So Im working on deka red swat mode for AX and while I have a long ways still I've got this idea for the side red reflector thing on the helmet. Take a piece of red vinyl (or just clear vinyl with red fabric underneath) and put one of those tirefly things that flash when the get moved (on tires they look like a circle of light) underneath (there is a good red a blue one).
So hopefully it would look kind of like police lights flashing on the side of my head as I walk around. Do you think that would look cool? I'm not trying for 100% replication of the actual costume so I'm giving my self some artistict license.
