My banning was suspecious

Alright, Con banned me for no reason at all. We were having a debate in the wrestling thread about steriod use in wrestling. Con was countering all my points and acting like he didn't want to talk about it. I saw some holes in his arguments and responded. At no point did he tell me I was going to be banned for continuing or said anything about banning the steriod topic ( which is a very serious issue in wrestling right now). I took it as Con and I having a discussion between each other as members. At no point did he act like a mod. Nor did I do anything to flame or insult him.

Correct me if I am wrong. But mods here are no better then the members. If we disagree with them on an opinion ( I am not talking about forum rules or mod related activity) we can debate with them like any other member. Now obviously a mod has the power to get rid of spam and any rule violaters. But at no point did Con warn me. He simply banned me because I disagreed with his opinion on steriods in wrestling.

Futhermore he banned me two days after the debate. Discussion in the thread had already moved on. Why was I not banned sooner?

Here is where the argument begins. Only read the stuff between me and Con , so it doesn't take forever to look through. Con gives his reasons for banning me on the last page. Thank You.

1. You were banned 2 days after the fact because I couldn't be near a PC until 2 days later where I saw your post. TommyIsGod would have surely banned you in my stead if not for the kindess out of his heart in waiting for me.

2. I TOLD YOU I did not wish to continue such a debate, especially when you kept putting words in my mouth and then creating these huges posts and "points" in which I now had to counter along with defending the statements you had already accused me of.

3. Not only did you act this same way towards me again after I DID warn you not, you did it to several members and from what I heard from two other mods, you do this all the time.

Take your 2 day ban like a man and learn to listen better to what mods are telling you. That is the lesson in this ban grasshopper. So now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
