Would it kill you to post some pictures or just update any of the 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, green ranger costume threads you already opened?

Drill and care will equal holes you can breath out of. You may chip the paint around the holes, you'll just have to get paint that matches mixed for you and paint around the holes to cover it up.
In fairness tho, isnt your helmet a rouge? its so big you could fit an oxygen tank in the back of it and not have to bother with air holes!

lol how the hell could u not notice its the same helmet???
Pictures would help, but try to drill out a few holes (one-five at first), and see how well it works.

My green ranger helmet is without holes, and is a Jess one, much smaller, and I can survive in it for hours with no problem, air comin up round the neck and the gaps in the visor area, where the plexi glass isnt hard against the fiberglass.
Put it on, see how long u can last

When drilling if you use place blue painters tape down first then mark and drill the holes, it should prevent chipping of the paint.

agreed. mine is one of jess' as well, with no holes, and it still works perfectly for me. granted the plexiglass might fog up a little depending on circumstances, but air holes wont stop that anyway.

Heres a tip when drilling holes try to find the least visable place to drill. But when you drill use the sharpest finest drill bit you can find run it at high speed. Nail polish and clear coat can help clean up the holes in a pinch. but helmets can get hot you may want to leave it untouched and just put it on for photos.

id drill holes on near the mouth piece on the underside like they did on the show so the actors and stunt guys could breath, we did a topic on this once ages ago i think it was to show talyn instead of drilling holes in the visor he could drill them there and they couldnt be seen

I'd buy 2 pints of fastglas resin and a match, blow up the old helmet and get a better one

EDIT: Thinking about it, this is a little cheaper than Jess' MMPR Green. What kills everybody is the inaccuracy and the FROWN. If he (or whoever makes them) would spend just a little more time on it, it can get WAY better.
If people are looking for a really cheap costume, then he's the way to go.

I've heard the are nice quality helmets, its just why when you sculpt something, settle for less

yep, they are the coolest. You gettin a kit or she finishin it for you?
If you have the skill, get the kit, its just the better option, cheaper and faster to recieve.
Mine was from a kit, but took 3 different peoples efforts to look how it does now lol. Its a fab helmet.
Pic, cos I like posting them :P and i just repainted the silver for Expo this weekend

getting a kit from jess, going to do a sword of power to go with the suit aswell, im trying to make mine as different to the other green ranger suits people hav done, for starters ill be wearing a blade blaster and Dragon Dagger with mine, and im wondering if i should do the Fighting spirit paint job or the original paint scheme decisions decisions lol

Fighting spirit would be nice cos its rarely done, but its far less well known and popular as the standard dragon ranger look. Good luck watever you decide :)

I like having the original, but then having the "Fighting Spirit" scheme would be different from the others.
What would be your best solution is having two helmets...one you could have the original scheme, the other could be the Fighting Spirit scheme. :)
I'd go with the Fighting Spirit look.

for now ill go with the fighting spirit scheme, less detailing to do than with the original lol plus i like the silver/grey accents makes it stand out and reminds me of Dragonzords silver horn, ill post pics when its done(which will probably be after xmas saying its a xmas present lol)
I'm not a fan of the FS helmet. I really disliked how they strayed away from the original design, but I guess it works for some people. Go for it though dude, I'm sure it'll look good either way :D

What's the difference between the original and the Fighting Spirit one?
They added a silver accent to the top of the helmet:

don't hurt me! but i actually think rogues helmets are okay, as long as they have the clips
The visor is horribly huge, and it really makes the whole helmet look inaccurate.

They are if you don't want show accuracy and don't mind it being big on your head. :D

It's funny that they're all Tommy, yet they're of varying heights and builds.

This is PR, we can hardly expect continuity and attention to detail!

It's simple. Zeo is the latest of the three, so Tommy had grown taller by then.

They probably didn't even try to get suit actors of the same height :(

He more than likely grew a little over the course of the show, considering the fact that he was around 18 when he was the green ranger. Following this pattern of thought, it only makes sense that his builds would also be slightly different as well.

I agree. I can't think that Disney/ABC (forgot which one did this) would be so shortsighted as to not even try to get the heights right.

At least have it in order then, LoL. Just switch GR and WR :)

I think i figured out why the Rouge helmets look weird... Pick up the original 8inch Red...or Green Ranger action figures. It looks like whomever sculpted the Rouge helmets used the action figures as their source. Because fromt he side they both have the wide vidoes and the almost flat front... Just an observation.
