Villains and # of lives

Hmmm, I was thinking...

You have enemies like Goldar that constantly flee from battle right before a zord's finishing move, and then you have enemies that just take the beating (Darkonda) and come back a few eps later. I'm assuming thag Goldar runs away because he only has one life, while Darkonda has mentioned numerous times that he has multiple lives.

My theory on this is that some species of aliens have only one life, while others have multiple. Other theories could be rank (perhaps Dark Spector have Darkonda multiple lives). What are your thoughts?

I always thought Darkonda was given multiple lives in a deal with the Devil with Dark Specter due to his rank. This led him to being arrogant and treacherous.

Don't forget how despite being from different races, every monster seems to share the same weaknesses of "slash across the body" or "drilled through the torso".

Most of the monsters are created through black magic, alchemy or some kind of spell though
