get in. We'll get Eric first, then come back here."

Before Jen could get into the vehicle, a blast of energy was fired. Jen was sent flying. She quickly scrambled up but not in time, "Weeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssss!" The vehicle exploded with Wes caught inside.

After the explosion Jen sank down in grief. She knew then that she couldn't involve Eric for fear of having the enemy learn of his whereabouts and having him murdered too. But there were others who she could go to for help.

Chapter 1

As Alyssa bent down to tie her sneakers, Taylor walked up, "Alyssa, someone's here to see you. She says its urgent." Behind Taylor, a tall blond-haired girl waited, "Alyssa Enrile, White Wildforce Ranger?" Alyssa turned to look at the girl, "How do you know my name and who are you?" Cole who was standing nearby overheard and came over, "What is it?"

The girl responded, "Katherine Hillard, Pink Zeo Ranger. We need your help. A mutual friend asked me to come and get you." Alyssa nodded, "I'll be glad to help." Cole stopped her with a look, then faced Kat, "Her alone?"

Kat answered, "Yes, just Alyssa. We've to go now. Je…" Alyssa started, "Were you about to say Jen?" Kat replied, "A slip of the tongue."

Alyssa remembered Jen very well. She thought back to when she and the Wildforce team first learned of other Power Rangers. It was when she, Cole, Taylor, Max and Danny reached the location of a monster sighting and saw what appeared to be 2 red figures fighting three orgs. The two demorphed shortly after and Taylor recognized one of them. The Wildforce team later helped the Timeforce team defeat the Mut-Orgs.

Alyssa followed Kat out to where a car was waiting. A girl was sitting in the driver seat, "Jen's waiting, Kat." Kat introduced the girl, "This is Dana Mitchell, Pink Lightspeed Ranger." Dana nodded, "Get in."
Alyssa got in. Dana started the Hummer and drove away.

Kat glanced around, "We'll be reaching Silver Hills beach in a few minutes." Alyssa asked, "What's Jen doing back here?" Kat looked away, "I'll let Jen answer any questions." They arrived at Silver Hills. Dana got out and looked around, "That way." She pointed down at the beach where the Time Ship is. Alyssa glanced at it, noting another car and a motorcycle parked nearby. She caught sight of three people standing beside the Time Ship.

Dana started walking towards the Time Ship. "Come on." Kat and Alyssa followed. A fourth figure dressed in a Time Force uniform emerged, then called out, "Time you got here." Alyssa halted, "Jen?" Jen waved, "Glad to see you again, Alyssa." The other three figures watched as Jen embraced Alyssa. Jen stepped back, "Alyssa, these are the other Rangers whom I asked for help." The first, a young oriental, smiled, "Cassie Chan, Pink Space Ranger. She's Kimberly Hart, the original Pink Ranger. And the third is Ashley Hammond, Yellow Space Ranger."

Jen said somberly, "Kendrix and Karone are on their way from Mirinoi and Delphine from Aquitar. Kat, you may have to explain about some of the villains in the alliance." Kat was startled by that comment, "What villains? And what alliance?"

Before Jen could respond, two more cars approached. They stopped and two females exited. "Sorry we're late." Jen called, "Not at all." The two latecomers walked up, "Aisha Campbell, Yellow Zeo Ranger. And Tanya Sloan, Yellow Turbo Ranger."

Kat asked, "You were saying about an alliance, Jen." Jen slanted her a look, "You may recognize these names: Gasket, Archerina, Master Vile." Kat gasped on hearing them, "Not them…" Jen continued, "Somehow Gasket found the mangled remains of Frax and rebuilt him. Frax then returned briefly to the prison that was left here and stole a device that allowed him to travel through time. He went to the year 3000 and took out my friends and fellow officers. He returned here and did the same to We……" Jen simply broke down.

Alyssa was stunned by what Jen said, "Wes's dead??!?" Kat comforted Jen, "If they had formed an alliance, as you suggest, this is indeed bad news."

"Bad news for you, not us." came a female voice. "Cogs, Cyclobots, attack them!" Kat stiffened, "Archerina!" "I haven't forgotten." Archerina shimmered into view. Several mechanical creatures swarmed toward the girls. "Behind you, Kat." yelled Tanya as she tackled the first of the Cogs.

Kat leaped sideways, sweeping out a foot at the same time. Jen grabbed her blaster and fired at the Cyclobots. Kim winced as she landed a blow on a Cog, "Haven't done this in a very long time." Aisha's breath whooshed out, "You can say that again, Kim." as she landed on her behind.

(Prison Ship)

Master Vile glared at Gasket, "We didn't agree on her acting alone." Gasket monitored the battle. "You're right. Frax, go and help Archerina!" A golden robot acknowledged the order, "As you command, Prince Gasket."

(Silver Hills Beach)

Kat warily circled Archerina, "We defeated you once, we can do it again." Archerina laughed, "Not this time, Pink Zeo Ranger." Behind Kat, Alyssa helped Aisha up, "Doubleteam?" Aisha nodded, "You bet." Aisha jumped onto Alyssa's shoulders and struck more of the Cogs.

Archerina fired an arrow directly at Kat, who in trying to avoid it, was blasted from behind by Frax. Kimberly, fighting off the Cogs alongside Dana, saw the blast too late, "Kat!" Kat lay on the ground, temporarily stunned, "I'll be okay."

(Mirinoi - Several hours earlier)

Two young girls approached the stone mound, "Ready, Karone?" asked the shorter of the two. The second nodded, "Of course." Kendrix turned and reached for the Pink Quasar Sabre. She yanked it out and raised it overhead, "Go Galactic!" Having morphed, Kendrix walked to where two Jet Jammers were waiting. "Good thing Maya lent you hers." Karone climbed into the Yellow Jet Jammer, "Let's get moving. Delphine's waiting." Kendrix climbed into her own. "After you." Karone fired the thrusters and took off.

Kendrix smiled inside her helmet. She had chosen her replacement wisely. Karone turned out to be just as good a Pink Galaxy Ranger as she herself had been, from what Leo and the others told her.

The two Jet Jammers zoomed through space, heading for Aquitar to pick up Delphine, then proceed to Earth. Karone glanced over at her friend, "What did Cassie say?" "Just that Earth needed our help once again. She didn't mention from who. But I guess we'll find out when we get there."

A/N: Chapter 2 won't be for a while.

(Silver Hills Beach)

Kat got to her feet, surrounded by Frax and Archerina. Kat flicked her wrists and her Zeonizers appeared, "It's Morphin Time!" Before she could complete the morphing call, two Jet Jammers zoomed overhead. Delphine jumped off Kendrix's Jet Jammer and raced up. "Need some help?" Kat kept her gaze on Archerina and Frax, "Most certainly. You take Frax and I'll handle Archerina."

Having sent the Cyclobots and Cogs retreating for the moment, the others moved up beside Kat and Delphine. Jen said, "We'll handle them together." Kendrix hastily said, "Wait, Jen. Kat, Cassie, she can use the powers." Kat gave Kendrix a brief glance, "I totally agree."

Cassie brought out the Pink Turbo morpher, "Karone, since you have no powers, we have decided that you will use the Pink Turbo powers." Karone took the morpher and strapped it onto her wrist, "With pleasure."

Jen nodded, "All right. Let's morph!" Each repeated their own morphing call.

"It's Morphin Time! Pterodactyl!"

"It's Morphin Time! White Aquitar Power!"

"It's Morphin Time! Zeo Ranger I, Pink!"

"Zeo Ranger II, Yellow!"

"Shift Into Turbo! Dune Star Turbo Power!"

Karone paused, "Uh, what's the morphing call?" Kat replied, "Wind Chaser Turbo Power!" "Thanks Kat."

"Wind Chaser Turbo Power!"

"Let's Rocket!" Ashley and Cassie pressed 3-3-5 on their morphers.

"Go Galactic!"

"Lightspeed Rescue!"

"Time For Time Force!"

"Wild Access!"

After all had morphed, Jen faced Frax and Archerina, "Now let's take them down!"

Kat and Alyssa faced off against Archerina. Delphine and Jen against Frax. Tanya spotted the Cogs and Cyclobots returning. "More trouble, guys."
