Do you have a site for your customs?
TrippEisen620
05-15-2003, 01:11 PM
to answer the new questions...All the morphers I have, are already stripped and currently in the process of being redone so, sorry I don't have any regular ones left right now. The coin will hopefully be just like a standard coin, it will be removable from the morpher and will be molded in resin plastic painted with a metallic gold similar to the ones used on the other coins. I don't have a site for my customs as I really usually only do them for fun. Its more a labor of love, not really for much profit. The only reason I've decided to make some extra of this particular item, is because I wanted to fulfil the wants of many mmpr fans such as myself. School ends next week and then hopefully I will be able to make some good progress on this morpher/coin job. Including some pictures...more updates to come.
By the way I thought I'd throw this question out to you guys, Do you prefer the morpher and coin to look "weathered" sort of like the real one on the show would have. Or with more of the shiny perfect bandai look? let me know, thanks for all the interest/responses

Both. U should make one of each. Are the morphers gonna say "Power Rangers" like in the show or "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" like the toys? Are u gonna make the japanese one where it says "Zyuranger" on the top and "Kyoryusentai" on the bottom?
TrippEisen620
05-15-2003, 03:17 PM
I'm probably only going to make the zyuranger one unless, somebody that wants to buy it needs a power rangers one. Because what prompted me making this in the first place is to go with my one day in the distant future to be completed full Green ranger costume.

Hey just wanted to give you guys a heads up that, the prototype for the coin is very close to being completed, and should probably be done tommorow. I should then be heading off to get some casting materials and I should have a few ready to go within like 2 weeks or so...also (since I don't own a digital camera) I will try and get my friend to take some pictures of the unpainted pieces so I can give everyone an idea of what the finished product will look like. Could someone please explain in detail how I post pictures directly onto the board?...more to come.
TrippEisen620
05-16-2003, 08:44 PM
Oh I forgot to add that, I don't believe it would be a problem at all to make the varying stickers for those interested in either the zyuranger or the mmpr one. Just specify if you choose to make a purchase and I would be more than happy to do that, as it is the only piece that is a sticker it should be easily interchangable. thanks again

Are they stickers or do you hand paint them on? If their stickers how much for a sheet of them?
TrippEisen620
05-19-2003, 07:36 AM
The entire morpher is handpainted the only thing that are stickers, (although not really) is the letters I cut them out and deco them on to the red circle, if you can show me how to post pictures on the board I will try and send you a pic from my scanner.

I am interested in making a purchase from you, with a MMPR sticker on it instead of a ZYU sticker on it. I would also like the dragon coin...please email me with the price, etc.

vB code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing. The ability to use vB Code is set on a forum-by-forum basis by the administrator, so you should check the forum rules when you post a new message.
URL Hyperlinking
If vB Code is enabled in a forum, you can simply type in the full address of the page you are linking to, and the hyperlink will be created automatically. Here are some example links:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/
www.vbulletin.com
Notice that if the address begins with www. you do not need to add the http:// part of the address. If the address does not begin with www. you will need to add the http:// section. You may also use https:// and ftp:// links, and these will be converted into links.
If you want to include the vB Code, you may simply surround the address with tags as shown below. (The vB Code tags are shown in red).
www.vbulletin.com/forum/
You can also include true hyperlinks using the [url] tag. Just use the following format:
Click here to visit the vBulletin forums (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/)
This will produce a hyperlink like this: Click here to visit the vBulletin forums.
Note that once again, you need not include the http:// if the address begins www.
Email Links
To add a link to an email address, you can simply include the email address in your message like this:
myname@domain.com
Note that there must be a blank space, such as a space or a carriage return before the beginning of the address.
You can also use vB Code tags to specify an email address, like this:
myname@domain.com
You can also add a true email hyperlink using the following format:
Click here to email me (myname@domain.com)
This will produce a hyperlink like this: Click here to email me.
Bold, Underlined and Italic Text
You can make text bold, underlined or italicized by simply surrounding your text with tags as shown below:
some text produces some text
some text produces some text
some text produces some text
Using Different Colors, Sizes and Fonts
You can alter the size, color and font of text using the following tags:
some text produces some text (colored blue)
some text produces some text (size 4 text)
some text produces some text (using courier font)
You can also combine all the various text formatting tags. This example uses bold, underlined, purple text:
[u]Wow there's lots of formatting here!
This example produces this:
Wow there's lots of formatting here!
Bullets and Lists
You can create bulleted or ordered lists in the following way:
Unordered, bulleted list:
first bulleted item
second bulleted item
This produces:
first bulleted item
second bulleted item
Note that you must remember to close the list with the [/list] tag.
If you would like to create a list ordered numerically or alphabetically, this is just as easy. You simply need to add a little extra code to your and tags. The extra code looks like =1 (for a numbered list) or =A (for a list from A to Z). Here are some examples:
[list=1]
this is the first numbered item
this is the second numbered item
[/list=1]
This produces:
this is the first numbered item
this is the second numbered item
[list=A]
this is the first alphabetically ordered item
this is the second alphabetically ordered item
[/list=A]
This produces:
this is the first alphabetically ordered item
this is the second alphabetically ordered item
Adding Images
To include a picture or graphic within the body of your message, you can simply surround the address of the image as shown here:
http://www.rangerboard.com/images/banner.gif
Note that the http:// part of the image URL is required for the code.
You can even create a thumbnail-type hyperlink by surrounding your [img] code with a [url] code like this:
[img]http://www.rangerboard.com/images/vb_bullet.gif (http://www.rangerboard.com/images/banner.gif)
you have to upload it to a site first then right click it then select properties and copy the url then follow the instructions above

Hey guys, I know this is going to sound like a load of crap but I have just been in New Zealand for close to a month on vacation, and have been very busy lately which has really prohibited a lot of work being done on this, I have to go out of town again today for one week (This time to Miami). The first one is really close to completion though and I can absoluetly promise pics by no later then 7/24...maybe a few days earlier. I am really sorry this is taking so long but hopefully I can fulfil a few peoples wants when they see the finished product. Also just so everyone knows I won't be back/albe to respond till the 22, so if you post during that time and I dont respond its because I'm not here. Thanks for everyone being so patient.
