Delta Star

Reprolabels.com (known for their Transformers stickers) has just opened a MMPR sticker section.
They have a full set of metallic bolt symbols, as well as reproductions for Morpher stickers.
Also, a variation of the Morpher stickers to make it look like it did on TV.
Check it out: www.reprolabels.com

Sure, but how will you do this? Inkjet ink will eventually rub off, and toner will crack when you cut through it.
If you want them to look professional, glossy, fit well, and be pre-cut and last for years, you'll need repro labels.

Hmmmm... $9 or Free????
Free sounds better.
But wait, It's 3 years later and my ink has faded.
What shall I do??? I must replace them.
REPRO Labels!!!
But... $9 or Free????
Free is still better

Um yeah, there IS something called LASER JET. Inkjet isn't always everyones choice. Besides these are VERY easy to cut, and don't need to $9 for one label.

Well, yes we were about to make the Dragon Zord TV version stickers, with gold foil and all. Have the scans on my computer which I was going to vectorize myself.
I don't know... not getting a warm reception here. If you guys prefer inkjet labels to actual gold foil on clear stock, then go ahead. It's not an option for Transformers, because of all the white ink and metallic ink that can't be printed on inkjets.
Power Rangers collectors came to me asking for this stuff, so I thought you'd be pleased. I'll gladly move along though, if that's what you'd prefer. Sorry to have bothered you.

There are people who have difficulty understanding that people are willing to provide a service for, that's right , MONEY. Delta Star, you are saving people both time and money. The people posting in this thread are huffy about people paying for labels when they can get them for free but here's what they're not taking into account
1) The money it costs to drive down to the craft store to get your glossy paper
2) The paper itself
3) Not everyone has a badass printer that will do the labels justice
4) The time involved sizing the labels so they'll print out properly (again not everyone has the programs necessary to make it happen in one shot.. they'll just end up wasting a significant amount of ink)
5) There are people who who are lucky enough to get their hands on ONE morpher.. let alone a whole set. Why the hell would someone want to go through all the trouble of wasting gas, money, time to make ONE set of labels? That's right, they wouldn't. they'd purchase from Repro Labels.
Don't let them discourage you Delta. For what it's worth, I understand exactly where you're coming from.

The way he said those was as if we couldn't do it professionally ourself. I'm saying, it's IS possible to do it yourself without having to pay for a service. Some people do have good printers, some people don't. Some aren't willing willing to pay, while others are.
It's probably the fact that this has been around here for a while, that's why he's not getting much interest. The fact that they've been HERE for FREE is not gonna help his case lol. Good luck though.

The free labels that are on here do not look at good as the ones on that site. The detail on the ones here pales in comparison. The edges of the letters aren't crisp. In terms of show accuracy, theirs are much closer. It really comes down to quality.. you can do a decent job yourself with labels that are "okay".. buy all the materials yourself.. OR... you have the option of having to do no physical work and have labels that are great. To each their own.
MMPR-TheGreenRanger
05-04-2007, 11:24 PM
There ARE better labels than ElusiveWookiee's, and ones that look just as accurate. Kylash posted his years ago, which were really accurate, then other members started their own versions, which was VERY show accurate. Do some searching and you'll can probably find 'em, cause I'm not just talking about his.

I think I'll live with my Dragon Buckler... I perfer the Zyuranger stickers anyway.
However... I agree with Outatime. And to add, there are the people who can't gain access to a printer, or can't find the right paper...
And just like anything else people gripe about, if you don't want to spend the money, then use the ones here, but if quality is your cup of tea, then by all means buy the damn stickers.
Plain. Simple. I just love when people jump all over someone for posting something that cost money... geez, look at this thread vice versa... if they were free would you all be griping? No... actually he'd be getting praise for "how accurate" they were.

The Zyuranger logo you have is the best one out there. The gold colored back Z sticker "not the orange one" is more accurate. It looks more the what you'd see on the show though, a duller gold color, and not very reflective, but it's still more accurate.
The last set of back stickers is mine. I made them a LONG time a go, until kylash did his set, which was scanned from a real buckler. Then theres the set on the paper bucklers, which me and a friend made lol. Actually, I did it first, then he improved.
Anyway, as I said, the sticker sheet for a real buckler is really relective and wouldn't scan good. Kylash tried that, he ended up cleaning the whole thing up in photoshop.
Phantom6
05-08-2007, 08:19 AM
Right I sent the file out to them, I included both the gold and the orange so they'd have a choice on which would suit their needs better.
Hopefully they'll be able to get these created with the same quality they put into all of their other products.
EDIT: I just got a reply, seems they're very interested in this. Is anyone here who owns a complete Zyu Buckler willing to snap shots of the front and back?
They're asking for reference images, probably for the gold stickers on the back.

Cool, I think I'll pick a set up. Those look very nice, and seem to have taken care of the "point" in the extreme corners that I couldn't get perfect.
If we could get Zyu stickers, I'd pick up a full set of six, if only for the back label.

Actually I think the ones I sent to them were yours. I am sorry about that:( . If I had known that you made them I would have given credit where credit was due. You did such a good job that the look exactly like the stickers that came on my bootleg Megazord. I had it sitting in a folder on my pc along with a tone of other sticker scans; the file did not have a name on it, so when I was naming them to send off to delta I just thought it was scans from the bootleg. I did not mean to pass your work on without your permission. I am truly sorry.
Any way here is a list of the scans that I sent them.
1. Scans of Your Megazord stickers
2. Japanese Dragonzord scan
3. Red Dragon Thunderzord scan
4. Thunderzord Assault Team scan
5. White Tigerzord scan
6. Japanese Thunder Megazord scan
7. Japanese White Tigerzord scan
8. Ninja Megazord scan
9. Shogun Megazord scan
10. Japanese Shogun Megazord shoulder Scan
11. Zeo Megazord scan
12. Turbo Megazord scan
13. Japanese SPD Delta Runner 5 sign scan
14. Power Morpher scan
15. Japanese Power Morpher scan
Hopefully soon we will have many PR repro labels.

Not that big a deal. I just sent them the sticker sheets, because I know a lot of people on RB, and elsewhere, want Daizyujin stickers for their MMPR megazords. While they can be printed off on other materials and look fine, I thought this way, they'll look like the real ones.
I sent them my newest sheet, which is quite a large file, for higher quality, and more accurate, I think, to the original toy. So, one way or another, hopefully we'll have some good Megazord stickers. :)

Thats a Buzz coin. The paint I used was actually a few different types. I sanded off most of the old layer of rust-olium gold art and craft paint and then sprayed about 3 coats of that on, It didn't take more then 5 min for each to dry cause its so hot out. Then after that I just used regular Krylon gold at about 3 feet away and put 3 coats on, then 3 coats of clear coat. It was done all within an hour.

Under closer review I really don't care too much for the labels.. they look nice.. but they're not exactly what I thought they were initially. look at the size of the "P" in comparison to the rest of the letters. The small "P" and the odd shaped "O" make the labels look off imo. Still, they're better than nothing.

I have to say that I am glad reprolabels do tv accurate stickers. I mean my printer is ok but it tends to give a bit of attitude from time to time.
Also it's become very hard to find morphers, I have one myself form years ago, and although I have found at least three, only one seems to be within my grasp (I sound like a comic book villain).
Whilst I wouldn't be bothered if reprolabels didn't produce zyuranger accurate stickers, it would be awesome if they did. I'm trying to make a dragonbuckler and while it has now become even more complicated than I thought, I am glad we have reprolabels to fall back on.
Of course on saying that I wouldn't have found it or any of the propmakers (at least two I have talked to on here) without rangerboard!
If you need the Zyuranger stickers for your buckler, just print them out. I know you mentioned your printer gives you some trouble, but it still works :)

I think people have an appreciation for Reprolabels. I do. Hello, I'm providing the stuff to size the stickers! Mainly because I was getting tired of the crappy BoA labels that were either really bad looking or were (coughmorphercough) upside down. Same reason I supply the zords, because the BoA labels are CRAP!! BoJ stuff just looks so much better. And also I'm just a good guy & want all the rest of you to have show accurate labels! :)

Speaking of the Zyu labels, I remember some people e-mailed ReproLabels about them and got some replies about them at least considering it. Anyone have more updates on that?

I contacted them, actually.
The guy told me that they at least intend to do a prototype set (he said that he needs to borrow the morpher that he used for reference to create the MMPR set again) for the front labels.
We're almost certainly going to at least get the front labels!
They just don't know exactly when.
As for the back and buckler stickers, I sent him links to the thread, to show him the templates y'all had come up with. He said that he wants to make full sets, but isn't sure that the other stickers are going to be possible.

Here's the original message (some key notes highlighted):
Thanks Tom!
I really, really appreciate all the help I've been getting. Your message was particularly detailed, and I need as much of that as I can get.
I have been doing this for TFs for years, and never had to worry about obtaining information, because I was already a TF fan. For PR, though, I am at a loss, and this is why it's taken me so long to start this out.
I already have the morpher on loan (again) to make the Zyuranger Buckler stickers. When I saw pics of the back labels, I thought it was actually on the morpher. This is the first I'm hearing that it is for the holster. Unless there are back stickers AND holster stickers... ??
Also, A Megazord and Dragonzord set of loaners is en route to me now so that I can make Screen versions of those too.
I told him that there were indeed stickers on both the buckler and holdster, and sent him the link to this thread to show him the ones that some people on here had plotted out.
Well having the front alone would be good.

Well, that's some good news. Hopefully they can work that out soon. I'm glad they haven't forgotten and are working on the Zord stickers too!
Thanks for letting us know, TBustah!
Zord stickers too? I hope they're accurate, though nothing can replace that original "shine" :D

Well, that's what the ReproLabels guy mentioned at the end of the e-mail TBustah posted. I'm assuming they'll look great considering it's like doing Transformers stickers.
I feel like I'm 5 year old again, being excited over stickers.
LoL, it happens to the best of us :)

There were stickers for the holder? Damn, if I'd known that, I'd have bought one from Outatime so I could've sent it over as well. I thought there were just stickers on the back of the Buckler. What was on the holder? I'l need to buy one......

There aren't any stickers for the holder. He might be reffering to the scuplted designs on it, but there are NO stickers for the holder.

I got a message back from repro, too. They mentioned finishing a prototype off and making sure they fit etc.
A-you are right that printing them off is easier and I will most likely give it a shot.

No, there were no stickers on the holster. The only stickers were on the actual morpher itself (front and back).

Just set your printer on the highest quality after you make sure you got the right sizes and everything :023:

Good to know there's someone else helping out other than me. I have a hard time finding images sometimes. But I think I did okay for the back of the buckler.........

Of course those are them.Sorry. I was just wondering because I'm wanting to turn the MMPR:TM Morpher Kit I got from Outatime into a TV show Morpher & I ordered the same stickers for my morpher. I just wanted to make sure that that's what I'm getting.

No worries, they should work :)Thanks for letting me know that. I sure hope they work, because if they're too BIG, or too small, then they won't fit.
Well Outatime used a morpher to make the the kit, so they should be fine.

Any chance we'll someday get color-coded bolts?
Any chance we'll someday get color-coded bolts?
Probably not officially, but I'm sure some fans can make them, or you can just paint them on in your desired color.

Well, I just got an update from ReproLabels on the status of the Zyuranger Buckler stickers. They sent a picture to post around, so people can see what they'll look like.

Well, I didn't really look on the forum, I just checked this thread since it's the discussion thread for ReproLabels stickers (this was at the top too, might I add), and posted it since no one else had. As for the other thread, it's title led me to assume it was another of a hundred other threads asking for the stickers. I didn't see who posted it. Sorry about the repost, but, still, it can't hurt to have it here too.

All good, but it also doesn't hurt to give other threads a look, especially when you're assuming it's about something else.

I ordered a TV morpher sticker set from Repro and got it in about a week. I looked over the stickers and the size of the MMPR:TM set I got from Pat, and they look like they're the right size. But I have to paint everything else before I put the stickers, so it may take me a while.
