i finally won a power morpher but it comes with the crappy bobcat lookin tigercoin and i'm lookin to buy a mastodon coin the real one not a replica can someone sell me one plz :)

Simple little fact here. That "cat coin" is the symbol for KibaRanger in DaiRanger (which I recently found out), so I think it's kind of cool they put the symbol on a Power Coin. Though I would've preferred a show-accurate one.

So technically, the bobcat coin is show accurate, seeing that it was the white rangers zord symbol.

We should have Bandai remaster all of the 3rd season footage, so that Tommy uses the bobcat coin!

I wouldnt buy it...

Eh, I don' really care for the bobcat even if it is Dairanger accurate. I haveth correct version of it, so I'm happy. But could you imagine Tommy yelling out "Bobcat!" for his morphing call?

The cat coin doesn't look too bad. I do own it; it came with the 5 inch shiny non-automorph movie white ranger fig. Its silvery colored. But like others said, the normal white ranger ensignia would have been perfered. But still, the cat coin aint too bad. It rules and is coool.. in a weird sort of way...

I plan on getting the White Ranger coin and Dragon coin from Agnus down the road when my cash flow improves.

Yeah, the "regular" one came with the Tigerzord. The one with the movie fig is silver (like you mentioned Magma). Even more non show-accurate, but it works I suppose.

The Movie just kinda doesn't impress me, the Costumes sucked and it wasn't really true to the Series, plus the villians were kinda cheap but hey if the coin works for U then it works for U

The movie was not set in the same universe as the series.

Isn't actually a tiger? Anyway, the Bobcat, or Lynx was actually the ninjetti power animal for my fanfic Orange Ranger way back when.

People just call it the "cat" or "bobcat" coin because it looks more like a cat than a tiger, but yes, it is suppose to be a tiger.

And LoL, unless you really do have Jedi powers, you're screwed :005:

I guess it's good that Bandai make a Sentai coin for us but we were kids watching this and I think back then if I had have gotten that coin I would have thrown it away because it doesn't like Tommy's coin in the morpher. Why did the people incharge of the series do sentai coins in the first place?

because originaly they were going to use the Tiger Power Coin but after a few screw ups with the design and disagreements, they decided to go with the Sentai Coin

Are you talking about the animal image inside his LaiLai jewel?
Y'know, now that he mentions it, I think he's right!

But it's weird to think that Toei would put an animal that doesn't look like a tiger on it. Saban or BoA, sure, but I'm almost shocked that the people responsible for the super sentai version would let their quality slip that much.

I don't think it was the LaiLai jewel image, it was the symbol on KibaRanger's orb. It does look similar to a cat, but it's suppose to be a tiger. BoA just put the symbol on a coin.
