The pilot wasn't meant to be seen by the eyes of fans. It's not a real indicator of what we can expect out of the show.

Fair enough, I'm going to reserve judgment for when I actually see the finished product though. Worse comes to worse there's always the original series from Japan to go back to and watch, so I'm not worried. I am kind of excited about seeing it now though so thanks!

Congrats on seeing it. I have some high hopes for this show now, instead of low expectations.
