BEAUTIFUL! Even though its still WIP, I can already imagine it painted...such eye candy
You know, this is something I'de except from BoJ/Banprestso since they're doing the exact same thing except with Kamen Rider, but eeh screw em. Lets us talented fans do the dirty work >=)

Most impressive for a first attempt. However, sculpting something this small must be fiddly, you should try sculpting a full size helmet, which would sell better, and if you can sculpt something that small, that well, on your first attempt, you could do a very good job!

Ah maaaaaaaaann. You started with the BEST helmet of MMPR!
j/k
seriously, I think MMPR Black and Red had the best helmet designs. Something about them that I just think screams hotness. :D

Nice! Yeah, MMPR Black was one of my favorite helmets, not sure why, but it looks so cool!

These are better. More cost effective than anything else :D
mmmm not to sure about that really, there only smaller, he's suggesting making them of the same materials as a full size helmet, so the only thing that will change is the amount of material used, he's even talking about adding plexi glass to them, which means they will have to be dremelled, and maybe cut in halves, just like real helmet kits.
Helmet kits are relatively cheap for the maker to produce, the high price is because of the time and labour involved, which I dont see being any less in the making of these little ones.
Maybe I assume wrong, but id say the majority of people would rather have one full size screen cast helmet than 2-3 fan sculpt mini helmets like this. Just my personal opinion.
They still look awesome though, and im sure the market is definatly there. I wouldnt bother with plexi glass though, cos whats the point its not like they can be warn lol.

Right, A. I mean, I would LOVE to have an actual helmet of MMPR Black but These little ones are cool to have to display in your room, office, desk, etc. If they are just as detailed as the real helmet, then that's just a big plus!

Yeah, I can do without the major detail. It's not like I'll be wearing it or anything. Just the necessary paint job, and it makes a perfect display piece.
thats probably what im going to end up doing. it will still be show accurate but wont have the cut out plastic visor. it will help keep price down if i don't have to do to much for it. i still need a link if anyone can point me in the right direction on mold makeing want to cast it in resin or fiberglass resin.

Looks great so far.
I imagine that you're going to do an MMPR white, but what about the other Dairanger designs? Are you going to do any other series or Sentai exclusives?
I would certainly be interested in a mini Ryuranger or a mini NinjaRed (red Alien Ranger).
