Episode 10: Beginning Of The End pt 1
Atnes walked to the Phantom Ranger, he looked down at him. “So phantom ranger, you need this to live, don’t you?” Atnes held up Phantom Ranger’s power ruby, but out of nowhere, Tommy jumped up and grabbed the ruby and jumped over the Phantom ranger. Atnes leapt for Tommy, but Tommy tossed the ruby to Billy across the room, Atnes ran for Billy, but Billy threw it to Kimberly who stood by the Phantom ranger, she was about to place the ruby into Phantom rangers chest piece, but Atnes blasted it, butting a hole through the middle of the ruby. Abruptly Atnes disappeared. Kim put the ruby into Phantom’s chest piece, while the group of injured Rangers went to Alpha.
“What happened?” Zack asked.
“I teleported him away with the last energy that the command center held. Now that Light Specter is dead, we have no power. We can not teleport or communicate, and we need help.” Alpha said in a sad voice.
“I think I know where I can get help,” Jason said.
“Where?” Trini asked.
“Guys, I hafta go, if you can, hold of Atnes if he attacks again.”
“Jason, you sure?” Tommy asked.
“Yeah,”
“Good luck,” Everyone said to Jason as he ran out of the command center.
“Rangers?”
The phantom ranger was up! But he sounded weak.
“Rangers, my ruby is weakened, I know what’s going on, and the help you’ll need, but I have enough power left for one battle.”
“Guys, we all have only enough power left for one last morph. We can’t morph until Jason gets back with his help. Or else we’re done for.”
“Billy is you sure?” Kimberly asked frantically.
“There hasta be a way” Zack said.
“Ai yi yi, Billy’s right, I just checked the last of my files, and it says that your powers are connected to Light Specters life force, now that he’s gone, your powers can’t be held anymore!” Alpha yelled
“Just when things were starting to get better.” Trini said.
Suddenly the alarms sounded, but faintly, Goldar was attacking Angel Grove, along with a new monster who looked like a giant man like Lion.
“Guys, we might not stand much of a chance, but we hafta go, no Morphing though.” Tommy said.
They all left the command center and headed on foot to Angel Grove city. The phantom ranger had to stay.

They finally arrived and saw nothing but destruction. Fires raged, and buildings lay waste. Cars were piled up on each other, and street post were strewn everywhere. Behind them, the rangers heard laughing.
“So power punks, like our handy work?” Goldar said laughing.
“Wanna see some more damage, we could hurt you now.” Said the lion monster.
The rangers got into fighting stances when they heard sirens; a jeep was speeding towards them. On the truck the words Lightspeed rescue was written. The truck swerved past the monsters and stopped in front of the rangers.
It was the Lightspeed rescue rangers! Carter jumped out of the car, “We’ll take it from here,” he said
“Don’t worry we know what happened, Alpha teleported to us, using the last bit of energy the command center could assemble, he and the Phantom ranger are fine.” Dana said.
Kelsey, Dana, Ryan, Joel, and Chad all got out of the jeep and faced the monster. They all put out their morphers, the 5 main rangers yelled, “Lightspeed rescue!” as Ryan yelled “Titanium Power!”
The 6 lightspeed rescue rangers stood there as Goldar and the lion monster laughed.
“Look Goldy more power pukes to waste!”
“I know, this will be fun, at least these 6 will morph”
The lightspeed Rangers attacked, while the mighty morphin rangers watched in amazement. The rangers seemed to be winning, but soon the tides turned as Goldar drew his sword and attacked. He cut down Red, Blue, and Pink. While the lion monster used his claws the slash down Titanium, Green, and Yellow. Goldar was about to destroy Carter by stabbing him through the heart, but someone kicked him away. It was the Red time force Ranger. Suddenly the lion monster went flying too! Quantum Ranger! The two rangers then attacked together, sending Goldar into the lion monster.
“Guys, into our truck, we got to get out of here, we’ll distract them!” Wes said to the other 11 rangers.
Lightspeed Rangers powered down and hopped into the truck as Wes and Eric attacked Goldar, trying to keep him off his feet, not stopping their assault. They then throw the two monsters into a wall, which crumbles on top of them, pinning them down, and make a break for their truck. They get in and speed off. Leaving the carnage behind.
“Thanks guys, we owe you all big time,” Tommy said.
“Yeah, if it weren’t for you, we’d be toast.” Kim added.
“Don’t worry about it, we rangers hafta stick together.” Eric said as the rangers passed a sign saying “Turtle Cove, 25 miles”
Goldar and the Lion monster finally got free. They looked to see none of the Rangers and grunted. But behind them, Atnes stood.
“YOU TWO FAILED ME!!!!!!! YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS NOW!”
Before they could say anything Atnes absorbed them into his body, and his body mutated to take on a bigger form. He stood there laughing as he began to blow up more buildings. In front of him, he saw 6 figures, he was sure they were Rangers, but he couldn’t tell who. They attacked, It was the……
