Hey guys, I just put the final touches on my MMPR Green suit. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Basically I made it to wear and get looks and stuff as I wear it campus and things of the sort but I put alot of work into it so I wanna show it off.
My helmet started out as pepakura and I only wanted to do that, then as halloween was approaching, I figured I could finish it before my party. So I got to work and made the rest of the suit. Also, in the process of doing it, I made the red, blue, yellow, pink and I'm working on black helmets in pepakura and I'll post those pics when I'm all done with them.
So basically I made it for under $175 in the spirit of Richard Strahl. He motivated me to do it and brought pepakura to my eyes. Before that, I was completely not for paying 300-400 bucks for something I'm going to wear maybe 3 times a year. (My brother and I have ghosbusters suits and a car so I think we've spent our stupid money for this lifetime already.) Richard worked with me and told me how he did his stuff and where to get things and I made some adjustments as I saw fit so it turned out being a little cheaper.
Regardless, I'm proud and if you guys want to know how I did anything or stuff, just ask. I'll be glad to help.
Special thanks goes to Richard Strahl for his help, DungBeetle for letting me have his pep file, and random noob threads. Without those, this would've looked like shit. (maybe it does anyway?)
