What ever happened to PR RPs..?

A while ago, I think right before the inception of Dino Thunder some one started a PR RP here, with original characters. It was a pretty good idea and it was fun, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting up another one. I'm sure a ton of people would want to. Though the first time it was done kinda on the go with no order, with some induction of some kind of rules and or order I think it'd work pretty well. Don't you think..?

Well it was still fun. If you started another one I'd play. Maybe we can collaborate with some others to see how to get it to work.

As for ideas... I had one for a fic that I haven't started. Each ranger on the team was from a different planet in the PR universe. They all came to a galactic assembly to honor the anniversary of the passing of Zordon, when Master Vile attacked. Each of the delegates who are PCs (player characters), were contacted telepathically, and told how to get to a secret zord bay, where a set of morphers awaited them. They each grab one, randomly, and morph in time to save the leader of the assembly from dying at the hands of one of Master Vile's generals.

If anyone likes my Idea, let me know. If so, I choose Black ranger.

Well I had this one idea for a henshin hero fic that was loosley based on kamen rider ryuki, and dekaranger in that because ryuki had 13 kamen riders, and deka had ten rangers everyone was wondering if having as many henshin heroes as humanly possible was going to be the new standard.

Well that got me thinking what if they did a henshin hero show that was the opposite of the typical henshin hero formula of the lone hero fighting a diffrent monster every week, in other words a show with the same monster but a different hero in every story.

The idea I had was that there was this wierd contagious body snatching alien force kinda like the monster from slither, and this one alien race in order to fight it developed a way to turn humans into magic cyborgs who could fight this creature.

Well the gist of the story is that this tranformation device they created to that winds up in the hands of a diffrent person who has to use their new found powers to fight the creature, but some how the creature survives and moves on to another town or city so the transfomation device which is semi-alive has to find follow it and find a new person to be the magic cyborg.

Well at first I kinda scrapped that idea thinking it was too George esque, but then I thought it could make a good chain thread with each writing the episode where we're the magic cyborg, of course the problem is that there's now an injuction on here against chain threads on here, but I did use the origin as my fic for George's fan fic challenge.

Well, I've finished pretty much every thing I need to actually run a RP. I just need the characters ::Cough::Youguys::Cough:: So please pm me the profiles so I can get this started. Even with 4 or 5 people I think it'll still be fun.

Anyone interested send me a detailed profile of your character, that entails the usual, short history, description of powers, appearance you know.. And I'll be able to start this asap. I have a bunch of new ideas I don't think have been done in a RP before, so I'm excited to try it out.

Yes I did say no. I still stand by that, I don't want this forum filled with RPG threads any more than I want to see duplicate 'be a ranger' or 'create a ranger threads. I am willing to allow one RPG if it's run by somebody who knows what they're doing and so long as it doesn't degenerate into a farce/
