this isn't really a fic, but I'd figured this is the place to post it. Every year I play out a few episodes of power rangers using the toys, but usually its been like just a handful since PRIS ended. But Mystic Force was an exception, 12 episodes were created that fall within the continuity of the show, mostly, and I had planned a teamup - "Mystic Emergency", but I never got around to getting that one done. Anyway, I just wanted to share some of the ones I wrote, and if anyone is interested, I'll post the rest. These are written just as a basic outline.
this first episode is between Rock Solid and Whispering Voices:
Power Rangers Mystic Force episode 5.a
Titan Tool
-The rangers are estactic about their recent victory and the discovery of the Titan Megazord.
-Chip begins to boast, and Xander Joins in that nothing can stop them now.
-Udonna warns the megazord is just a tool, and should only be used when the situation calls for.
-Nick says that they can squash whatever comes their way now.
-Morticon is furious the rangers have unlocked the titan megazord and begins to form a plot to destroy
it.
-He summons a monster with powerful crushing tentacles and tells it to fight koragg. Koragg underestimates
the strength of the monster and gets caught in its crushing tentacles but fights his way out.
-Morticon says that the rangers wont be so lucky
-In briarwood the rangers jolly mood continues at the record store. Leelee says that she needs a bigger bag
to hold her 1 cd she is buying. Xander abliges and gives her the biggest bag the have, which
causes her to trip on her way out.
-the monster attacks and the rangers jump into action, confronting hideacs first. the use as much
magic as they can, which maddy thinks is over doing it.
-the monster appears in normal form, and the rangers jump to the titan megazord.
-they try to sqash the monster, but he is too fast for the massive zord.
-he grows and fight the titan megazord, and they trade blows using the saber and his tentacles
-he uses his tentacles to grasp the megazord in his clutches and begins to squeeze, the rangers realize
the only way to shrink him is to release their combining power
-they do and the monster shrinks, and the rangers retreat since their magic has been drained.
-Udonna reissues her warning about the zords being a tool, and they arent always the right one.
The rangers face a choice, go back with weakened states and try to fight, or stay and recharge while he
runs amok in the city.
-Needless to say, they go to fight. It is a fierce battle with the hideacs seeming to gain the upper
hand.
-Maddy saves them by using her water power and vida sends them away with tornado power.
-the monster fights the male rangers and knocks away xander and chips weapons and knocks them to the floor
-Seeing how maddy and vida handled the grunts, he goes and grabs them in his tentacles.
-Nick faces the monster, sword drawn, but the monster says he'll hurt the girls if he comes any closer
-Vida tells him not to back down, and maddy tells him not to lower his sword,to strike now
-He remembers udonnas words, and then Nick raises his hands up and says "sorry girls, its not the right tool for the job" and drops the sword
to the ground, wand emblem first. he looks up and says fire tunnel and a spell seal appears onthe
ground by his staff, with the other end in front of the monster. the flame hits and xander and chip dive
for their weapons, chip firing arrows and xander throwing his axe to free the girls. with the monster
superheated, maddy blast it with a geyser and vida uses her wind power to supercool the water and freeze the monster. nick jumps and swings
his sword and shatters the monster to pieces.
-the rangers are back at the record store cleaging up cds that fell during the megazord fight, each using
appropriate methods, broom, boxes, etc. While each are feeling that theyve learned their lesson, Leelee
comes in with a torn bag saying it got caught on the corner and demands a new bag. they give her a smaller
one and she storms out.
-Morticon is furious and vows to stop the rangers megazord at any cost. Koragg says he may have a way
to bring morticon to the surface, but he'll need help, the rangers help to be precise.
this takes place between Fire Heart and Stranger Within Pt 1
Power Rangers Mystic Force episode 8.a
Four Alarm
- Leelee tells Nick she saw a gorgeous gemstone on display at the briarwood jewelry store, called the fireheart
- Nick goes to investigate, when touches the gem,believing its the fireheart, it is
absorbed into his body
- when he gets back to the record store, a cd he's holding burst into flame.
- Koragg attacks the city, but when Nick goes to morph, his morpher lights on fire and is unusable.
- 1st battle, koragg beats the 4 morphed rangers when morticon's rock monster shows up
- rangers get beat protecting the unmorphed Nick, and they take him back to rootcore leaving the monster
- a cloaked hand grab's nicks burnt morpher
- Nick begins to heat up even more, after revealing to the others the fireheart is doing this to him, he
believes it is because the fireheart thinks he's unworthy
- at rootcore, rangers search for an answer in the xenotome, but nothing comes forth.
- nick begins heating up more, and is bordering on burning the whole place down, fearing for the rangers safety, he runs away
- Udonna advises the rangers that the fireheart is no mere gem in a necklace, and something else must have befallen nick
- the rangers wonder why udonna didn't say so earlier, but she says merely telling Nick this would be detrimental to curing him
- rock monster attacks again, this time in a quarry where his mastery over rocks is all powerful
- Madison goes in search of nick while the rangers battle
- she finds him by the lake, getting ready to jump in
- Nick is convinced he's a danger to the rangers, so madison morphs and attacks him. She uses
her water wand to temporarily cool him so he can think
- Phineas shows up and begins going on and on about birds and the lake
- A clue from phineas saves the day, when he recants the legend of the phoenix, to burn and be reborn.
- Phineas then shows Nick the morpher, no longer melted and throws it to him. Nick gets and idea.
- Madison objects, but Nick trust his friend, and lets the fire take him using its power to morph.
- The rangers are on the ropes, but Nick and Maddy show up just in time, while Maddy handles the hideacs, Nick takes on the monster, after some spectacular swordplay, Nick jumps foward
at the monster in a version of his flame attack, and pierces him
- Koragg grows the monster, but the megazord sword creates a whirlwind that lifts and cools
the rock monster. thenwhen the monster charges, the rangers use the mystic spell seal
attack. a short megazord battle, like the series
- at the record store nick explains to toby that the glass reflecting the sunlight caused the
cd to burst in flame, so toby has them move the cd's further from the front, much to the dismay of the rangers.
Nick thanks the rangers, and shares a look with madison, and with his now room temperature hand
he grabs madison and makes some a comment that hes glad its not so hot in here anymore. madison blushes and comments that she could use a glass of water actually.
This episode takes place before the Gatekeeper Pt 1.
Power Rangers Mystic Force Episode 10.b
Fan Club
-Hideacs and Koragg are searching the Forest for some creature
-The rangers show up and while Nick, Madison, and Vida battle Koragg, Chip and Xander fight
the hideacs
-Xander saves a group of villagers, including a little wood nymph, before he and Chip
join up with the other to fight Koragg, who flees when he sees all his troops have
been defeated.
-The rangers go back to outside the forest through the tree portal, and noticed a little
tree girl have followed them. Toby comes out of the store in a rush and the rangers group
together to hide her appearance
-when toby tells them he needs to go to the hospital to see his sisters baby, he tells the
rangers he needs them at the store. they say they cant until they take xander's cousin home
and when she rushes to meet toby, she looks human and says her name is Nim
-Xander isn't thrilled that little girl has taken a liking to him, because he is the nature
mystic ranger. she keeps trying to mention hes a power ranger in the store, and Xander
gets Vida to come up with a kid sized explanation why she cant mention that. she tells them
she was separated from her family in the fight, and doesnt know where they are, but since
xander saved her, she followed him
-morticon is mad that koragg let the wood nymph get away, but necrolai says she knows where
she is, and that leelee will help them get her
-at the store, the rangers get an urgent message from udonna, so nick tells xander to
watch Nim while they check it out
-leelee comes in and xander gets her to watch nim while he heads to rootcore after the
rangers. nim doesnt like leelee and senses something. leelee gets mean to her and she
runs out of the store
-at rootcore udonna says these people have lost their daughter, a special wood nymph with
powers over nature and earth. the rangers say they know where she is and that she is with
xander. at that moment xander walks in without the girl and the rangers leave
-nim runs out of the store and into necrolai and koragg who cast a spell on her and take her
to the middle of the city. the want her to shake the ground to raise the gates and release
morticon.
-the rangers to to the store and xander is upset at leelee for letting nim go, but nick says
the child was xanders responsiblity, not leelee's
-the rangers realized the city is being covered in trees and use the cover to get close to
koragg and nim
-once the villians use the childs power, the rangers bust out of the cover of trees and morph
taking down hideacs
-koragg turns into the centaurus wolf megazord and begins to attack, the rangers must form
the titan megazord, but xander doesnt want to leave nim. the rangers realize they must stop
koragg, but they wont forget about nim
-the megazord is formed and fights koragg. they begin to use the ancient spirit attack but
giant roots come from the ground and keep them from flying to the sky
- necrolai has used nims power to create a giant plant monster that fights with koragg.
-the rangers strike it, and it hurts nim, so they realize they can only fight koragg and
defend against the root monster
-xander leaps from the megazord and goes to rescue nim. she creates a wall of vines to keep him out since she is under Necrolais control.
-xander begs her to let him in, and when necrolai asks why, he screams because he is my friend! and nim snaps out of the spell. he uses his magi axe to defeat the hideacs and causes
necrolai to flee. nim says without necrolai, she doesnt have enough power to stop the creature
who is hurting the megazord, which isnt at full strenght.
xander says she is right, she doesnt have enough power, but THEY do. he has her hold his magi staff
and use it to give her some of his power.
-xander boards the titan megazord and the block koraggs attack and give his zord a mighty kick
-the plant creature disappears and then reappears behind koragg and binds him horizontally
-vida says they cant destroy him now, theyll hurt nim too, xander says they have read between the vines and use a new version of the mystic spell seal that goes horizontally back
and forth. koragg is defeated and flees since the childs power is lost, and the rangers use their
magic to return the plant creature to nims magic
-nim is reunited with her family and xander ask to visit nim in the future
-toby is back from the hospital and overhears xander saying he liked the kid after all
so he volunteers xander to babysit his niece
-koragg plots revenge, but against who?
Just wanted to see what people thought of some of them.
Honestly the best episode is probably Ranger Hood, where the rangers end up in the book Robin Hood, but I'll post that one later.
