Title: Power Rangers: Grand Prix

Summary: When the evil Carbonator Empire arrives on Earth. Three Speed Zords arrive and grant three teenagers the power to become Power Rangers. However the United States government believes these aliens are threats to national security.
Author's Note: New Brighton, Ohio is a fictional city in the Put-in-Bay area. In fact it's most of the islands in Lake Erie combined. This is my adaptation of Engine Sentai Go-onger.
It all started on the Planet Motorway. We were chasing the evil Carbonator Empire, a empire that plans to pollute every world they invade, off our planet...
"You are under arrest Carbonators!" said Raptor, a condor and race car hybrid. Raptor was join by a bear/RV hybrid and a lion/bus hybrid. They are named Honey and Leo. All three are trying to get rid of the Carbonator Empire from their peaceful planet of Motorway.
"Here I go!" Raptor sped forward at full speed. Eventually destroying the Carbonators' vehicles. Sending the three mechanical humanoids through a portal. However that portal sent the empire to Earth.
We had to get to Earth and fast. When we arrived at Earth. The Carbonator Empire had already set up their castle. Now we must stop them. But we can't stay in our forms on Earth. So we had to find three teenagers to aid us. These teenagers are going to be Power Rangers...
Chapter 1: The Grand Prix has Begun Part 1
Ted Chaplin, a graduate at New Brighton High School, sits at a table outside a motorhome. This motorhome is the home of the Power Rangers. His friends Elijah Morning and Collette Manning were sitting inside. Actually Elijah was making them all lunch.
Ted flips his special Power Rangers coin into the and catches it. He looks at the helmet of the first Red Ranger on it. On the back was the Power Rangers lightning bolt. "Heads again."
"Lunch is ready!" Elijah came out with a plate of BBQ chicken. Collette came out and sat down.
Collette Manning is the daughter of two Olympic gymansts. Her mother was a gold medal winner from Romania and her father was a bronze medal winner from United States. She was going to try and make it to the Olympics in 2004. Sadly a broken leg kept her from tryouts and ruined her gymnastics career. Instead she joined the New Brighton High School gymnastics team and won them the state championship for four years in a row. Now she's a graduate like Ted and Elijah. She has dark red hair and brown eyes.
Elijah Morning was New Brighton's star basketball player. He was going to be the next Lebron James. However Lebron James' popularity overshadowed Elijah's and he quit basketball. Even rejecting a sports scholorship to the University of Akron. Then he became a Power Ranger. The rest is history. He's African-American with his hair in corn rows.
Ted Chaplin has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has a Southern accent because he was from Texas. His father accepted a job as New Brighton High's football coach. With Ted as the star quarterback, the New Brighton Rockets won the state football championship for four years in a row. When Ted graduated from high school. He went into racing at the New Brighton Speedway and some illegal street racing on the side. He's planning to go to college as well and chose his major in engineering.
"Tastes great Elijah." Collette said in her Romanian accent. She speaks Romanian as a second language and has developed the accent over years.
As they ate, someone was watching them from the bushes. The two men were Homeland Security agents. They were trying investigate the mysterious meteor crashes a few weeks ago and believe the Power Rangers are involved.
"Alright, there they are." Special Agent Zach Gowery said. His partner was the former Blue Turbo Ranger, Justin Stewart.
"This doesn't seem right." Justin said. "The Power Rangers are about protecting Earth. Not trying to destroy it."
"The Power Rangers are responsible for property destruction over the years. How can you justify that? Even if you were once a Power Ranger."
"You can't make a omelette without breaking a few eggs."
"Whatever Justin..."
It was when the Rangers were finishing their lunch, when their equipment inside started to go off. Alarms were blaring and the Rangers ran inside. The first half of the RV is like any other inside. The back half was converted into a mini command center for the Rangers.
The Rangers went into their command center, with their Redline Morphers. There is also a computer terminal that will allow the Rangers to view the Carbonator Empire's activity in New Brighton.
"Looks like we have a Carbon Lord in the city." Speedy, the Ranger's helper robot, said. "You better get going rangers!"
The Rangers pack up their stuff and drive into the city.

Smogger, a incinerator like mechanical monster, created a panic at a church. Where a wedding had just ended and the entire wedding party were going to get the pictures taken. However Smogger terrified everyone and made them run for their lives. That's when the Ranger's RV arrived. The three Rangers ran out and stood in front of Smogger.
"Who are you?" Smogger said. "You really want to breathe in my hazardous smog."
"We're the Power Rangers and we're going to clog your pipes!" Ted said as he and the Rangers pulled out their Redline Morphers. They took a small cartridge out of a back pouch on their belts and slid them into the morphers.
"GRAND PRIX IGNITION!" The Rangers shouted. "GO FULL THROTTLE!"
The Rangers morphed. Ted was the Red Ranger, Elijah was the Blue Ranger and Collette was the Yellow Ranger.
Justin and Zach arrived to spy on the Rangers' fight with Smogger.
"Pollutors! Destroy them!" Smogger exclaimed.
"RACER BLASTERS!" The Rangers pull out blasters that are shaped like gas pump nozzles. This time they use similar cartridges to activate their blasters. These cartridges are called their Zord Hearts. It's what they use for their standard weaponns, main cannon and their Zords. "ROD FORM!"
The Redline Blasters turn into baton like rods and the Rangers charge at the Pollutors.

At the Carbonator Empire's palace, the two prime ministers and the Emperess are watching the fight. They were the ones chased off of Planet Motorway.
"They're winning!" Prime Minister of Earth Pollution, Gastrik said.
"Hopefully not for long." Prime Minister of Air Pollution, Slugg said.
Emporess Carbonator, head of Water Pollution, said "Those Zords must have chased after us and gave the Rangers their power. No matter because we will pollute this planet to our liking. This will be our new home."

Someone else was also watching the Rangers battle from behind the scenes. A brown headed man with a mullet, stood at the top of the church stairs. He had green eyes and wore all black. Including a black vinyl trenchcoat. A young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes stopped her courier motorcycle. She had on a green hoodie and a gold cross chain around her neck.
"Are those the Power Rangers?" she asked in a high pitched voice.
"Yes and you are?"
"Ginger Spalding. Wait aren't you..." Ginger couldn't place her finger on it, but she knew the guy.
"Your memory serves you well. I am Richard Miller, former cop that made your arrest. How is probation?"
"I don't know why I was charged, when my father was the one stealing cars!"
"You were a accomplice to theft and breaking and entering."
"I was only ten years old! He couldn't afford a babysitter!"
"Surprising since you robbed the rich and gave to the poor. But kept a little for yourself."
"At least we thought of the poor! You and the rest of the cops in this city only think of the rich people! You don't help the poor!"
"The poor don't have anything of value. The rich of this city do and they must be protected." Richard said. "It's survival of the fittest out there Ginger. The rich is the fittest."
"You haven't heard of the old saying that the meek shall inherit the Earth."
"Whatever..." Richard walks away, but turns back to Ginger. "I'll be a Power Ranger soon and when I do Ginger. The poor you love so dearly will begin to regret the day they tried to free themselves from the iron grip of the wealthy."
Richard walks away leaving Ginger upset.
"I'll become a Power Ranger too. Then I'll stop you from hurting the poor..."
As the argument between Ginger and Richard ended, Smogger decided to retreat.
"Let's report in." Zach and Justin immediately left the scene.
Author's Comment: I just want to say that Ginger Spalding is based off Ginger from the Vehicle Voltron team. I just wanted add inspiration from my favorite cartoon as a child. Looks like Richard wants to be a Power Ranger for all of the wrong reasons. Ginger wants to be a Ranger to protect only the poor. But being a superhero is about protecting everyone. Not just a select social status.
