ok i am going to New York Saturday and i was wondering if anyone could tell me of any good stores where i might be able to find Japaneses toys like Go-Onger mecha or Geki Mecha.

It might be a longshot, but check in and around Chinatown in Manhattan. There are some hidden nooks in the underground malls that may have them, but they mainly specialize in Gundam and other more popular Japanese licenses.
