Greetings again! I'm back with yet another crossover idea for you all. The nearly 4 month writer's block I had for "Black Water" lifted once I wrote this chapter to my latest fic, so I hope to have an update on BW before the end of next week.
Much like the other, this will also be another 4 way crossover, encompassing In Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and SPD. I got the idea from watching the fourth 'Die Hard' movie a few months back and thought this would make for an interesting fic. This will be a little AU from what we've seen, and will first start off in three different years: 3007, 2008 and 2028. (3 years after SPD ended)
As a side note: For this to work out, I have kept Sky as the Red SPD Ranger, reasons will arise shortly.
Bare with me for the first few chapters, and as usual, the plot will be revealed soon.
I do hope you all enjoy this, and please read and review!

Chapter 1: The Big Bang Theory
3007
The warm summer breeze from the ocean felt cool to her skin, which seemed to burn red hot. She had no idea why, perhaps it was due to the heat of the room inside, or maybe the glass of wine she has before. She didn’t even know half these people that came out for the annual banquet. The Excelsior was a beautiful place to hold a banquet such as this- ocean view, wonderful food, what more could one ask for?
Her eyes stared, distracted, into the wine glass she held in her hands gently. Swirling the red liquid around she watched carefully at the line it made on the rim of the glass. Not too sweet, not too sour. Just right. Lifting the glass to her lips she took a small sip and watched as the sun continued to set behind the ocean-lined horizon.
It was June already, half way through the year. Where did the first five months fly to? How that she thought about it, where had the last seven years gone? How did she get into this business? Sure, the thought of fighting crime and working for the ‘greater good’ had crossed her mind several times, but why was she really here, and why did she feel like she belonged somewhere else?
“You look distracted,” came a voice from behind her, a cool and calm voice that she recognized immediately. That was the second time today someone had said that to her.
“What does ‘distracted’ look like, do tell.” She grinned.
He replied playfully to her grin. “Eyes gazing, a wine glass half full,” he swallowed his remaining mouth full, “and not inside dancing like everyone else, Jen.”
Jen Scotts gave a small smile. “Lucas, you’re drunk.”
“Drunk is a matter of perspective, I am no more than tipsy.” Lucas Kendall chuckled and joined her on the stone guard of the balcony. “What’s wrong, Jen?” She gave no immediate reply. “It’s because of today, isn’t it?”
Jen bit her lip and swirled the wine glass once more. “Six years, Lucas, since we’ve been back today, and yet it feels so...” she tried to think of the word to describe it, “I don’t know, so different, so changed.”
Lucas’s eyes stared over the balcony. “Maybe we were the ones that changed, or maybe the future really did shift. We’ll never really know, will we?”
Looking at her, he saw Jen’s mind has shifted once again, to a topic that she hardly spoke about, not to anyone. Following her distant gaze, down three stories, to where a couple stood in the silhouette of the sun, holding each other close and exchanging a kiss here and there. He knew what was on her mind, who rather.
The Blue Ranger chose his words carefully. “Jen,” he paused, trying to think of what to say. “We all miss him, just as much as you do, believe me.” He placed his hand on hers and gave her a reassuring smile.
“It’s okay, Lucas, really. He’s probably married with kids now; he’s probably forgotten all about me.” Jen finished off the glass and smiled. “C’mon, they’re starting to make some more of those stupid speeches; I think we should be there.”
They turned slowly and walked past the large stain glass doors and sat down next to Katie and Trip as a glamorous clap began. The Admiral took the podium and began his annual speech of accomplishments that Time Force has made. As all eyes were trained on him, Jen’s turned back to the black, star-filled night that began to set over the city. The Admiral’s voice began to fade slowly, replaced with reveries of a time, long ago forgotten.

Wes Collins stared silently into the night sky and sipped his drink slowly. He had been waiting for this day to come, and begged for it to end. Six years had gone by since he saw them- since he saw her. Six years that he thought she- they may be coming back, but as the years went by his hopes began to fade slowly. Maybe she was a cause not worth holding onto.
“There you are, I was beginning to think you had vanished,” a young, attractive woman came up behind him and kissed him on the cheek. Wes gave no response but continued to gaze up at the stars. “Earth to Wes,” she muttered in his ear.
His gaze snapped. “Hmm? Oh, sorry, I didn’t hear you. Hi.” He stuttered.
Jackie chuckled at him. “Getting lost in space, are we?”
“No, just thinking.”
She rose an eyebrow. “About?”
He shrugged. “Nothing in particular.” Wes let out a light sigh as Jackie grabbed his hand and lead him back inside to the party. He gave one last glance into the night sky, in hopes to see that familiar swirl of blue and black, but nothing came. Another year down, another letdown. Maybe she wasn’t coming back after all.
Trailing the brunette, Wes looked over to the entrance into the foyer and saw two familiar faces that made him smile. “Carter, Andros!” he called and left Jackie’s side. He embraced his fellow Red Rangers in a brotherly hug. “Glad you two could make it.”
Carter smiled. “We almost didn’t, Wes. Traffic on the parkway was horrendous.”
Andros grinned and nodded in agreement. “Three hours in a car is way too long for me, but seeing as we are here now, might as well take advantage of it.”
Wes led them into the kitchen where snacks and drinks were being served, and began to catch up on old times.

The blue tint of the room was enough to make Sky’s eyes hurt, adding onto the growing headache he had already come into work with only hours before. Rubbing his eyes he looked away from the monitor and squeezed his eyes shut. He has been working for almost thirty six hours straight without a break. Then again, who could blame a man for working this hard? A hacker was nothing to be taken lightly.
Sky strained to keep focused on the screen as they ran another IP search, but once again, nothing showed. For the past two weeks, SPD was in search of a computer hacker that was able to access their system. No one how, no one knew why, and no one knew where he was to begin with.
The digital clock blinked midnight, and day fourteen of an endless search. “Any sign of this guy?” he asked one of the men sitting in front of him.
“No, Sir, nothing, not a trace.” The man said.
Sky rubbed his eyes yet again and sighed. “Two weeks since we saw trace of him last. That’s long enough to make my head-”
An alarm suddenly sounded, waking Sky from his reverie. The room fell into a blood-red tint as the large monitor began to flicker black and green. “Sir, he’s struck again, the hacker’s back!”
“Put a tracer on him immediately, I want to know where this guy is, and how he’s accessing our system.” Sky bellowed as his heart began to race. The tech began typing furiously, but it was no use. Every single screen in the Command post turned black as a green skull began to form on the screen.
“Sir, he’s locked us out completely. I’m going to try to override it-”
“Don’t try, do!” As Sky spoke, a type began to come across the screen of every single computer, silencing all personnel as Sky read the message aloud.
“Greetings, SPD. I come before you with a warning, a request, if you will. As you will see, I have penetrated your precious security system. I now have access to records, building codes, and most off all, your weapon supply.”
The screen cleared as more type began to form.
“I would have thought you learned from our last little meeting, that searching for me would lead to disaster, and now that I see you failed to obey my last warning, now is the time to strike. Everything you know, everything you will know, and everything you knew will soon cease to exist, now that I am in control.”
“Sir, he’s uploading a computer virus into our software, we can’t stop it.”
“Don’t bother trying to stop the virus, for the more you erase it, the larger it becomes. For now, I’ll begin my destruction from the top down...”

“What the hell is going on here?” Jen hollered as she ran into the Command floor and watched as chaos enveloped the floor.
Trip was running across the room from computer to computer. “I have no idea, Jen, it just started happening. The computers went nuts, and suddenly this happened. Someone’s hacked into the system!”
Jen’s eyes stared at the large overhead monitor at the words typed still onto the screen began to blink.
“Ready or not… here I come.”
The room suddenly went black, and the chaos of blinking lights and beeping ceased as the room grew quiet, with nothing but the heavy breathing of Trip to fill the silence. Jen felt the Goosebumps on the back of her neck rise slowly. A single, red light flickered in the darkness of the black light that filled the space; it’s beeping single and consistent.
“Evacuate,” Jen said, as she saw the blinking red light begin to flicker faster, and the beeping sound increase. All at once the sea of techs rose and crashed towards the doors as the Lieutenant hollered louder. “Evacuate the building, now!” Jen commanded as another officer ran for the panic button, as it was known to many just as the light went solid and the beeping stopped.
The first explosion rocked the building as fire engulfed half the area, sparks flew and circuits blew sending Jen and a few others flying against the wall. She fought the urge to pass out and shook it off as the small fragments began to fire off as well and the building shook as another explosion erupted yet again in a different part of the floor.
Trip grabbed her hand and pulled her through the fireproof doors and literally jumped down flights of emergency stairs.
“Trip, what the hell is going on here?” Jen hollered as they flew down the stairs with the building shaking just above their heads. Trip looked behind her and wiped the thick blood trail from his mouth.
“I have no idea, it just happened. Looks someone hacked the system and uploaded a virus that must’ve overloaded the circuits, but the bomb, I have no idea where it came from, nor how it even got past security!”
Another strong explosion knocked the two Rangers from their feet and sent them rolling. Pieces of burning metal and wood rained down upon them, burning and slashing their skin and clothes. Minutes later, Trip and Jen made it down to the hanger where emergency pods were kept to evacuate from this kind of incident.
“Where are Katie and Lucas?” Jen asked as Trip jumped inside to start the engine, which was supposed to be idling already. In the back of his mind, something told him something wasn’t right. Other pods began to leave as the roof and walls heaved dangerously under the pressure of the collapsing building. Jen stared upward and wondered how this could have happened…
“Fire the pod, now!” Lucas commanded as him and Katie began their effort over. Lucas held his rib cage while Katie limped on a leg that looked to be broken in two spots. Cuts and blood stained their skin and clothes. Jen ran up the ramp as the pod began to hover, hollering for Lucas and Katie to hurry.
“You can do it, c’mon!” Jen hollered as another explosion erupted in the hanger, sending her flying back into the pod. She looked up as two black figures made their way into the pod, Lucas and Katie, she was assuming and collapsed next to her. Fire seemed to engulf the escape pod fully and sent a blast of heat into the small, confined space. Blackness threatened to consume her whole as she dragged herself over to the time consol to set its destination to the safety house just across the city, or at least close to it. Billows of smoke filled the pod as Jen fought to stay awake and type in the jump destination.
Her fingers fell over the keypad as another explosion slammed her head against the consol, knocking her out completely, alongside Trip. The pod began to shiver and shake as it exited the holding space through the fire and molten debris. Turbines pushed the ship up towards the sky as a voice echoed to its unconscious travelers:
“Destination approved. Time jump set for year 2008…”
The ship entered the vortex as the final explosions rocked the quiet city. Screams of terror and pain erupted into the slumbering silence as the building collapsed; the once proud Time Force headquarters now lay behind them in nothing but melted piece of metal and fire, and black billows of smoke disappearing against the night sky…
