Hey everybody! Taking a break from my Operation overdrive fic, I've decided to write my own Kigdom Hearts fic! Now I hope that I don't totally bomb this, and any critisism is greatly appreciated. Nobody becomes Power Rangers or anything. Well, here we go:
Chapter One: A New Day
The Key of Destiny awoke slowly, stretching out his limbs. He stood up, looking around. He was in The Proof of Existence, where the thirteen gravestones of the Organization XIII members were. His gravestone was red, signifying that he was dead. It suddenly flickered, turning a sky blue colour.
“How am I-” He started to ask himself, looking down at his own body. Sighing, a smile crossed his face.
“Oh well, it’s good to be back.” He said, leaving the room.

It was dark on the Destiny Islands. Sora sat in a tall tree, looking up at the stars. Silence was his only company as he remembered his previous adventures. He smiled, jumping to the ground. He sensed the creatures before he saw them.
He called upon his Keyblade, spinning around. it was a group of Samurai Nobodies, creeping ever closer to his position.
The Nobodies ran at him, slashing at him repeatedly with their blades. Sora fell back, holding his chest in pain.
“Where’s Donald and Goofy when I need them?” Sora asked himself, holding his Keylade out in front of him. He ran at them, slashing at one repeatedly until it disappeared. He saw another one standing in an odd stance, and he saw his opening.
Performing Duel Stance, time froze around Sora and the Nobody. At the last second, Sora dashed forward, catching the Nobody across the chest with his Keyblade.
The remaining Nobodies came at him together, grabbing hi from either side. Concentrating, Sora cast Firaga, sending fireballs swirling around him. The Nobodies disappeared, the searing heat causing too much damage for them.
His Keyblade disappeared once again, and he ran towards Riku’s house.
It couldn’t be possible. The only way that Nobodies could be around would be…..
Was Organization XIII back?

Leon walked through the Bailey for the tenth time that night, searching for any trace of danger. He wasn’t about to let anything happen to his world again. He heard a noise coming from the Great Maw. He ran in that direction, skidding to a halt at the edge of the cliff.
There was nobody there, but at the castle, something was happening. Suddenly, a green flame shot up in front of him. Leon flipped backwards out of the way, pulling out his Gunblade.
“Maleficent.” He said with a snarl, dashing towards her. He slashed at her, but she disappeared in a burst of green flame. A fat, animal-like figure came charging towards him. Leon stepped out of the way, and the thing fell to the floor.
“I’ll show you!” It shouted, jumping up. Leon barely had time to hold his Gunblade up to stop it’s attack. Maleficent appeared behind him, and Leon was thrown forward. He got to his feet again, the anger obvious on his face. He couldn’t possibly take on both Maleficent and her lackey at the same time. But suddenly, he wasn’t alone anymore.
“Hey Leon, looks like you could use some help!” Yuffie yelled from atop a ridge. She whipped her shuriken at the enemies, but Maleficent moved again. The animal, however, dropped to the ground.
“Hey you, thing! Get up!” Yuffie yelled appearing beside Leon in a cloud of smoke.
“The name’s Pete!” He shouted back, running away. Yuffie jumped up and down happily, and Leon smirked.
“I take it that you want to help with my patrol?” He asked, already knowing the answer.

Roxas returned to the Proof a few hours later to see three more gravestones light up. Axel’s, Xigbar’s and Vexen’s. Xigbar came out first, but teleported away with a smile. Axel appeared next, a big smile on his face.
“Hey, Roxas!” Axel said gleefully, patting his friend on the shoulder. Axel looked around, and all of the colour in his face drained away when he saw Vexen appearing. Vexen got up, looking around, and saw Axel and Roxas. Vexen’s eyes lit up in rage, and he charged at Axel, his shield appearing in his hands.
“Wait, Vexen, I don’t want to fight you!” Axel shouted, hiding behind Roxas. A portal appeared in the ceiling, and Xigbar appeared, hanging upside down.
“C’mon guys, if we’re going to beat Sora and his buddies, we’re gonna have to work together.”
‘Sora.’ Roxas thought to himself, still wondering how he had made his way out of Sora’s body.
