Membership requirements?

This is the first time I've ever tried to register (heck, I didn't even know this board existed until about a week ago), and the fact that my username was deleted before I was even fully registered really confuses me.

What exactly are these "membership requirements" that my account deletion email is talking about, and which one did my registration not meet? The only things I can think of are a valid email address and a username that isn't already taken... both of which I had. So what else is there?

In moderation, sometimes innocent people get flagged. It's not a perfect process.
