Luna FlankerZord is the Zord of Ace Ranger, originally designed with Acelerator as a full package. When Mark raids the control of the device, Dr Sun changed its plan from a single person-controlled plane to a five-seated fighter bomber. However, a mysterious man hacks the ECO computer system to steal the previous software, and re-installs it to allow Mark gains full control of the Zord.
Instead a plane, it also has submarine function when the wings sway inside, as well as managed to transform into a robot warrior. This blue-silver plane shaped like an F-14 Tomcat together with swinging wings, and has dual rocket thrusters mounted at the top side in addition to the double primary units. For submarine purpose, each thruster has its propeller to boost the Zord in the water. This combination makes it bloody fast with maximum flight speed at 25 Mach (compare this with Observer Jet 3, the Blue Ranger’s Neutron Zord which maximum speed at 7 Mach, or Neutron Flyer at 19 Mach when making Sonic Barrier assault), and also very quick in the water with aquatic speed at 1.6 Mach.
Transformation into warrior mode initiates with both wings swing inside and together with secondary thrusters, it slides from top to the bottom part. The rocket part of the main boosters slides to the rear to form the legs while its gun part forms the hands. The cockpit part folds to the back and attached between the thrusters, and when the head part appears from it the transformation has finished.
In the warrior mode, Luna FlankerZord is not as strong as Neutron Megazord, but its superb agility and speed has masked such a setback. Added with its ability to fly even at outer space, makes it very versatile in any battle.
Its weapon system assembles dual laser gun at the front of each main thruster, with multiple missile artillery system (can used as torpedo inside the water) which also included into the secondary boosters. It also has an array of bombs but this bombing ability only applies in Flyer mode. Laser guns and missile artillery weapons are used in Nova Assault, the finisher of Luna FlankerZord. Dual missile launchers slide over both shoulders, and the laser guns on both hands are also being pointed to the target. When the target has been locked, missiles and laser shoots is launched simultaneously to destroy the monster.
