"Well team," spoked Jack Landors. "I say we did a good job. We destroyed the robot, confined Gruumm's goon and only fifteen civilians were harmed in the crossfire. A new record." Jack, Sky, Z and Syd were all walking down the halls of the Delta Base having defeated another one of Gruumm's minions. As the Rangers walked passed an open room, they were the sounds of machinery whirring. Curious, they looked inside and saw Bridge sitting in front of a computer, printing out large quanities of paper.
"What is he doing?" Z pondered as she grabbed one of the pieces of paper and read it. "Let's see, 'Z punched, kicked, striked and kicked again, causing Morgana to lose her balance and topple to the ground. It may have lasted only a few seconds, but it was Z needed before pulling out her Deltamax Striker and started stradlling Morgana--' What?!"
Sky himself picked up a piece of paper and started writting what was one it. "'Sky Tate was in the Command Center, drinking his coffee as he was doing his report. He was so engrossed in his work, he didn't notice that a spider was crawling on his back. When he felt one of the spiders leg on his ear, he jumped and screamed like a little girl.'" Sky just glared at the paper and shot a look at Bridge.
"Bridge? What is all this?" Syd asked him as she too was reading one of the many pieces of paper Bridge printed. Bridge looked at her and said.
"Oh, well one day I was at the computer when I came across this website that had fan fiction about us." He explained to them.
"Fan what?" Jack asked.
"Fan Fiction." Bridge explained to Jack. "There stories about us. You, me, Syd, Z and Sky. Even Cruger, Kat and Sam get some."
"There stories about us?" Z asked herself.
"Of course," Sky answered her. "We are Power Rangers, so that automaticlly gives us celebrity status, I guess."
"He right." Bridge said agreeing with Sky. "But these are fictional stories. There are stories in which we are in high school, there are stories in which our kids take over for us and they become rangers, they are stories in which we discover things about ourselves and stories where we fall in love with each other."
"Fall in love? With who?" Z asked him.
"Well," Bridge said looking at Z. "A lot of people hook up you and me together." Bridge told her and Z had a "Say What?" expression on her face. "But Sky and Syd seem to be the most popular pairing with the writers."
Sky and Syd also had the same expression as Z on their faces and looked at eachother.
"But I have found some stories that hook up Jack with Z or Syd and sometimes I'm with Syd. And there's stories that have Sky with Z." He told them all. "But I've also found some stories called Slash."
"And just what is Slash?" Sky asked him folding his arms.
"Oooh, I don't think you guys want to know." He told him.
"Oh come on Bridge, tell us." Jack told him as he and the others leaned closer.
"Well...." But before Bridge could say, Cruger's voice came over the PA.
"Rangers, please report to the Command Center." Spoked Cruger's voice. So the rangers all went out the door except for Jack.
"Jack, you coming?" Z asked him while the others were already out the door.
"You guys go on ahead, I'll be there later." Jack told her as he sat down at the computer. "I want to learn more about this Fan Fiction?"
[A/N]: Well, here it is, the "sequel" to my first story, When Rangers Read Fanfiction (http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?t=94438). While it's not a sequel in the traditional sense since it doesn't picked up where the last one left off, you don't have to read the first one to understand what's going to happen.
