Is there any point denying you powerful items?

Because clearly you not having them in this reality means there's another reality where you DO have them. And since I don't want you to have universe-jumping devices, it means your all-powerful parallel counterpart will jump to this universe and merge with this universe's version of you, creating Perfect George.
