not to be confused with the new adventures of he-man(pure crap imo)

this is what i'm talking about:

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61hkPe%2BcelL._SS500_.jpg

it came out tuesday and it's like 17.99 at best buy and 16.99 on amazon.
while it's only the first 13 episodes of the first season. the special features are great. being an O.G. he-man fan i personally loved this series re-make. maybe even more than the original. the animation is awesome and each episode is actually a story continuation of the previous. just a shame it didn't last.

on another note. is there even an official he-man/motu discussion thread?
there is so much news regarding a new movie coming out. i totally feel there should be one. not enough fans out there or what?

EDIT: woops meant to post this in the general discussion thread

I got it today and watched the first two episodes and holy crap... I forgot how fucking amazing this show was. I mean I remembered it was good, but over time you tend to forget. I mean right from the opening credits you know this show is bad ass.

"I am Adam, Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Castle Greyskull. This is Cringer my fearless friend. Fabulous..." BAM! Laser blasts, explosions, villains jumping down. They set you up for a standard "sum up the plot" opening credits and totally pull the rug out from under you. It doesn't even matter how many times I see it, it's just pure awesomeness, and sets the tone for the rest of the show.

I haven't seen everything so I can't say it's the best animated action series, but it's the best one I've ever seen hands down.

This was a good remake of the old series. It's just too bad they never finished it.
