A Ranger Story
During the events of Return of the Green Ranger, Zordon had discovered that he could not truly destroy the Wizard of Deception’s wand and instead decided to send it back to the now reformed Tommy clone in Angel Grove’s past. The now rehabilitated Tommy clone, now going by the name of Tom used the wand to recreate a copy of the Green Ranger powers. Tom used these new powers to protect Angel Grove’s past and hid the Wizard of Deception’s wand from evil until he could destroy it. Tom had used the wand to clone a team of Power Rangers to help him protect Angel Groves past. Since then all of the clone rangers had died of old age and Tom was now alone in his fight against evil. Now in 1899 nearing the end of his life, Tom locks away the Green Ranger powers as well as copies of the five other original powers. Tom then uses the wand to lock away the powers until one of pure heart can come, unlock them, and choose a new generation of warriors.
Around 1993, Goldar and Scorpina had a son whom they named Midar. They sent Midar to the planet Necron in the M-51 galaxy to grow up in a peaceful and evil environment. They continued to work for Rita until 1994 when Lord Zedd took over Rita’s palace. Scorpina went to go raise Midar, as she feared what Zedd might do to her if he discovered that she was still loyal to Rita. To suspend suspicion Goldar remained and fought loyally behind Zedd. When Rita returned, Scorpina thought of coming back but decided to stay and raise her ad Goldar’s son. Goldar married Scorpina in 1997 after Rita and Zedd went on their second honeymoon, but Goldar later returned to fight with Rita and Zedd until he was turned into sand by Zordon’s Z-wave in 1998. Scorpina later scooped up her husbands remains, until she could find a way to resurrect him.
In the year 10,000, a young Eltarian “borrows” a time machine to travel to Earth in the year 1999. He takes with him some of his gadgets from his time and manages to land in Angel Grove in 1999. He bounds onto his cyber cycle and drives to a cave known only as Cave Zillian. There he finds a box with ancient symbols on it. The young Eltarian then manages to open the box as if through magic and takes out what appears to be an ordinary golden coin. He then shuts the box and drives off into the desert. In the middle of the desert, he finds what appears to be the remains of an ancient temple. Once again, he opens the box this time removing the Wizard’s wand. Then, with a few hand gestures, the building magically reforms. The young Eltarian then enters the newly reconstructed building
Eltarian: So this is the famous Command Center.
The Eltarian than takes out the wand once more and recreates a small robot, yet some energy from the wand is seen escaping elsewhere.
Alpha 5: Aye yai yai yai yai, Where am I, what year is this, where are the Power Rangers? (Looks at the Eltarian) and who are you?
Eltarian: So your Alpha 5 right, I just resurrected you, this Command Center, and the original dinozords and all you can say is “Who are you?” talk about ungrateful. You can call me Mike.
Alpha 5: Now where is Zordon?
Mike: He was sent to another dimension when he had Andros destroy his energy tube to release his Z-wave, he was almost destroyed but managed to hang on long enough to transport himself to a new dimension, I’ll see if this old wand has enough energy left to bring him back, then I’ll lock it in the museum wing
Alpha 5: But the Command Center does not have a museum wing
Mike: It does now; I added a bit when I rebuilt this place it looked like it was stuck in the early 1990’s. (The wand shoots out thunder and Zordon reappears, the wand then sparks)
Zordon: Thank you for bringing me back Mike, long time no see
Alpha 5: Zordon, you know Mike
Zordon: We trained together at the academy we were good friends
Mike: Zordon do you know why the Wand of Deception is shining like that
Zordon: Because, The Wizard of Deception is also coming back
Wizard: Yes, now maybe I might go visit an old friend (Teleports away) ha ha ha ha ha ha
Wizard: Scorpina your looking so aged my dear. Here (Scorpina de-ages)
Scorpina: Thank you my old friend, Could you please bring back my husband and his friends too? Pretty Please?
Wizard: I might do you one better my dear (Resurrects Goldar, Finster, Baboo, Squat, and rebuilds Cyclopsis and Rita’s Palace)
Goldar: Ahh after 5 years I LIVE
All: Thank you Wizard
Finster: I shall start making some putties and monsters
Mike: With the Wizard Free, he is sure to resurrect the rest of Rita’s old clan. Hmm I will use my time machine to bring back six the best rangers of all time. Tommy, Adam, Ashley, and Katherine
Zordon: Rangers you have all been brought here because of your expert fighting styles. Goldar and Scorpina have come back to conquer the earth and you are the only rangers who can defeat him. You will be lead by Mike our Senior Ranger. You will use the original Zords and powers. Is everything clear rangers?
Everyone: Yes Zordon
Zordon: I am detecting a disturbance in the park, go rangers and may the power protect you
Mike: Alpha put these in a safe spot (Gives Alpha the box he took earlier) Time to break in these new powers. Everyone Ready IT’S MORPHIN TIME!
Tommy: White Tiger zord!
Jason: Tyrannosaurus!
Adam: Mastodon!
Billy: Triceratops!
Ashley: Saber tooth Tiger!
Catherine: Pterodactyl!
Mike: Dragonzord!
Terror Toad: Yum Rangers!
Tommy: Mighty Morphin White Ranger
Jason: Mighty Morphin Red Ranger
Adam: Mighty Morphin Black Ranger
Billy: Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger
Ashley: Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger
Catherine: Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger
Mike: Mighty Morphin Green Ranger
Mike: Time for some fun!
Terror Toad: I love to eat rangers their energy is so yummy!
Mike: Alpha Formation! Go!
(Catherine and Ashley attack from the back of the monster) (Billy and Adam attack from the left of the monster) (Jason and Tommy attack from the right of the monster) (Mike attacks him dead on cutting off his horn before the others attack)
Terror Toad: Aghhh, Mark my word one day I will be back stronger than ever
Mike: Good job rangers our first mission was a complete success
Goldar (Sitting in a modified version of Zedd’s old throne): Curses I will ensure the destruction of the rangers one way or another
Scorpina: Don’t worry honey, we will get them
Midar: Even if I have to destroy them myself
Goldar: NO!!! No, son of mine will be risking his life, you are inexperienced yet Midar, and much too young, why Tommy himself has over 13 years as a ranger.
Midar: And how do you expect me to gain experience father? If you never let me go out and fight
Goldar: You will train with putties and work your way up, I will decide when you are ready understand?
Midar: Yes Father
Goldar: Good, now go and train my son, you will be the most powerful warrior to walk the universe.
Midar: Yes father, Goodbye father Goodbye Mother
Scorpina: See you later son.
(Midar Leaves)
Scorpina: Don’t you think you were a bit rough on him?
Goldar: No, if I could be destroyed once by the Power Rangers, then so could he and I do not wish to live to see that happen.
