Chapter 1: Rita's Escape Part 1

“Shit, shit, shit, shit!” Jason Lee Scott yelled as he ran around his bedroom trying to get his backpack and books ready along with getting dressed.

After getting dressed in a red hoody and blue jeans Jason grabbed his backpack and ran for his bedroom door.

Downstairs in the kitchen Mrs. Scott was working on a new recipe when the doorbell rang. Walking over to the door she opened it to reveal Kimberly Ann Hart standing on the front porch. “Hi Kim.” Mrs. Scott smiled. “Come in.” She offered as she opened the door wider for the pretty teen.

Kimberly smiled. “Thank you Mrs. Scott.” She walked farther into the kitchen and walked over to the table. “It smells really good in here.” She smiled as she sat down at one of the chairs at the table.

Mrs. Scott smiled. “Thank you Kim.” She walked back to the stove as she says. “Jason should be down.”- She was interrupted when they heard a thunder of footsteps on the stairs.

Jason jumped down the last step of the stairs landing on the feet, he then saw Kimberly seating at the table. “Kim?”

Kimberly looked up at him. “Hey Jase.” She smiled, then it faded. “Am I early?”

Jason shook his head. “No.” He walked over to her. “I’m late.”

Kimberly looked at her watch. “We better get going then.” She stood up, pushed in her chair and grabbed his backpack off the back of the chair.

Jason nodded. “Lets go.” The two made their way to the door. “Bye mom.” He said as he opened the door.

“Bye Mrs. Scott.” Kimberly smiled over her shoulder.

“Bye kids!” Mrs. Scott called.

Jason, and Kimberly walked up to Jason’s red Toyota Tundra. “Thanks for driving me to school Jase.” Kimberly smiled as they climbed into the truck.

“Like I told ya Kim.” Jason put both their backpacks into the back before grabbing his seatbelt. “Just ask and I shall be your driver.” He turned to her with a smile.

Kimberly smiled. “You’re my hero Jase.” She adjusted her pink shirt after putting on her seatbelt.

“I thought I was your Teddy bear too.” Jason said as he backed his truck out of his driveway.

Kimberly reached over and kissed him gently on the cheek. “Your both.” She then turned on the radio and started to switch through the stations.

In the Angel Grove high school’s parking lot Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan, and Billy Cranston climbed out of Zack’s black Honda Civic. “Hey look at that.” Zack grinned as he pointed to Jason’s truck pulling up into an empty parking space. “Jason, and Kim are here.”

Trini lifted her backpack higher on her shoulder as the three friends made their over to Jason’s truck as she asks. “Do you think Kim finally told him?”

A big grin plastered Zack’s face. “I bet. That’s why there a little late cause they stopped for a heavy make out section.”

Kimberly smiled as she climbed out of Jason’s truck. “Hey guys!” She greeted her three friends.

“Hey Kimmie.” Zack greeted with the same big smile plastered on his face.

“What are you smiling about?” Jason asked as he came around his truck with his backpack on his shoulder and gave Kimberly hers.

“We were just wondering if you had a little pit stop a, mmff.” Zack was silenced by Trini’s hand clamping over his mouth.

“Zack is just being Zack.” Billy quickly said. Before his friends could say anything the school’s warning bell rang.

“Come on guys!” Kimberly exclaimed and the five friends started to head to the building.

Up on the moon two Astronauts made their way over to a dumpster. “What’s this thing doing here?” The one of the right asked as he ran his hands along the carves of the lid.

“How should I know?” The other asked. “Lets open it.”

“Are you nuts? We don’t know what in there. Besides.” The first Astronaut who had spoke first, looked at the dumpster. “I’m getting a bad vibe from this thing.”

“Oh come on.” The other Astronaut grabbed the lid. “What harm is it going to cause if we open the thing? Besides all we know it could be empty.”

The two Astronauts started to open the lid.

“Ahh!” Rita Repulsa came out of dumpster. “I’m free!”

Goldar came out next. “Finally!” He began to stretch his arms. “I thought we’d never escape.”

“What shall we do know Empress?” Finster asked as he, Baboo, and Squat came out last.

Rita turned to the four. “It’s time to set up the palace.” She then turned to look at Planet Earth as she finished her sentence. “And then conquering Earth!”

At the Youth Center, the five teenagers were seating at a table when Ernie walked up to them with a trey of drinks. “Hey guys.” He greeted.
“Hey Ernie.” Billy greeted.

“Witch one of you five ordered the Banana Mango?” Ernie asked.

Just as Zack raised his hand an Earthquake began.

“Earthquake!” Kimberly screamed as the five fell to the floor.

Inside the Command Center Alpha 5 came running in. “Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay!” He cried. “It’s the big one! We’re done for, this is it!”

Zordon of Eltar appeared inside his tube. “Alpha calm down.” He calmly told the robot. “It’s Rita. She’s escaped.”

“What are we going to do!?” Alpha cried.

“We must recruit five humans with attitude.”

“No not that!” Alpha exclaimed. “Not teenagers!”

“We have now choice Alpha.” Zordon told him.

“Oh, very well.” Alpha walked over to the counsels and started pressing some buttons.

The five teenagers were now in the middle of the Youth Center. “What’s happening?” Kimberly asked.

“This is weird.” Trini said.

“Hang on!” Jason called.

Just then the five teleported in red, yellow, blue, pink, and black colors.

The five teens teleported inside the Command Center in heap on the floor. “Guys get off me.” Kimberly called from underneath her friends, the five got to their feet.

“What is this place?” Trini scanned the room.

“What happened to the Youth Center?” Kimberly asked as she linked her arms through Jason’s, and Zack’s arms.

“Greetings Earthlings.” Alpha greeted as he walked into the room.

The five teens turned to the robot.

“Welcome friends.” A voice from behind them greeted causing the teens to spin around.

“Uh oh.” Trini said.

“Rita’s book of evil magic spells is hidden somewhere in the mountains.” Alpha told the teens. “Now that she’s escaped she’ll send down Goldar and a group of Putties to find the book.”

Rita’s Escape Part 2

Inside the Command Center Zordon had introduced himself, and Alpha and now was telling the story about his history with Rita. “Now the time has come for you five to become Earth’s first superhero’s called Power Rangers.”

Alpha opened up a case and turned to the humans. “Jason you are the Red Ranger and leader of the team.” He handed Jason a morpher as the robot said. “The dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex is your power source.” Alpha walked up to Trini. “Trini you’re the Yellow Ranger and the dinosaur Saber Tooth-Tiger is your power source.” He handed Trini her morpher before walking up to Billy. “Billy you’re the Blue Ranger and now the keeper of the dinosaur of the Triceratops.” The robot handed Billy his morpher before moving to in front of Kimberly. “Kimberly you are the Pink Ranger and keeper of the dinosaur Pterodactyl.” Alpha handed her her morpher before walking up to Zack. “And Zack you’re the Black Ranger and keeper of the dinosaur Mastodon.” He handed Zack his morpher.

“Each of you pilots your own Zord.” Zordon continued his speech. “And when put together you’ll have created the Megazord.”

“And Rita’s book of evil magic spells is hidden somewhere in the mountains.” Alpha told the teens. “Now that she’s escaped she’ll send down Goldar and a group of Putties to find the book.”

“Whoa, hold on.” Kimberly handed her morpher to Jason as she stepped forward. “You want us to become Power Rangers just so we can finish a battle that’s happened over hundreds or thousands years ago? Along with Dinosaurs and these things called morphers?”

“I’m going have to go with Kim on this.” Zack draped his arm over her shoulders. “I’m sorry big Z. But I’m out.” He backed away, turned and started to leave.

Jason was hesitant as he watched his friends leave.

Kimberly walked back. “Come on Jase. You promised me you’ll be my bag carrier at the mall with no arguments.” She said as she pulled him out of building.

“Hey guys maybe we should accept his offer.” Jason told his friends.

“Accept?” Kimberly stopped in her tracks and turned to Jason. “He just assumed that we’d take his offer. No way. Not going to happen.” She turned and started to walk again.

“We were talking to a giant floating head!” Zack exclaimed, he then stopped and turned around to Jason. “Look bro if you want you go back there and accept that power. But you’ll have to do it without me.” He turned and started to walk off.

Up on the moon inside the Luner Palace, Rita was standing on the balcony and looking through her telescope “What’s this?” She zoomed in on the five teens who looked lost while they roamed the dessert surrounding the Command Center.

“What do you see Rita?” Baboo asked.

“So Zordon thinks he can save Earth by giving humans the Power Coins huh?” Rita turned to look at Goldar. “Goldar take some Putties with you and go down there to take care of those teenagers.”

Goldar nodded. “Yes my queen.” He teleported off.

The teens walked around lost in the desert. “We are so lost!” Zack exclaimed after they stopped to rest.

Suddenly Goldar, and a group of Putties teleported down. “Hello Rangers!”

The teens quickly jumped into defensive stances. “Who or what are you?” Kimberly asked as she made a face.

“I am Goldar.” Goldar introduced himself. “Putties attack!”

“Go guys!” Jason called to his friends.

Back in the Command Center the alarm was going off. “Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay!” Alpha cried as he watched the battle in the Viewing Globe. “Zordon their in trouble!”

“Jason look out!” Kimberly cried in warning.

Jason turned and roundhouse kicked a Putty in the chest, sending it falling to the ground.

Soon enough though, the teens got overwhelmed and they stumbled to the sandy ground.

“What’d we do now?” Kimberly asked.

Jason looked at his belt and saw his morpher. “I know.” He reached for his morpher and stood up. “We can do this guys.” He said as he turned to his friends.

“I’m with ya bro.” Zack quickly stood up and pulled out his own morpher. The others followed suit.

Jason stepped forward. “Be careful Goldar.” He narrowed his eyes. “Your about to get your tailed whipped by a bunch of kids.”

“It’s time to morph!” Jason called and felt he knew what to call out. “It’s morphin time!”

“Mastodon!”

“Pterodactyl!”

“Triceratops!”

“Saber-Tooth Tiger!”

“Tyrannosaurus!”

The five quickly morphed.

“So I’m suppose to be scared of you know?” Goldar growled. “Putties attack!”

The five quickly found themselves getting attacked by the Putties.

Soon the new Rangers made quick work with the Putties and regrouped.

“You want us Monkey breath?” Zack taunted. “Come and get us!”

Goldar growled. “This is not the end Power brats!” He teleported off.

“Finster!” Rita shrieked as she walked into the palace from the balcony. “Where’s my aspirin bottle!?”

“Congratulations Rangers.” Zordon told the new defenders of Earth.

“Yes.” Alpha nodded. “Well done.”

“Looks like our lives just got interesting.” Trini smiled at her friends.

“Before you accept the power.” Zordon began. “There are three rules you must follow.”

“What rules are we talking about here?” Jason asked.

“Rule number one: Never use your power for personal gain.” Zordon began. “Rule number two: Never escalate a battle unless Rita forces you. And rule number three: Keep your identity secret. No one may know you are a Power Ranger.”

The new defenders looked at each other. “I can go by those.” Zack agreed.

Jason nodded. “Yeah.” He put his hand out. “Power Ranger.”

Kimberly followed his moved by placing her hand on top his. “Power Ranger.”

Zack followed. “Power Ranger.”

Trini added her hand. “Power Ranger.”

Billy put his hand on top the hand pile. “Power Ranger.”

The five then jumped up calling out. “Power Rangers!!!!!”

“I’ll take my book now Power brats.” Rita demanded at the five teens.

“Billy get down from there! Your too high up!” Trini cried.

“So now that Rita has her spell book.” Kimberly wrapped her arms around herself. “What are we going to do?”

“You guys seem really cheery today.” Ernie smiled at the Ranger teens after walking up to their table.

Inside the Youth Center Jason was climbing up a rope that dangled from the ceiling while Kimberly, and Zack watched.

“That’s it Jase!” Kimberly called. “All the way to the top.”

“You can do it bro.” Zack added just as Trini walked up.

“Be careful Jason.” The Asian teen warned.

“Hey your gonna make him lose his concentration.” Zack told her.

“No worries Zack.” Jason called down to his best friend. “I have full focus.”

“Why don’t you give the rope a try Trini?” Kimberly asked.

“Me?” Trini asked. “No thanks.”

“Still have that fear of heights huh?” Jason asked as he climbed down the rope.

“So what if I do?” Trini asked just as Billy walked over to them.

“Hey guys.”

“Billy my main brain.” Zack greeted with a smile. “What’s up?”

“I had some time last night and I was able to create five devices that will allow us to establish contact with Zordon and vise versa.” Billy answered.

“English please?” Kimberly asked.

“He said he created some communication devises for us so we can keep in contact with Zordon.” Trini translated.

“Oh.” Zack nodded. “Cool.”

“They’re in my locker.” Billy replied.

The five then headed for the hallway.

“How are we going to get rid of these teenagers?” Goldar asked.

“I’M WORKING ON IT?!” Rita screamed at him. She turned back to her telescope in deep thoughts.

Billy was explaining how he created the devises. “And not only can we contact Zordon and him us. We also can communicate with each other.” He was saying as he opened his locker and reached in.

“Double cool.” Kimberly nodded.

Billy reached into his locker and pulled out five devises that look like watches that were red, pink, blue, yellow and black. “There called Communicators.” His friends took the Communicator that had their color.

“So how do they work?” Zack asked as he strapped on his communicator.

“Its simple just press the top button and you’ll be able to talk with Zordon.” Billy explained.

“Like this?” Trini asked as she, Kimberly, Jason, and Zack pressed the button causing the four to teleport away in yellow, pink, red, and black.

“Huh.” Billy closed his locker. “I guess I maculated the devises.” He put on his morpher and teleported away in a blue streak.

In the Command Center Alpha who was walking around looked up. “Huh oh. In coming!”

The five Rangers landed on top of Alpha.

“Hmm, it appears that Billy has tapped into the Command Center’s teleportation system.” Zordon observed. “Until Alpha can fix it, Billy’s device will act as a two way communicator.”

Billy took off his communicator and handed it to Alpha.

“This will be easy.” Alpha said as he took the watch like device. “All I’ll have to do is.” He paused as he looked up. “Uh oh.” He then started bouncing around causing the Rangers to lean back on the consoles.

Back in Rita’s Palace, Rita walked up to the middle of the main room. “Baboo is the device ready?”

“Yes my queen.” Baboo nodded.

“Do you really think the book is on Earth Rita?” Squatt asked.

“I’ve already checked other galaxies, planets and the moon.” Rita hissed. “Earth

In the Command Center the alarm rang off causing the Rangers to quickly put their hands over their ears.

“What is that?” Trini asked.

“It’s the alarm.” Alpha answered.

“Rangers Rita has sent Putties to the mountains.” Zordon informed him.

“Rita must be after her magic book!” Alpha cried in panic.

“Rangers go to the mountains while Alpha, and I will check out this strange signal.” Zordon instructed.

“Good luck friends.” Alpha wished as he teleported the teens to the mountains.

Five colored lights teleported down inside the mountains. “Alright guys.” Jason walked to a big sandy mountain. “Stay low.”

“You got it.” Zack nodded as he, and the others followed suit.

Jason, Kimberly, and Zack peered around the sandy mountain to see some Putties digging.

“What are those clay brains up to?” Kimberly asked.

“Digging a grave?” Zack answered with a question and a shrug.

“Hey what’s that?” Kimberly reached over Jason’s left shoulder and pointed at a chest that four Putties pulled out of the hole.

“That must have Rita’s magic book in it.” Jason replied.

“Um guys we better move.” Billy said as he looked behind them.

“This is perfect cover.” Zack said as he, Kim, and Jason never turned around.

“It was about five seconds ago.” Trini grabbed the back of Zack’s shirt and pulled.

The others turned around. “We better morph.” Kim suggested.

Jason shook his head. “No.” He eyed all the Putties that started to surround the teens. “We can take care of these clay creatures.”

“Good idea.” Zack agreed.

“Split up guys” Jason called when the Putties ran at them.

Billy, and Trini found themselves away from the others. “Any ideas Tri?” Billy asked.

“Just to keep these clay heads destructed.” Trini answered as she kicked one of the Putties to the ground.

Billy turned around and headed for one of the mountains and started to climb with a Putty following him.

Back with the others Kim, and Zack kicked the chest away from the four Putties causing the chest to fall to the ground and opened.

Jason thunder kicked a Putty and ran for the chest, kneeling down he grabbed the book from inside. “Got it.”

“Billy get down from there! Your too high up!” Trini cried as she started for the same mountain. “Billy!”

But Billy was too high up to even hear her.

Trini quickly started to climb the mountain. “Whoa.” She suddenly started to see double as she made her way higher up the mountain. “Oh.” She quickly went down on all fours. “Bad idea.” She closed her eyes and took some deep breaths. “But I have to help Billy.” She got up and started to move farther up the mountain.

Jason, Kim, and Zack regrouped. “Yeah we got it.” Zack grinned as he looked at the book in Jason’s arms.

Suddenly Rita appeared. “Why thank you for returning my book.” She cackled.

“You must be Rita Replusa.” Kim eyed the witch. “What grave did you dig up that outfit from?”

“Why you brat!” Rita swiftly moved her staff to point at the Pink Ranger causing Kim to quickly some steps backwards and for Jason, and Zack to step in front of her.

“My book.” Rita held out a hand for the object. “I’ll take my book now Power brats.” Rita demanded at the three teens.

Billy ran to the edge of the mountain. “Whoa!” He flared out his arms to keep his balance, when he got it he saw Trini climbing up. “Trini what are you doing?!” He called down to her.

Trini made it and held out a hand to Billy who quickly pulled her up. “I’m helping you.”

The Putty that had been following Billy started to run at the two.

“Look out!” Trini grabbed Billy’s arm and pulled him away from the edge and the Putty fell off the mountain.

“Trini.” Billy turned to look at her. “You conqured your fear of heights to help me.” He smiled.

“I did didn’t I?” Trini returned the smile.

“Come on.” Billy started to head down the mountain. “The others need us.”

Trini quickly followed her friend.

Kim, Jason, and Zack were cornered as there was a big mountain behind them and Rita along with more Putties stood in front of them.

“Give me my book now!” Rita screeched.

Jason held the book tighter to his chest. “Never.”

“It’s coming with us.” Zack added.

Suddenly Billy, and Trini ran up to their friends from around a big bush.

Rita took the teens’s distraction to her advantage and shot out electricity from her want at the Rangers who went flying backwards into the mountain and Rita’s book to fall to the ground.

“The book!” Kim exclaimed as she reached out her hand for the book.

Rita calmly walked over to her book, kneeled down and picked it up. “Finally, my book has returned.” She looked at the Rangers who were just getting to their feet. “Ta-ta kids!” With that she teleported out along with the Putties.

Back in the Command Center the Rangers were demorphed. “So now that Rita has her spell book.” Kimberly wrapped her arms around herself. “What are we going to do?”

“Keep your guard up.” Zordon answered. “Your journey as Power Rangers has just begun.”

“You guys seem really cheery today.” Ernie smiled at the Ranger teens after walking up to their table.

“That’s cause I finally conquered my fear of heights.” Trini smiled.

“You climbed the rope?” Ernie asked surprised.

Trini nodded. “Yep. I show up Bulk, and Skull.” She pointed to the two bullies.

Bulk tried to climb the rope and when he did the rope broke causing him to fall on his butt and some of the ceiling to come down on him.

Ernie stood on the sidelines as he watched a basketball game he was coaching. On the court the Jason was hogging the basketball.

“Yo Jason I’m open!” Zack called as he waved his arms.

But Jason who had two Stone Canyon teens blocking him, took the shot causing another Stone Canyon teen to jump for the ball and make his way down the other side of the court.

From the stands Bulk, and Skull were watching. “Hey Bulky isn’t basketball suppose to be a team sport?” Skull asked.

“Yeah it is.” Bulk answered.

“Well Jason’s sure not doing that.” Skull replied.

“Muscle head sure is hogging ball.” Bulk huffed.

Skull scratched his head. “Jason’s a hog?”

Bulk turned to glare at his best friend. “No you nitwit.”

“Jason there’s no I in team.” Ernie told him.

“Ernie I can win this.” Jason defended himself.

Ernie shook his head. “I’m sorry Jase but I’m going to have to bench you for the next half of the game.”

“So Jason thinks he can be a one man army huh?” Rita turned from her telescope. “Lets make things interesting.” She said as she walked back into her palace. “Finster!” She called as she headed for his lab.

“Yes my queen?” Finster asked as he walked into view.

“Today I want the Mighty Montour monster.” Rita walked over to the monster shelf where there were clay monsters seating on the shelf.

The following day Jason was in the school hall, he saw Zack and made his way over to him. “Hey Zackman about yesterday.” His voice trailed off.

“Look Jase I think your head right now is a little too big for your helmet.” Zack closed his locker and walked off.

Jason stood there until the bell rang.

In the Command Center the alarm started going off.

“Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay!” Alpha cried. “Zordon! Rita’s sent down the Mighty Montour!”

“Contact the Rangers immidently. Zordon instructed.

Jason, and his father were in the kitchen. “Jason you are not a one man army.” Mr. Scott told his son.

“I’m not!” Jason felt like he was defending himself twice in the same day.

“Call me crazy but I think you are.” Mr. Scott replied. “What’s gotten in to you?”

Jason shook his head. “I don’t know. I just feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.” No sooner had he said that his communicator beeped causing Jason to jump startled and cover it with his right hand.

“Was that my pager?” Mr. Scott asked as he moved to look for it.

Jason stood up. “That was my pager. I’ll use the kitchen’s phone.” He made his way to the kitchen, once the swinging door was closed Jason lifted his wrist to his mouth. “This is Jason.”

“Jason we need you at the Command Center.” Alpha’s voice came from the small devise.

“I’m on my way, Jason out.” Jason opened the swinging door and peered his head out to see his father was still on the couch. “Hey Dad. I gotta go you mind if we finish our talk tonight?”

Mr. Scott looked up from the magazine he was looking at. “I don’t mind.”

Jason closed the door before teleporting off in a red streak.

In the Command Center five colored lights teleported in. “What’s going on Zordon?” Kim asked.

“Rita has sent down the Mighty Montour in the park.” Zordon answered.

“It’s morphin time!” Jason called. The five morphed before teleporting out of the building.

The Rangers teleported down to see the Mighty Montour causing trouble.

“Hey horn breath!” Billy yelled getting the monster’s attention.

“Why don’t you pink someone who’s not scared of you!?” Zack added.

The monster charged at the Rangers.

“Scatter!” Jason yelled.

The five quickly scattered and started using the playground equipment as their weapons.

But the fight was not enough the monster was winning.

In the Command Center Alpha, and Zordon was watching the battle through the Viewing Globe.

“Zordon they’re getting pummeled!” Alpha cried.

“Perhaps time to give them the accent weapons.” Zordon said.

“We’re winning!” Rita exclaimed. “And for the finishing touch.” She got her staff ready to through. “Magic wand, make my monster grow!”

Back in the park the monster grew.

“We need dinosaur power now!” Jason called as he stretched his arm out to the sky.

Within minutes the five Zords came into view and the Rangers jumped for their own Zord.

Soon even with the Zords it still wasn’t enough.

“Lets pull them together guys!” Jason called from his Zord, and within minutes the Megazord was activated. But even with the Megazord is wasn’t enough.

“Rangers return to the Command Center for new instructions.” Zordon told them from their communicators.

“Right!!!!!” The five teleported off.

In the Command Center the morphed Rangers were standing around and talking at once.

“Rangers.” Zordon got their attention. “Your Zords are fine. They are safely back in their place.”

“Zordon what are we going to do?” Trini asked stepping forward.

“Rangers it is time for you to receive the Power Weapons.” Zordon informed them.

A weapon appeared in each of the Rangers hands and Zordon began to explain the weapons. “These are your Power Weapons. Jason the Power Sword is yours, the double-sided blade will serve you well. Zack the Power Axe is yours to call upon its Blade is as tough as diamonds and it also doubles as a powerful Cannon. Billy, the Power Lance goes to you with this you can split it in two and use it as two weapons or use it as one weapon that can deliver a powerful blow. Trini the Power Daggers are yours to use, you can use them as short-range weapons or you can throw them as projectile weapons. And Kimberly the Power Bow goes to you, it can fire normal bows and also fire powered up arrows as well. And Rangers when you combine your weapons they create a power full Power Blaster but only use this if you really need to”

Jason stepped forward and held out his Power Sword. “That Montour is history!”

Back on the Battlefield the Rangers teleported down.

“You better enjoy your last few minutes Montour!” Jason said energizing his Power Sword.

“Yeah cause as of right now your yesterday’s news!” Zack’s Power Axe started charging up.

“Your finished Montour!” Billy’s Power Lances were charging up.

“So pack up go and go back to wherever it is you came from!” Trini’s Power Daggers were charging up.

“And that goes for Rita!” Kimberly’s Power Bow started charging up.

Jason looked to his friends. “Here’s the plan. We’ll corner the Montour and give him a taste of our weapons. If that doesn’t work we’ll bring em tighter and give him a blast of our mega power.

“Right.” Trini nodded.

“We’re with ya!” Billy gave a nod.

“All the way!” Kimberly gave him a thumbs up.

“Yeah!” Zack gave his best friend a thumbs up and a nod.

The Rangers then attacked the Montour with their Power Weapons. First Trini and Kimberly attacked the Montour Kimberly shot an arrow at him and Trini threw one of her Power Daggers at the Montour causing the Montour to drop his Club and Shield. Then Billy and Zack attacked together with their Power Lance and Power Axe. Then Jason attacked the Montour with his Power Sword.

“Rangers it’s now time to combined your weapons and work together as a team.” Zordon instructed.

“Ok Rangers lets put them together.” Jason called.

“Power Axe!” Zack called.

“Power Bow!” Kimberly called.

“Power Lance!” Billy called.

“Power Daggers!” Trini called.

“Power Sword!” Jason jumped into the air and put combined his sword with the other weapons before coming down.

“Power Blaster!!!!!” The Rangers called before firing. With the combined power of the weapons they were able to destroy the Montour.

Rita who had been watching the battle with her telescope started to fume. “Those Power brats are going to be the death of me!”

“But it was only one battle Rita.” Squatt told her but was quickly shushed by Baboo.

“SHUT UP!” Rita screamed.

Back in the park there was another basketball game against Stone Canyon, and with Jason learning teamwork Angel Grove won.

Stolen Talent

Kimberly walked up to the Ranger table and sat down with a huff between Jason, and Billy.

“What’s up Kim?” Zack asked. “You look really stressed.”

“That’s cause I am.” Kimberly growled causing Zack to lean back in his chair with his hands held up innocently. “Easy girl.”

“Kim has to go up against DJ Tiner.” Trini explained.

“That big flirt?” Zack asked in surprised.

“Look who’s talking.” At Billy’s statement everyone minus Zack laughed.

“Ok so I go overboard a little.” Zack tried to defend himself only to cause his friends to laugh harder.

“Ok, ok a lot!” Zack exclaimed throwing his hands up in surrender.

After the laughter died down Kim pushed back her chair. “Gotta practice if I’m going to win.” She then walked off toward the balance beam.

Rita had been watching through her telescope. “That Pink Ranger does have a nice talent.” She turned from the telescope and walked into the palace. Once inside she headed for her magic book.

“What’cha thinking of your evilness?” Squatt asked.

“Kimberly has such a passion for gymnastics.” Rita opened her book and started to leaf through the pages. “She better be careful or it just might…” She trailed off as she looked up from her book and at her three henchmen as she finished. “Get stolen.” She turned back to her book.

“A stolen talent.” Goldar replied. “The Pink Ranger will not know what hit her!”

The following day the Rangers were enjoying the beautiful day at the park when Rita teleported down, she walked over and hid behind a tree as she watched the Rangers who were playing Frisbee. Rita began to say a spell and near the end of it she extended her arm out toward Kimberly.

“Kim, heads up!” Zack tossed the Frisbee toward the girl in pink.

Kimberly started to reach for it but stopped as started to glow pink causing her to look at her hands. Her friends ran up to her.

“Kimberly!” Jason got to her first quickly followed by Zack, and both Trini, and Billy.

The pink glow came out of Kimberly and flew to Rita who was still hiding behind a tree. Rita opened an empty glass jar and as the pink glow came close Rita captured the Pink Ranger’s talent. “Good luck kiddies.” She turned and teleported off.

Back to the Rangers, Kimberly swayed and started to fall. Jason caught her before she could hit the ground.

“We need to get you to Zordon.” Zack said as he laid a gentle hand on Kim’s shoulder.

“No.” Kimberly protested as she tried to pushed herself away from Jason but once she was on her own feet she swayed again and fell into Jason’s chest. “Ok.”

Zack looked around making sure they were safe before moving his wrist to his mouth. “Zordon, Alpha come in.”

“What is it Zack?” Alpha’s voice came through the small device.

“We have an emergency. Stand by for teleportation.” Zack answered.

Zack teleported in a black teleportation streak, fallowed by Trini’s yellow streak, and Billy’s blue streak.

Jason picked up Kimberly to where she was now in his arms. “Your going Kimmie.” He told her softly.

“I hope so.” Kim said as she kept her left arm wrapped around the back of his neck and her right hand was fisted in the collor of his shirt.

Jason looked around before teleported off in his red teleportation streak with the mixture of Kimberly’s pink teleportation streak.

Black, yellow, and blue teleportation’s came down to reveal Zack, Trini, and Billy. “Zordon some things wrong with Kimberly.” Trini told their mentor.

No sooner had she said that Jason’s teleportation mixed with pink came down revealing Jason and a Kimberly who was in his arms.

“Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay!” Alpha cried.

“Rangers observe the Viewing Globe.” Zordon instructed.

The Ranger teens turned to the Glob and saw what Rita had done to Kimberly.

“So Rita’s responsible.” Billy shook his head.

“But.” Zack looked from the Globe to the weak Kimberly, and finally Zordon. “What did she take from Kim?”

“Rita has stolen Kimberly’s gymnastics talent.” Zordon explained.

“We have to get it back from that witch!” Trini exclaimed.

Just then the alarm rang off. “Doesn’t that witch ever quit?” Zack huffed as they turned to the Viewing Globe to see a monster causing hectic in the city.

“The monster is named Collector.” Zordon told them. “Rangers, be careful of his black pouch. Kimberly you should stay here so Alpha can run some tests.”

Kimberly nodded. “I will.”

Jason gently helped Kimberly stand and she leaned on a counsel. “Alright.” Jason moved back a little from his close friend as he reached behind him. “It’s morphin time!”

The four Rangers teleported down to the battlefield. “That’s as far as you go!” Jason yelled pointing at the monster, and Putties.

The monster turned around. “Oh goody more things to collect.”

“Your collection stops right here and now!” Zack yelled.

“Well see about that!” The monster growled. “Putties! Attack!”

Kimberly was lying flat on her back on a medical table as Alpha scanned her body. “It looks like Rita not only stole your gymnastics talent, but it looks like she took some of your life energy as well.” Alpha explained.

“That’s why I can hardly stand.” Kim said sadly. “I always said that gymnastics is my life.”

“If the Rangers destroy the Collector monster then your talent will be restored.” Zordon told the Pink Ranger.

Kimberly sat up on the medical bed and turned to look at her mentor. “But Zordon I have a gymnastics competition later today. I can’t compete without my talent?”

“Don’t worry Kimberly.” Alpha told her as he placed a robotic hand on her shoulder.

Kimberly sat on the edge of the bed. “Zordon I feel helpless.”

“You will soon be back in the fight.” Zordon said soothingly.

Jason rolled to a stop causing Trini, Billy, and Zack to run to him. “Jason, you ok?” Zack asked.

“Yeah.” Jason got to his feet. “His pouch.” He eyed the black pouch. “I bet if we destroy it Kim’s talent along with whatever else the monster stole will be restored to normal.”

“What do you have planned?” Billy asked.

“We use our Power Weapons on that monster.” Jason replied. “If we use them at once we might be able to destroy it.”

“I’m all for it!” Zack gave a quick nod.

“Yeah!!” Both Trini, and Billy nodded.

The Collector growled at them. “Hey what are your four planning over there?” He wanted to know.

“Your destruction!” Zack yelled at the monster.

Jason looked at his friends. “Lets do it guys.” He looked back at the monster. “Power Sword!”

“Power Axe!”

“Power Lance!”

“Power Daggers!”

“Fire!” Jason yelled. The four deferent colored energy lights shot out of the weapons and zapped at the black pouch.

“No! My collection!” The monster yelled as things came out of the pouch.

In the Command Center Kimberly was still seating on the medical bed when the pink glow flew up to her and surrounded her.

“Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay!” Alpha cried. “Kimberly your talent is back!”

The pink glow floated around Kimberly until disappeared inside her. “Now I have a score to settle.” She got off the bed. “Its morphin time! Pterodactyl!”

Zack was slammed to the ground and rolled, his friends ran up to him. “I’ve had it with you!” Jason yelled pointing his sword at Collector.

“You caused me to loose my collection.” Collector told them, he then charged at the Rangers but was stopped by an arrow.

“Kimberly!” Jason yelled when he saw her standing on a cliff with her Power Bow in hand.

Kimberly flipped into the air and landed perfectly in front of her friends. “You messed with the wrong girl!” She exclaimed as she pointed at Collector.

“Like I’m scared of the Pink Ranger.” Collector laughed. “What are you going to do? Throw your hairbrush at me?” He laughed at his own joke.

Kim turned to her friends. “It feels great to be back.” She smiled under her helmet.

“Lets pull our weapons together.” Jason instructed.

“Power Axe!”

“Power Bow!”

“Power Lance!”

“Power Daggers!”

“Power Sword!” Jason jumped into the air and latched his weapon with the other weapons before landing on the ground.

“Ready.” Zack, Billy, and Trini said.

“Aim.” Jason said.

“Fire!” Kimberly called.

Five color of light charged at Collector and destroyed him.

In Rita’s place Rita was pouting. “Its no fair! Why can’t I win?!”

Kimberly was in the Youth Center competing against her rival and Kimberly won.

“I can’t wait for this competition to start!” Zack grinned.

“Hey Richie. Who’s that guy?” Zack asked seeing a guy working on a hot new move.

“Some new guy from Stone Canyon.” Richie told him.

“Hey Doubt!” A morphed Zack yelled. “You mess with my friends, you mess with me!”

Dance Competition

“I can’t wait for this competition!” Zack exclaimed as he, Trini, and Billy sat down at a table that looked over at the back of the Youth Center to where the city holds competitions.

“You’re going to do great Zack.” Billy told his close friend as Trini nodded.
Richie walked over to them. “Hey guys.” He greeted with a smile.

“Hey.” Trini smiled.

“Pull up a chair.” Zack offered.

Richie took a seat in between Trini, and Billy. “So have you looked at your competition yet Zack?” He asked.

Zack shook his head. “No yet.” Just then something caught his eye. “Hey Richie who’s that guy?” He asked as he eyed a dancer who was showing off some hot moves.

“Some new guy from Stone Canyon.” Richie answered. “But your better then him.” He quickly told his friend.

“Yeah.” Both Trini, and Billy said in union.

“Thanks for trying guys.” Zack continued to eye the dancer. “But I think he’s better then I am.”

Rita had been watching through her telescope. “So Zack is starting to feel doubtful huh?” She cackled as she turned and headed inside her palace. “Finster!”

Finster was in his lab working on his monster book by placing pictures of monsters inside and then wrighting the monster’s name under the picture.

“Finster!” Rita walked into the lab. “I want your most annoying monster you have.”

Finster walked over to one of his many monster shelves as he said. “Then you’ll want the monster named Doubt.” He grabbed the clay monster off the shelf and walked over to his machine.

“What does he do?” Rita asked.

“When someone he sees is feeling self confident in something, Doubt will use his laser brush and shook at that person. Giving that person self doubt.” Finister explained.

“Perfect!” Rita cackled.

Jason, Kim, Trini, and Billy walked over to a dark corner of the Youth Center. Jason moved his wrist to his mouth. “This is Jason.”

“Rangers there’s a monster in the abandon construction site.” Zordon’s voice came through the device.

“We’re on our way. Jason out.” With that the four teleported away.

Four colored lights teleported down and revealed the morphed Rangers. “He’s around here somewhere guys.” Jason told his friends.

“Welcome Rangers!” The monster named Doubt came into view along with Putties.

The Rangers got into defensive stances. “And who are you?” Kim demanded.

“I am called Doubt.” The monster introduced himself. “Welcome to my playground.”

“Charming.” Kim said dryly.

“Putties attack!” Doubt pointed at the Rangers.

Zack walked out of the locker room after a hard dance practice. Walking over to his locker he opened it just as he heard his communicator beep.

“Aw man!” Zack quickly looked around before quickly reaching in and grabbing the device. “What’s up Zordon?”

“Zack, the others need you at the abandon construction site.” Zordon explained.

“On the way, Zack out.” Zack quickly strapped his communicator on his wrist, closed his locker and walked over to the end of the hall. “Its morphin time! Mastodon!” He then teleported out.

Jason, Kim, Trini, and Billy regrouped as they held their weapons. “We need Zack to form the Power Blaster.” Billy stated.

“Someone say my name?” Zack teleported in front of his friends.

“Zack.” Kim smiled under her helmet.

“Lets make this quick.” Zack charged up his Power Axe. “Cause I have a competition to win.”

“Not if I drain you first!” The monster charged at the Rangers.

The Rangers quickly scattered and started to battle the remaining Putties.
Doubt turned to Zack and using his laser brush clashed at the Black Ranger.

Zack went flying backwards and slammed into Jason who had just roundhouse kicked a Putty and the two hit the ground.

“Jason! Zack!” Kimberly, Billy, and Trini ran up to the two. “Are you guys ok?” Kimberly asked as she helped Jason to his feet as Billy helped Zack to his feet.

“What hit me?” Zack asked as he shook his head to get the stars out of his vision.

“You should start feeling doubtful now Black Ranger.” The Doubt monster laughed. “My work here is now done. I’ll be back Rangers!” With that he teleported away.

Jason, Kim, Trini, Billy, and Zack were in the park. Zack was doing a dance routine that he was planning on doing at his dance competition, but he kept messing up his routine.

Zack tripped over his feet and landed face first in grass causing his friends to wince. Zack picked himself up off the grass. “Ouch.” He rubbed his forehead as he sat on the grass.

“Zack what happened?” Billy asked. “You’ve been working on that routine for two weeks.”

“Yeah, you have it down flat.” Kim added. “You’ve been showing up Bulk, and Skull with it too.”

“I bet Rita’s Doubt monster had something to do with this.” Trini looked at her friends.

“Yeah.” Zack nodded suddenly remembering. “That monster slashed me with his laser brush.”

“Maybe there’s something Zordon or Alpha can do.” Kim offered.

“I hope so.” Zack said.

The five Rangers stood in the main area of the Command Center as they watched Alpha scan Zack.

The alarm rang off causing the Rangers to turn to the Viewing Globe. “Doubt monster’s back. He’s now in the park.” Trini said.

“Lets go.” Jason said, four lights teleported out.

“Rita sure is taking things personally for us.” Zack huffed.

“She’s trying to brake you, so it’ll be easer for her to destroy you and for her to conquer Earth.” Zordon explained to him.

Zack looked up at his mentor. “Zordon, do you really think my friends, and I have what it takes to keep Rita from conquering Earth?”

“Do not doubt yourself Zachary.” Zordon told him. “It’s exactly what Rita wants.”

“Whoa!” A morphed Jason was thrown into a morphed Billy, and Trini causing the three to fall to the ground.

A morphed Kimberly grabbed a swing before putting one foot on the seat. “Hey ugly!” She swung backwards before swinging forward and jumping into the air. When she came down she kicked the monster in the head.

The monster stumbled backwards. “Hey!” He complained as he caught his balance.

A blast hit the monster square in the chest causing the monster to stumble back and fall backwards.

“Zack!” Trini yelled.

A now morphed Zack was standing on top the monkey bars as he held his Power Axe. “You mess with my friends. You mess with me!” He jumped down from the bars.

Jason, Trini, Billy, and Kim ran up to their friend. “Zack.” Jason put a hand on his shoulder. “How are you feeling?”

“Perfect!” Zack gave him a thumbs up.

The Rangers then stood in a line. “Lets pull out our weapons.” Jason instructed.

“Power Axe!”

“Power Bow!”

“Power Lance!”

“Power Daggers!”

“Power Sword!” Jason jumped into the air and connected his sword with the other weapons before he landed back on the ground in front of the others.

“Power Blaster!!!!!” The five called.

“Don’t point that thing at me!” The monster exclaimed.

“Fire!!!!!” Five different colored lights shot out of blaster and zoomed toward the monster destroying it.

“Magic wand, make my monster grow!” Rita tossed her wand down.

XXX

“We need Dino Power now!” Jason called as he stretched his arm out to the sky.

Within minutes the Zords came running up and the Rangers jumped to their Zord.

“Rangers log in.” Jason said as he powered up his zord.

“Zackman is back in action and ready to kick ass!”

“All systems on line.”

“Time for the big boys.”

“Lets chop this guy down to size.”

The Rangers then formed the Megazord.

“I’m not scared of you!” The monster exclaimed, he quickly moved his arm to slash the Megazord.

“Look out!” Zack pointed out the windshield of the Megazord.
The monster’s arm slashed at the Megazord sending it to the ground.

“We need to get to get back on our feet!” Kim exclaimed.

The Megazord finally got to its feet. “Power Sword now!” Jason called.
The Power Sword flew from the sky and landed in the Megazord’s hand.

“Uh oh!” The monster whimpered before the Magazord charged at him with the Power Sword.

“I can never win!” Rita cried as she stood on her balcony. “I have a headache!”

“Alright Zack!” Jason claimed his hand on his shoulder.

“Yeah!” Kimberly handed his water bottle to him.
