If you want copies go to Tokusatsudvd.com.
For the officials try Amazon.jp (http://amazon.jp/) ,CD Japan (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/) and Yahoo Auctions Japan (http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/)

Expect to pay around $500 or more for most full sets. Megaranger has 5 Volumes, and each Volume is around $80 a pop - that's $400 plus shipping.

The newer series are on 12 Volumes and cost around $40 each - which is about $480 for a set.

There's some sites that sell R2 copies of the official DVDs. I have a nice list I've bought and I say it's a better route.. unless you have $500 just to spend, LOL.

www.tokusatsudvd.com.

I'm sure there's many more, but I've dealt with this guy before. He's cool and quick to ship. Some say he's still to expensive when it comes to "copies", but I'd rather pay $60 for Megaranger than $500.

Curious question; for example the Megaranger set. Were the original DVDs DVD9 or DVD5?
The whole pixelation thing gets on my nerves. I have been considering buying the official set, but if the originals are just DVD5; I'll go the DVDR Route.

Oh okay the same link <Darkliptor> gave me somewhere up there ^. I don't blame you I wouldn't pay $500!

I don't actually have his Megaranger set, just using it as an example for the price range. However, I believe all his sets are DVD5. I do have a set of R2 copies I got from a member here, and they are on a DVD5 and the official releases were on DVD9 I believe, and the quality of those are great.

But speaking quality wise from DVD9 to DVD5. I have original R2 DVDs of GoGo-V - they are DVD9 and I burnt them onto DVD5s and compared them to the originals and you can't really tell any difference.

Hm...
I might consider this. I really want to buy all these official releases its just they cost as much as th Dragon Box Sets! I already told myself I am not going through another giant money spending spree.
