View Full Version : Can anyone paint an Accellular?

I just bought an Accellular with a good bit of wear to it, and was wondering if anyone here can paint it (well), and what they may charge for it. It would require silver and red paint. I would prefer the paint to be as close as possible to the original colors. I would do it myself, but I can't paint smoothly. I can provide pics a bit later if needed.
Someone please help. ;_;

You can't really see this one, but there's enough wear on it that the light comes through on it in a few spots.

I really just need the silver spots touched up where it's been rubbed off, and I need the red rim around the screen redone.

it seems most of it is the gray parts, tape the rest of the motpher off and go buy some spray paint...

Problem with that is I really want it to be the same color as the rest of the morpher...

go match it up, or re-paint all of it

Well, I decided to break both the Accellular and my Overdrive Tracker apart and combine them. I can put the face of the Tracker on the Accellular, but I need to find a way to paint on the missing details. Any suggestions? (all the details are silver)

Just curious, how much did it cost you?

You're an extremely unhelpful person. Please quit posting in my thread.
And what I paid for it really isn't important to the matter of how I'm going to get the silver details back up to snuff.

you are extremely dumb if you bought a fucked up morpher and you do not know how to paint it.
:023: good luck

Hmm, looking at the extent of the damage to it... If I were you I'd go ahead and re-paint all the parts. Because of the how much touching up you'd have to do, it'd probably end up looking better if you just went ahead and did the whole thing.
But... I'm not an expert on the subject. :/

I may do that with the red frame around the screen, but the question is - what kind of paint do I use for it?
You should ask Argus or Outoftime because I think they both have experience in these kind of jobs.

I have some silver paint that matches the silver on the Tracker perfectly, but the Accellular may be a different story.
You would have better luck repainting both of the red parts completely than try and match up the paint.
I would offer to paint it myself, but I dont really feel comfortable painting other peoples things.

The Accellular and tracker silver paint is the same.

On the silver part, I might recomend Testor's silver paint pen. I used it to custom my tracker, and it is almost exactly the same color!

My first question is where did you find this pen. The second is does it rub off easily. I used a metallic Sharpie on it, and it seems to come off fairly easily.
Anyway, here's what I just posted elsewhere.
So, here is what I did with an Accellular, an Overdrive Tracker, a silver metallic Sharpie, black ultra fine point pilot pen, and a screwdriver.

Nah, it seems to stay pretty well. I mean, I wouldn't go tossing it around the yard or anything, but it does alright!
I got it at Wal-mart, it came in a kit with a black and gold. I got mine on clearance about a year ago, but I've seen them in other walmarts with the other testors stuff.
