How can a mioderator just ban someone because they disagree with their opinion? This is a message board. We are supposed to debate topics. The Steriod issue in wrestling is an important topic that can't be ignored, I did not flame anyone. I merely posted an intellegent argument. And I never said you didn't present an intellegent argument.
But your argument at had some points that I felt had holes in them. So I was anxious to disagree. Since I have read a lot about the topic. You said we can't make a difference. But you are wrong, because if the fans discuss things it can make a difference. As information travels. I take the steriod issue very seriously.
When you told me you didn't want to talk about it, I took it as you talking to me as a member. How can a mod just ban anyone they want? I wasn't even arguing with you with any rules.
Jer has a personal vendetta against me, so I wouldn't go by what he says. The guys makes rules up in the wrestling thread on the fly. He is not a good moderator, at least not in that thread. The guy disagrees with my opinions and just doesn't want to be disagreed with. So he uses his mod powers as a crutch.
I'm sorry mods should not be treated like gods. Your just members like the rest of us. Your're just here to uphold the laws of the forum. And I broke none. Banning someone for sassing a mod is silly and second grade level crap ( especially when I flamed or disrespected no one). We aren't employees of Rangerboard here.
The argument had already ended and we had moved on. I wasn't going to say anything else on the matter, unless my priror arguments were countered ( or something new came up). There was no need to ban me. And whether you want to admit it or not it was not fair. You only banned me because you don't like me.
Its a shame Ray allows this to go on. Because I have a great deal of respect for the man. And Rangerboard was once known as a place where this type of crap didn't go on. People like to make fun of other boards here. But really they are no better then any other PR board. Since Rangerboard has lost what made it special. And is just another message board now.
I hope you and your fellow mods ( I am sure there are good ones, Deacon Sheilds seems to know not to take himself too seriously) are able to learn to not take yourselves too serious. And run this board in a more fair way that promotes free discussion. As thats what were all here for. Not to get in petty fights about forum status. It makes Rangerboard look bush league.
